There are lots of doctors, engineers etc. etc., but there is only one Rahul Vellal. I remember that when Dr. Shobana Vignesh became popular with her film song on Sri Ranganatha Swamy, she said she will stick to devotional songs only. Some doubted saying she was too young to take decisions. But she has stood by her word. Rahul has a great future in the Carnatic and Devotional music world. I am 77 years old.
