      That's not really true.
the German Empire + the Austrian Empire + Bulgaria + the Ottoman Empire VS France, the UK, the Russian Empire and Italy.
If you consider that the USA were important during the war... you should be more honest: they arrived in France when the French general Franchet d'Esperey had already won against Bulgaria which asked to an armistice (followed then by the Austrian which was now threatens by the defeat of the Kingdom of Bulgaria, and finally Germany). The USA clearly did not much. And we must keep in mind that it is because of Germany that they entered the war. (So do not say that the World was against the Central Powers. If they had not attacked countries like the USA and Portugal they would never have joined the war).
You also think that others countries such as Portugal attacked the German Empire and the Central Powers. It is totally false. The German Empire DECLARED war on Portugal (9th march 1916) ( and not the other way around). Portugal is like the "Lithuania" of the Central Powers : that is to say the Kingdom of Lituania (like the United Baltic Duchy...) were members of the Central Powers but had no influence, such as countries members of the Allies like the Japenese Empire...

@@Nicolas-hq7rw You seem to be inventing your own alternative history timeline. Back in the real world, the US declared war on April 6, 1917, and were landing troops in Europe from June of that year at a rate of 10,000 a day. Bulgaria signed an armistice with d'Esperey on September 29, 1918, a year and a half almost to the day from the point at which the US entered WWI. The war itself ended just over a month later. Fancy appealing for truth and honesty, then coming out with an absolute whopper like that!
What's more, Bulgaria was operationally active in the field till the latter half of September, 1918, and did not 'surrender' as you suggest, as her army was far from beaten or forced to fight on home ground (on or within her pre-war borders). Even despite a partial breakthrough by the French and Serbs along one section of the front in mid-September, the Bulgarians were at the same time winning in other sectors against the Greeks and British (Third Battle of Doiran). It was just blindingly obvious that the war could no longer be won by the Axis side. And, yes, the US throwing their (considerable) weight behind the Allies is exactly what tipped the balance - otherwise that conflict might have ended in a stalemate. The Bulgarian logistical situation was also pretty dire, nay, untenable, and they were totally depleted and worn down from keeping half the world's armies at bay on the Salonica front for 3 years running, being all the while outnumbered, outgunned and outprovisioned. And actually fighting a 2-front war. For reference, the Serbs only lasted about 2 months after they had a 2nd front opened against them.

Taiga Aisaka I'd like to point out that it was not just the Assisnation that caused WW1. There were a lot of factors, including France wanting Alsace Lorraine back, even though EVEN TODAY it still speaks German majority wise, As well as rising tensions due to increasingly Agressive policies of all sides. If I were to be honest, I'd say that the Germans were the most brutal during the war, being the first to use gas attacks, and other brutal means. And I'm a German person, so I'm not trying to insult my culture. Also I'd like to point out that Hitler was a total maniac. You can't say he was good. He blamed minority groups for Germany loosing WW1, even though it was not their fault. Many Jewish citizens actually during WW1 were awarded for their bravery. Hitler was an evil human who was extremely greedy, cruel, and devilish. He wanted to take over the world (Lebenstraum), not just lost lands. You could argue against him being truly horrible by mentioning his good deeds in the beginning of his reign, however anyone who has studied things like this would know a dictator CANNOT come to power without people being desperate, and then him, at least at first, trying to fulfill his promises. If, say, I was a dictator, (this is extremely improbable) I would have to be in an extremely desperate country, promising prosperity and wealth. If I were to get power, I'd have to fulfill those promises first, and then if I did have some extremist ideology, I'd insert that slowly. If a dictator shoves their ideology into people from day one, then the people would rebel and get rid of them while they were still weak. It's like drugs, it is nice at first, but it soon consumes you and could end to your ultimate destruction.

By the way the uniform you see at 2:28 is the ceremonial court uniform of Mehmed V, it is clearly French insprired. During the reign of Mehmed V most uniforms in the army and navy were German based, except for the uniforms of the Ottoman elite, they kept wearing the French inspired court uniforms. I personally think the Germans had the best uniforms and of course the Ottomans had to copy the uniform style of their allies.

Austrohungaria put expected ultimatum to Serbia after heir death. Otoman, i am actually not sure but after all i am sure if the central powers won they would take what they deserved and put human reperations avoiding ww2. As Bulgarian I still cry sometimes for the lost brothers abroad because they were put on brutal assimilations especially from Yugoslavia.
And one more thing before drop my tear, one of the most sad things is that our armies were better if the war but was only here on the Europe continent we would win. 4 countries cant stand alone.

Thanks to Kvancnik for this informative & (in my opinion) artistically tasteful montage.
Here's a suggestion for a possible revision of the same material:
    1. Translated subtitles (perhaps via hypertext) for the legends (captions) in the posters. I don't speak or read German.
    2. Consistent with number 1, labeling (where not already obvious) of the identities of the Central Powers & nationalities of the iconographic soldiers'.
    For examples:
2a. Frame 3:10 has two obscure men in the back row, third & fourth from the viewer's left, i.e. 3rd from viewer's left=Kemal Ataturk (or the Crown Prince of Turkey) & 4th from viewer's left=unidentified (maybe Mannerheim of Finland in his younger years, cf. the pectoral cross with white tips=Finnish?) &,
2b. Frame 4:01 there are five uniformed soldiers portrayed but (as far as I know) only four Central Powers; the German (pickelhaube), the Austrian (bearded with mountain visor cap) & the Turk (with fez) are obvious & the neatly khaki-uniformed man in the foreground may be Bulgarian--so who's the odd-man-out (upper left of viewer, to the German's right)--Finnish or Baltic (e.g. Lithuanian, Latvian or Estonian)?
Happy Holidays to the solver of this puzzle!

2a.) In the back row, from left to right (viewers perspective) are: The Crown Prince of the German Empire, the Tsar of Bulgaria, the Crown Prince of the Ottoman Empire, the Crown Prince of Bulgaria and the Crown Prince of Austria.
2b.): There are indeed five soldiers. That is because the Austro-Hungarian Army is often depicted with two soldiers in such propaganda cards: one Austrian and one Hungarian (Dual-Monarchy). Both soldiers in grey uniform thereby are from the Imperial and Royal Army.
I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Best greetings from Austria!
