  • Frank Meeink grew up in a rough neighborhood in South Pensilvania. At the impressionable age of thirteen, he discovered the Neo-Nazi movement.
Frank's fascinating journey from the notorious skinhead gang leader into a faithful Jew is a powerful message to us today -- that hate ultimately destroys the one who is hating.
Frank is now a proud activist, teaching harmony and peace to young people in America today.

My brother moved in with us when I was 10 years old (he was 6 years older than me). He was a neo-nazi, and so were all of his friends. I idolized him because he was my only brother (half-brother), and I rarely saw him before that. He took me under his wing and I do remember having very similar experiences to Frank. Luckily he moved out 2 years later, and I haven't really seen much of him since.
    I converted in 2012!

The biggest problem that each of us will face very soon is the increase in natural disasters. We are entering an era of huge disasters of enormous power and scale. Compared to this, all the other problems will seem a little trifle. If we do nothing now, in 5-7 years it will be impossible to live on the planet.
There is a solution and a way out, but we need to take action. Only when billions speak out, will scientists, presidents and the media hear us.
The real reason for the rapid increase of catastrophes, and also the way out of the situation are voiced here: *"Global* *Crisis.* *The* *Responsibility"* (online forum).

O believers, if an evildoer brings you any news, verify ˹it˺ so you do not harm people unknowingly, becoming regretful for what you have done.
Fight in the way of Allah1 against those who fight against you but do not transgress2 for Allah does not love transgressors. (Al-Baqarah 190)
      Footnote :
      1. The believers are asked to fight those who hindered their efforts in the cause of God, and acted with hostility towards them merely because they sought to fashion human life according to the revealed guidance of God. Earlier, when they were weak and scattered, the Muslims were asked merely to preach and be patient with the wrongful repression meted out to them by their opponents. However, now that a small city state had been established in Madina they were commanded for the first time to unsheathe their swords against those who had resorted to armed hostility against their movement of reform. It was some time after this injunction that the Battle of Badr took place, to be followed by several other battles.
      2. The believers are told that material interests should not be the motivation for their fighting, that they should not take up arms against those who were not in opposition to the true faith, that they should not resort to unscrupulous methods or to the indiscriminate killing and pillage which characterized the wars of the pre-Islamic era, the Age of Ignorance. The excesses alluded to in this verse are acts such as taking up arms against women and children, the old and the injured, mutilation of the dead bodies of the enemy, uncalled-for devastation through the destruction of fields and livestock, and other similar acts of injustice and brutality. In the Hadith all these acts have been prohibited. The real intent of the verse is to stress that force should be used only when its use is unavoidable, and only to the extent that is absolutely necessary.
      (214. Or think you that you will enter Paradise without such (trials) as came to those who passed away before you They were afflicted with severe poverty and ailments and were so shaken that even the Messenger and those who believed along with him said, "When (will come) the help of Allah'' Yes! Certainly, the help of Allah is near!)
Victory only comes after succeeding in the Trials
      Allah said:
(Or think you that you will enter Paradise) before you are tested and tried just like the nations that came before you This is why Allah said:
      وَلَمَّا يَأْتِكُم مَّثَلُ الَّذِينَ خَلَوْاْ مِن قَبْلِكُم مَّسَّتْهُمُ الْبَأْسَآءُ وَالضَّرَّآءُ
(...without such (trials) as came to those who passed away before you They were afflicted with severe poverty and ailments) meaning, illnesses, pain, disasters and hardships. Ibn Mas`ud, Ibn `Abbas, Abu Al-`Aliyah, Mujahid, Sa`id bin Jubayr, Murrah Al-Hamdani, Al-Hasan, Qatadah, Ad-Dahhak, Ar-Rabi`, As-Suddi and Muqatil bin Hayyan said that
(Al-Ba'sa') means poverty. Ibn `Abbas said that
      (...and Ad-Darra') means ailments.
(and were so shaken) for fear of the enemy, and were tested, and put to a tremendous trial. An authentic Hadith narrated that Khabbab bin Al-Aratt said, "We said, `O Messenger of Allah! Why do you not invoke Allah to support us Why do you not supplicate to Allah for us' He said:
(The saw would be placed on the middle of the head of one of those who were before you (believers) and he would be sawn until his feet, and he would be combed with iron combs between his skin and bones, yet that would not make him change his religion.) He then said:
      «وَاللهِ لَيُتِمَّنَّ اللهُ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ حَتَّى يَسِيرَ الرَّاكِبُ مِنْ صَنْعَاءَ إلى حَضْرَمَوْتَ، لَا يَخَافُ إِلَّا اللهَ وَالذِّئْبَ عَلى غَنَمِهِ، وَلَكِنَّــكُمْ قَوْمٌ تَسْتَعْجِلُون»
(By Allah! This matter (religion) will spread (or expand) by Allah until the traveler leaves San`a' to Hadramawt (both in Yemen, but at a great distance from each other) fearing only Allah and then the wolf for the sake of his sheep. You are just a hasty people.) And Allah said:
(Alif-Lam-Mim. Do people think that they will be left alone because they say: "We believe,'' and will not be tested And We indeed tested those who were before them. And Allah will certainly make (it) known (the truth of) those who are true, and will certainly make (it) known (the falsehood of) those who are liars.) (29:1-3) The Companions experienced tremendous trials during the battle of Al-Ahzab (the Confederates). Allah said:
(When they came upon you from above you and from below you, and when the eyes grew wild and the hearts reached to the throats, and you were harboring doubts about Allah. There, the believers were tried and shaken with a mighty shaking. And when the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is a disease (of doubts) said: "Allah and His Messenger promised us nothing but delusion!'') (33:10-12) When Heraclius asked Abu Sufyan, "Did you fight him (Prophet Muhammad)'' He said, "Yes.'' Heraclius said, "What was the outcome of warfare between you'' Abu Sufyan said, "Sometimes we lose and sometimes he loses.'' He said, "Such is the case with Prophets, they are tested, but the final victory is theirs.'' Allah's statement:
(...without (such) (trials) as came to those who passed away before you) meaning, their way of life. Similarly, Allah said:
(Then We destroyed men stronger (in power) than these ـ and the example of the ancients has passed away (before them)) (43: 8) and:
      وَزُلْزِلُواْ حَتَّى يَقُولَ الرَّسُولُ وَالَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مَعَهُ مَتَى نَصْرُ اللَّهِ
(...were so shaken that even the Messenger and those who believed along with him said, "When (will come) the help of Allah.'') They pleaded (to Allah) for victory against their enemies and invoked Him for aid and deliverance from their hardships and trials. Allah said:
(Yes! Certainly, the help of Allah is near!) Allah said:
(Verily, along with every hardship is relief. Verily, along with every hardship is relief.) (94:5, 6) So just as there is hardship, its equal of relief will soon arrive. This is why Allah said:
      أَلاَ إِنَّ نَصْرَ اللَّهِ قَرِيبٌ
(Yes! Certainly, the help of Allah is near!)

Absolutely terrific guy. Has just the right attitude.
Many years ago I read about a similar guy, who came from Italian American background who grew up in a tough neighborhood in or near NYC. He was a member of a neo-Nazi group, but eventually left and connected with Simon Wiesenthal Center.
He said one of the most important things I ever heard anyone say. When asked what drew him into the neo-Nazi group, he listed a few things, but one of them was reading and hearing in so many places how supposedly racist white people are. And then he said, "CALL SOMEONE A RACIST TOO MANY TIMES, AND HE WILL BE A RACIST!"
This phrase I will never forget. It opened my eyes to so much.

Judaism s afterlife is a spiritual existence as such no parallel to physical life can be given. Suffice it that it is clear the most desired physical expression will with time and repetition not only lose what benefits it may have once offered but through this eternal repetitive monotony downright morph to the deplorable, and repulsive. The spiritual realm is the abode of the ultimate spirit. God. Hence the hereafter is of the close proximity to the source of all life- God with whose breath animated plain dust into what we call life. Inherent with the ability to analyze to deduce decide and independently act upon this self generated equation. A computer is referred to as hardware. The fact and functioning of the intangible binary code is called its software. Somewhat of a comparison may be made of our physicality to the hardware of the computer. The totality of ones experiences throughout life, the resulting level of wisdom and calibre of characteristics comprise our software A dated computer is disposed it’s parts go nowhere in particular, they disintegrate. Before discarding, however, a crucial task of uploading the sum of its contents need be performed thereby perpetuating it. Physicality returns to the elements, but the true essence of an individual/computer in its abstract intangible form remains Such is the case of ones soul or spirit truly, the essence of our being. It is this essence, eternally uploaded together with all previous existing ones before it all gathered to rest in the greatest of mainframes. This is the closest allegory I propose..

The individual who Frank worked for (antic furniture) has a great part of Frank positive actions , it is well know in the Jewish religion that after death an individual has to give an account on every act even the minor ones and the intentions which motivated to do those acts , accordingly he gets judged
So when Frank's employer after departing from this world, god will say to him look how much good you have done you have saved generations... He wouldn't know what god is talking about then god would show him what has developed from his acts of kindness
Every good deed even the smallest like nodding you head to someone with a smile can go a very long way you may have saved someones day, marriage, life, who knows what, it could be generations.

1000% People generally don’t look at the “butterfly effect” their actions take, and especially in Judaism when God is accounting for all deeds and misdeeds. Each person has a chance in this world to grow and to establish their place in Shamayim and for all eternity by doing the right things, and even if people fall (depending on their individual situations,) and fix and get back up again, like Frank has, can bring them to even greater heights that they’ve never imagined!

One of my challenges is the fear of being rejected for not growing up Jewish, but then it comes back to not neededing to prove anything to anyone but myself and trusting HaShem to guide me to where I can best serve Him.

Absolutely wonderful Frank. Your story lifted me up during these trying times. Before my aunt passed away, she told me that my Schmelzer family was Jewish. My father was Irish but I never could fit into that mould. I went to a Bat Mitzvah for a friends daughter and actually felt at home. I still need to make the journey. You inspired me. Thank you.

Awesome! I dressed like a skinhead in the 80s and as a young adult, but the hate didn't suit me.
I hated to hate, but loved to love. So I changed my appearance, but got lost in the area of love instead.
The 12 step movement and Judaism's 7 noahide mitzvot have transformed me into a decent human!
Mitzvot makes people connect with Hashem and the One transforms humans if we just put some work to it.

Back in the early 90’s when I was in High School in Southern New Jersey Across the river from Philadelphia the NeoNazi movement use to hand out paraphernalia, all hate speech and praise for its movement, I had some and My, at the time I didn’t know, Jewish grandfather approached me about it and explained to me why I should not succumb to that kind of stuff…anyway later in life I learned. I should belong in this community also..slowly researching and making moves this year. Thanks Frank for the inspiration to move forward a little and put that moment of my life at ease. Frank, thank you for this testimony. I am a Jew by choice, and converted 2007. I consider myself a Yòrùbá Jewish American. German-born Nigerian American. I am proud of my journey and my yòrùbá-Jewish life of Metaphysical social justice.
I too had an experience befriending a neo Nazi guy, when I first came to the US when I was almost 20. He and I were about the same age. I was in college and working at a restaurant to pay for my school. In fact, I hired the guy, but I did not know what neo Nazi was then. Therefore, I did not associate his bald head and rough exterior to racism. Everytime we worked, I would drop him off at his home. One day, five of his friends waited for me outside his home, and warned me never to show my face there again. I willingly complied and only spoke to my friend at work.
About a couple of months after, my friend told me that he will be leaving town to never come back. I was surprised, and asked him why. He told me that was a member of the neo Nazi group and they had done so many bad things to black people, even black children. He further told me that my friendship took him by surprise and he could no longer justify doing anymore harm to other people. And even though I have not seen him since then, I keep wandering what happened to my friend, hoping he is actually alright and has found a path of peace. Perhaps he might even read this message. One never knows. I might meet him again, if only to affirm him and let him know I appreciate him.
I would live to chat with you about your journey and discuss my ideas if Metaphysical social justice.
    Toda raba. Shalom l'cha

I'm sorry that some of those fearful neo Nazi people tried to use the Bible to reinforce hate and lies; I want to say that I grew up learning to love Israel and the Jewish community through the Bible. An intellectually honest person cannot read Genesis to Revelation without seeing the absolute centrality of the Jewish people. Even when Yeshua was about to be crucified He told Pilate that no one takes His life from him, He laid it down of His own accord. It was His choice out of love. Anyways, much love to this channel and this man!!

      Tanakh, yes, but "NT", no!
There is much antisemitism & anti-Torah in "NT".
Tryng to convert Jews to worship a man (image) as God & king, is part of that. It's a truped-up form of idolatry!
Pls study Deut.32 very carefully & see the 18 verses about the church & all it's offshoots, incl Islam,
how Mosheh warns us NOT to join such enemy, & to rid ourselves of their rock / god,
and about their character & outcome,
      VERSUS
how Paul strings just a line or 2 together with random unrelated verses, verses about good news of return from exile, about the holocaust; adding in lines; subtracting & adding (i.e.replacing), etc, to convince the ignorant to join the enemy!!!
And if ur insistant to read "NT", study Acts 10 and see WHEN & HOW Cornelius was cleansed & righteous. Ask urself if he would've continued in that way that made him cleansed & righteous, or if he would've forsaken it as he followed the apostles out of synagogue & Judaism, & into assimilation, & thus lost his cleansing & righteousness. Ask urself WHAT Jesus / Y'shua did for him??!!! (Acts 18:7; 19:9; Phil.3; etc). Surely the writer didn't want us to see this, while trying to convince everyone to believe in, follow, & even worship a false messiah (king).
