Russia's Finding Ways to Legally Attack NATO - Using Hybrid Tactics

  • Arson and espionage have intensified significantly against Poland and the Baltic States. Kaja Kallas of Estonia openly calls on NATO member states not to be afraid of the aggressors: Belarus and Russia, and to be able to drive them back, as well as provide real winning assistance to Ukraine. Because as of now, Russia is in search of legal ways to harm NATO and engage in all kinds of confrontation, except for the conventional one.

Why was the USA so successful during the Cold War?
It implemented the Marshall Plan to economically strengthen its partners in Europe.
The USA was the largest economy and opened its market to the products of its allies.
The USA offered its allies a security umbrella with nuclear deterrence through NATO.
As a result, America managed to push back the influence of the Soviet Union on Europe and ultimately win the Cold War.
The alliance between Western Europe and the USA is proving difficult these days.
For example, Germany follows a mercantilist economic model and is therefore dependent on cheap energy and large export markets.
Russia and China can provide both of these for Western Europe like no other country.
The USA, on the other hand, is becoming increasingly less important as an economic partner.
And since the collapse of the Soviet Union, there is no serious military threat from Russia to Western Europe.
Nevertheless, tens of thousands of American soldiers are still stationed on German soil in hundreds of US military bases and US nuclear weapons.
If you look at the situation objectively from the US perspective, America is protecting Europe from the countries with which it has close trade relations.
Europe's core interest, however, is to further expand its economic relations with the USA's biggest competitors.
Don't be blinded by the politicians' rhetoric.
Feelings, shared history, values, culture and traditions play no role at all in whether alliances really work.
What matters is whether the interests coincide.
And it turns out that the interests of Europe and the USA can no longer be reconciled today and this partnership will soon end.

Russia is a mouse not a bear. We must see the economic, technological and military “power” of Russia in perspective. Russia is indeed a huge country in square km, but only has (a declining) 144 million inhabitants (Mexico 128 million, Japan 123 million). This is about 30% of USA or Eurozone. The GDP of Russia however is only 4% of the GDP of the Eurozone + USA, this is equal to the GDP of the small countries Belgium + Netherlands. And less than the GDP of the state of California. Relatively (per capita) the GDP of Russia is very low. Beside that the economy of Russia has signs of a 3th world economy. Half of the income is coming from oil & gas. Based on this, Russia isn’t a world power. And for sure, it isn’t a economic power. This is the reason they can’t build up and maintain a big army. The army they have is far beyond normal proportions in relation to their GDP. This hurts their budgets and prosperity permanently. In this perspective, Russia is just a dictatorship with a huge inferiority complex and dangerous megalomaniac dreams. The path they chose shall be and will be their downfall.

You asked for money and weapons and said that you would defeat Russia in 2022. You asked for money and weapons in 2023 and said that you would attack Russia. You said that the Russian army cannot fight, its weapons and tanks are old, hundreds of thousands of Russian soldiers died, there are no Russian soldiers to fight. You said that we need money and weapons for defense in 2024, otherwise the Russians will defeat us. It's been 3 years, but you want to recruit people under the age of 28. If you don't have soldiers, you can't win a war with money and weapons. War is won by volunteer soldiers who fight honorably for their country. It is won by the army and the people who respect their leaders. I feel sorry for the soldiers who had to fight and die because they were poor and old while the rich and women left the country. You want NATO soldiers because you can't find men to fight. If Ukraine cares about democracy, you will not delete this comment.
