- Here is a video on my closest run where I attempt to beat the game in 1 run with no upgrades and failed by dying right at the tunnel. If I remember correctly this was about my 5th attempt on trying to do this, the previous ones I either crashed my car or got killed but never made it past Brighton square which means I never really got a chance to practice tunnel drive so on my 5th attempt I got lucky and made it past Brighton square and was surprised on how good I was doing on west ridge and north side park, so once I reached tunnel drive I used what I remembered from when I beat highway to hell with no upgrades. I'm honestly surprised on how I almost beat tunnel drive on my first time reaching it in months and I was planning on re doing this run and beating it in one go but since flash got shut down I haven't been able to play the game so I decided to upload the video clip where I almost beat it. Yeah I know you can use flashpoint to play this, I see new videos on it every day in the recently uploaded. cool to see that other people are still playing this game after flash got shut down.

Since john was close to the edge of the city maybe the nuke took a few extra seconds to reach him giving john time to reach the tunnel and make it. most likely not since the game says he immediately dies when the nuke blows up.

The tunnel was probably in the edge of the city and far away from the nuclear radius.

Nice. Your videos always impress me. Are you gonna keep trying to make this one? It looks like it might be possible but seriously hard. Its not easy to get to that point and it might require practice
yeah in the future I might try and do a no deaths, no upgrade run and it does require a lot of practice to make it to where I was
@@parkourgamer_ev4860 Have you thought about using customized save files? I'm fairly certain you could play right before the tunnel drive, make a copy of the local save file and replace it every time
It's not the same but is easier practice, might work

I once beat the great escape with no upgrades from Chinatown to tunnel drive but since it was a practice run I didn't record it and wasn't planning on making it but since I did I didn't really fell like restarting Great Escape so I decided to do a no upgrades run on highway to hell which is the only clip I have of me beating the game with no upgrades but I have beat the game a couple of times without any upgrades.

Thanks. This was an old video that i recorded when flash was still around and uploaded it soon after it was gone. you can download the Newgrounds player on Newgronds to continue to play flash games in 2021.

Hi, I once tried to complete the game without upgrades and my maximum is Chinatown. And by the way, did you try to make a race with the most difficult helicopter?
no but I wanted to but flash got shut down so I didn't really have time to. In the future I might try flashpoint to play this, I used the newgrounds player but couldn't figure out how to put the game on it. Im sure the NG player works now cause I see people playing it on newgrounds.
