This model was also used in Nigeria in the 60 and 70s during the years of marketing board e.g. Cocoa, Oil Palm and Cotton marketing boards across the regions. They support farmers with seedlings, equipment and grants and then buy the produce from them for grading and export. Introduction of IMF backed SAP killed our agricbusiness.
Point of correction, it was used popularized in the old western region of Nigeria, by the Awolowo government and that gave a lot of South Westerners financial and economic edge above other regions.
Isn't it exploitive? Isn't it like contract farming ? Where you sometimes have to borrow (via the company to get the equipment and training you need) then you get into a contract and have to sell your labour and produce below market price until they have made their money back which could take decade(s).
IMF killed cooperatives all over Africa
but the fruits and veggies grown like that are tasteless big and beautiful by no taste
@@efemzyekun900 It means you have not done enough research. North had marketing boards for cotton, Eastern Region under M.I Okpara had marketing board for oil Palm produce. Each region was self sufficient based on what they can produce. Always do some research before correcting other people's opinions please.
This is the second time I'm seeing this farmer on CZcams, and i really admire what he's doing.
The farmer's message at the end of the video is one to be thought in schools. As a Geography teacher, this video is my instructional material
Indeed
Well done my kid brother,Gano
I pray you grow in this journey day by day. Amin
please where is the location because I need to learn from them
@@frankmarvy4143 same as me. I want to know where it is
@@frankmarvy4143oh I've found that it's in Ogun state
I am absolutely elated to see this happening in NGR. Positive change is really happening in our country. You are a shining example to our youths. More grease to your elbow.
This is the real futuristic fellow who transmit capacity to youths to handle the future.
This is amazing this is a whole community i luv this i would luv to learn this time of farming beautiful 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 greetings from Jamaica 🇯🇲
GANO ANOTHER GOOD VIDEO , KEEP UP BRO AND WE HOPE GAMBIA IS PROUD OF YOU AS NIGERIA DOES
I remember watching this man's TED talk years ago. I'm happy he's doing some of the things he spoke about and much more.
We need this kind of partnership. This is generational shift. Ideas using technology and maximizing potential. Imagine if we partner with his company especially in the North. Where land is in abundance. I am from Niger State and i have preached this gospel for real. I would share this vidoe with an aid to my governor. I hope he reaches out. Keep it up Bro.
I was just speaking to someone about modern farming techniques last week. I learnt a lot from this video, thanks.
Work,learn and earn ..
Broo we need this in Gambia.
Hello everyone, can someone tell me the location of this farm in Nigeria? Thanking you in Advance.
Waoo this is mind blowing I can’t believe this is happening in Nigeria . Thanks for the information.
I have never come accross such an impactful video. I would like to get in touch with this fellow if I can contract him to set up a similar project back home.
That message at the end from the farmer should be the new Nigerian slogan, "If one person can make it and you cant make it, Nigeria is not the Problem"
You content is superb sir.. I have been watching your videos since day one.. now you have grown into great content.. too much respect for you...
Thanks a ton
Pls can I have your email, am into youth work, I am interested in what you are doing. I have thousands of youth that this will transform their lives.@@Ganodidit
This is a great program and way to think in the business, learning, and teaching model. The real question though is what are the growing methods? What's in the soil-less? How is the water filtering? Where are the seeds coming from? Are they natural/organic and non-gmo? Does your produce reproduce seeds?
Beautiful message at the end. Smart Farmer right here! ❤❤
This is what Africa needs thanks so much for sharing keep it up, all the best to this great man
Awesome video again buddy, watching from South Africa. Extra ordinary establishment , this is impressive guys. Would love to visit the place someday
This was the most informative video in agribusiness I have ever watched! Thanks
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته. ما شاء الله.
His vision and team play character is good.
May Allah grant you patience for uploading educating content.
This is awesome, right inside Nigeria, God bless this young man
What he said at 4:50-5:25 is so true. That is what Wal-Mart does. You get DOC, feed, housing and equipment from them. And they buy the chickens from you.
I love this; well done Gano
The model that allows young people become empowered and start earning while they are learning is great!
This has simply blown me away.....extremely inspiring.
This is a great idea. Kudos to all the hardworking youths. Nigerian youths are not lazy after all. What we need is good, selfless and purposeful leadership.
However, it is hoped that the challenges which killed similar agricultural projects in the past will not be allowed to affect this one. 🙏🙏
Really inspired .....from South Africa...this is sô needed in SA
Thank you so much!!!!
So glad I watched this. Very impressive. I cdn't help but shared with a couple of people who desire to grow flowers. Keep up the good work and may God bless you. More grace
Thanks for an incredible work and, the opportunity you're creating for our people on our behalf.
Great video bro ✊🏾
Samson Ogbole this is good, thank you for the good work . Kudos.
This was a very valuable episode 💯
I can't wait to help you brother ✊🏼
We are really proud of you, gano.
This is awesome.
Gano you really did it this time!!!!
very deep vision when quiet my job to follow a carrier in agriculture
Thank you for this, thank you for sharing our story. We do not take it for granted
Farmer Samson nailed it with his last piece of advice ❤
MaashaAllah what a wonderful job, this is amazing, you did not mention where we can get them. We enjoyed it.
Yo I’m from Gambia but I live in America but also starting a Fram in Gambia but still in building process. I like ur videos
Simply ingenious! That's all I've got to say.
Damn this guy wants to have control over veggie supply chain Nigeria. That is why he is offering free training to the youths and making them involve for free and by doing that he is going to earn their loyalty and those young folks will sell their harvest to only him. That's how he will have control.
He is a very smart guy. Weldone Gano.
Clever guy team and Amazonification system !
Powerful closing remarks
This concept is mad. Bravo
This man suppose to be our Agric minister-I hope BAT will see this
This is simply great
Please keep it up
I love this...great model sir.
This is excellent! Thank you for sharing this video. 😍
Thanks for sharing this informative video. Kuddos to the farmer.
Truly amazing.
Cooperative society model of Social Enterprise Business. This is encouraging and should receive support from Bank of Industry Nigeria. Youths moving from consumption to production 👍💕
He Didn't Start That Business With His Own Money. You Can See Baba Ex President Obasanjo On His Farm. He Is Also In Ogun State Nigeria 🇳🇬 Some Rich Yoruba ON Top Helped Him With Funding And Money. He Didn't Need Bank Of Industry. I Am Going To Nigeria To Meet Up With Him To Set Up My Own Greenhouse Farming On His Land So That They Can Manage It 12:53
@@AfricanUSA-th9ov I can see you are more interested in ethnicity issues than the business model. Many people have benefited from Bank of Industry Nigeria and he too can leverage on that. Replicating same across Africa is what should be the focus.
This is Capitalism. Socialism destroyed Africa
God bless you I really appreciate you efforts where is this in Nigeria wow
Thanks for sharing the information I want to implement your ideas in the east side of Africa, one love
Mashallah, proud of you, Farmer Samson.
You are a true visionary.
Well done young man. You are an inspiration
Take home message, sales is everything.
Keep soaring
Wow, this is very amazing and innovative. Please where is ur location in Nigeria. I'm very much interested to be trained.
More grease to ur elbows
This was so intriguing to watch as someone who works in Agricultural Research but also with a personal passion for farming engrained from childhood. It would be great to see what are the input costs for each unit at maximum production for an individual crop and methods of pest management. Really love this, great job 👏🏽 👏🏽 👏🏽
Your channel has grown, congratulations bro 👏
It's a privilege to get trained at Soilless Farm Lab👍👍
Please how can one enrol in the training
This is amazing,I will like to do my SIWES here, I am very interested.
This will be a dream come through if I am being selected sir, I am a student of university of ilorin I have filled the form, for the SIWES student.
Good job. Impressive and inspiring!
I love this but you should have asked the difference between the paid and free trainings. If you know it pls help do the train online or only physical? It will be great to learn
This is wonderful, I love this
Great work of nature, well done ❤
Inspiring man. Nice video production. Wode Maya has competition. 😎👍🏽
I'd informed Maya about Farmer Samson Ogbole several times to no avail. Thank God it's been shown here.
Good job!
I know this guy. Is he the owner. He taught me in lesson when i was in secondary school
My dear this is a great one
Keep up the good work
We have such a similar program in Kenya under KCB Foundation tujiajiri program that hoped to empower youths in agribusiness
I would love to enroll in his 3 month course to improve my farming knowledge

Great work my African people!
Wow i love to learn this please how can i go about it
Thanks!
Thank you 🙏🏾
inspiring
I would love to do this in America.
Well done.
"The concept of work is obedience to God."
I totally agree, work is the highest form of worship, just wish our youths got this message, internalised it and put it into practice. Brilliant and educational.
❤well said
This is the quickest solution for Gambians as we live under ethnic, religious and social harmony. We can join hands and minds to make ends meet. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
please am interested of learning this soil less farming how can I get access to the school
Woooow this is excellent 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Well, good concept, to go big, or to have private gardens at each household, with some support, online or crash course. The seets are the important part. The right, healthy ones....not gen manipulated.
You are right my brother
The best thing I saw here is Nigerians fabricating their own business materials. All good things do not come from overseas. You know, and feel the problem. No one can solve it better. Well done, folks. May all the success you deserve come your way..
Awesome work
👏👏👏👏💗💗💗🧘♀️🧘♀️🧘♀️
