Kim, sorry I'm just getting to this video now. Thank you very much for sharing this with us! This kit is very strange in that it seems it was only ever done this one time in 1981. Given the Matchbox ownership at the time and the various accessories I'd say this was intended to represent trucks from Great Britain that were doing the Gold Run to the Middle East...!

Very cool volvo semi cab i had never seen that one by amt very rare kit.
yeah, I`m beginning to understand that it IS a very rare kit. Several modelbuilders have said to me in the last couple of months, that they never saw that kit. And its a very nice kit... 😃
Troy Michigan was the hometown of AMT! The odd thing with the Volvo F12 is the GB licence plates and left han drive. In GB you have right hand drive...

Well, I actually build one once, and it was a fun build. So I might do another one at some point. I just checked my videos, and to my surprice, it dont look like I did a video on that model yet. So maybe that would be the firste step, doing a video on the one I allready built 😁
