I'm glad to catch a glimpse of Low Rider, Haven't seen him in a while. Do this in stages. Start with simple uncomplicated stairs. Plan for wrap-around stairs. Build in phases based on the availability of time and materials. Don't worry about how it looks to us. Think end-game. Consider a solar-powered AC unit for the interior, it's better to build in comfort.

Need to move the pile of poop away from the tree. It will start to increase in heat, even steaming and will kill the tree.
Pickles is so cute and so sweet.
Buy a big commercial fan and run an extension cord to power it inside the bin. At least it will ir uvate some air flow. Think I would just make wide steps in front. Eventually you may want to put one on the side or back where you come and go.

Since compost becomes soil, you should provide an air gap around the tree. A knowledgeable arborist told me trees breathe, not to plant them too deep, not to block air flow. Push the pile away into a ring?

I would spray a rubber seal on the inside of the silo before doing any of the framing or flooring. That way you know that water, bugs, and mice can't get through.
I would even spray the outside with what they call LineX. It's a coating that hears to the metal and seals it tight. Plus it will prevent the metal from rusting and the elements!
It can be pricey but you would make that silo home longer. 50 to 100 years longer if you do it right. It would be a good investment for future grandkids!

Congratulations on your recent nuptials. ❤ I was one of your early doubters, but I'm so happy to see where you are today and how devoted you are to each other.
On another point, you need to pull that poop away from the base of that tree. It will certainly kill it in the long run. You should load it in the bucket of your tractor and place it in an out of the way sunny spot. Alternate stacking the poop with greenery/vegetation to develop a healthy compost pile. In about six months to a year you will have 'natural black gold' to place around your homestead to grow grass, vegetables, or flowers.
Blessings and wedded bliss to you both. 🎉❤🎉

    Suggestions
    Move the poop from tree.
Pitch it about every 5 days (like tossing it in a compost bin).
That will help to turn it into compost for garden and flower beds.
Def steps with metal pipes for hand rail or decor. Painted black of course. Porch and both sides. Stagger steps along the entire deck. 4 sets...

Greg Judy regenerative grazer utuber sells a atv round bale mover and rollout feeder. Rolling out the bale spreads the seed, manure and organic matter to build soils. Perfect for future garden sights. Plant a cover crop, put a cover over it and burn holes to have a weedless garden. Run drip irrigation lines under the weed cover. The worms will go crazy and vegtables will kick asp.

The idea that came in mind. Is put the stairs on the side. Make the front your seating area. Have the chairs facing where they are. Facing away from the house. So you can look at the animals and the beautiful scenery. Watching the trees change colors in the fall. You can eventually hanging plants above. Where the front is you can have a rail for safety. Then the side either both sides or one. Have the stairs going down. I think one side would be good. That way you can make one of the corners in the front for your chairs and a table. I wish I could draw a plan for my idea of thinking. I know if I had a beautiful scene to look out at with animals I love. I would love a place to set my chairs and watch the sun set. Since you will have the gable roof at the top of the porch you would be safe there on the front edge. On a rainy day you can sit there and watch and listen to it. I hope I got my vision of what the deck should look like. I know one side with steps isn't very balanced. Unless you are planning on adding into the deck in the future for chairs for porch sitting. Then the stairs don't matter to me.

Don’t put the steps on the deck extension. Put 2 smaller sets peach side of
the deck. You could have rail all across the fronIt angling down on the ends. It will be easier to have furniture under the timber frame cover.

May be a sully idea: Railing all around the deck with temporary gate on the front. No goats on deck o kids falling down.

A 12 ft section of stairs per side. Then, All the way around the front door.

Do the steps in sections. Front 1st, then 1 side then the other side.
