Rock Choir sings A Thousand Years at Pershore Abbey, Worcestershire on 30/04/22

On Saturday 30th April 2022, members of the Worcestershire and North Worcestershire Rock Choirs joined together under the leadership of Jacob Ashworth to perform a concert at Pershore Abbey. The event was organised to raise money for St Richard's Hospice in Worcester.
Whilst it is always more nerve-wracking to sing for a paying audience, the Rockies were thoroughly inspired by their beautiful surroundings and put on a fantastic show. After the last couple of 'Covid' years it was fantastic to see so many happy singers in one place!
As a member of Paola Olivetti's North Worcestershire Choirs (Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Bromsgrove & Redditch) I'd like to thank Jacob & his Worcester Rockies for inviting us to join them at this amazing event. We were so happy to help raise funds for a very worthy cause.
