@@jermainegulley6452 it's good yes but limited. You can only use 8 tracks but if you use drum racks(which can contain audio & midi sounds/effects) and instrument racks (which you can use a single sound/one-shot) to create chord/synth progressions. Also simpler will be your best friend if you prefer to chop/slice/reverse any samples
Just spent a solid hour and a half going through this video, taking notes, and experimenting with it. You don't know how much I mean it when I say this video helped me!! Could never figure out the whole layout with other videos- So yours, with the commands on screen and with the example song walkthrough, super super helped me~! Thanks for making such a helpful and detailed video

Is there anyway you could help me? I've tried to look online and I can't find it anywhere. In Ableton all of the plugins just show up as black boxes at the bottom and you can't click on or just anything, do you know how to fix this? I've been wanting to record stuff for a year and haven't been able to.

Thank you for your video; I learned much from it. I'm wondering if you have specified a setting that I haven't. Or likely it is because I have a Logitech Track ball mouse and it behaves differently than your mouse. I am using the latest Lite version of Ableton. You said to shift scroll wheel to move left and right, and to control scroll wheel to zoom in and out. However whether I hold down shift or control (on Windows), the scrolling of my mouse wheel does not behave any different. Rolling the track ball "left and right" does move the time line left and right. Rolling the track ball "up and down" zooms in and out. But again, holding down shift or Control does not change the behavior. Please advise if I am not doing something right.

Yeah, using AI to generate the actual 'music' immediately pushes one out of being a musician and artist into the realm of ... not even really a producer, just a computer monkey. I want to see someone add their own melody and chords, then do all the parameter settings and eq'ing etc.

You can add up to 8 tracks in Live 11 Lite.
fun fact: using a drum rack u can add instrument and or/ audio per pad and have each one with its own effects, transpose, etc.
Its cntrl + drag for windows users. :D

If you watched the whole video, 90% is exactly described by the title. Yeah, the title should have had, "with Splice." If he had done the video starting from nothing, it would have been much longer.

This vid is an advertisement for Splice so the title is wrong. The title should be something like "Using Splice with Ableton Live 11 Lite" but of course that title would result in less views.
why would you want to be a musician if your just gonna have some AI do the music for you...this sucks. What a soulless way to produce "art". Lets have the robots do the creative part and well just focus on the boring aspects of life
