Mass Effect in UE5: “Hold the Line” (Test)

- Just a fun test to see how the next Mass Effect will look, as it’s been confirmed for Unreal Engine 5. Note that this is just an upscaled/enhanced Salarian model. Couldn’t find scales, and digging through BioWare’s (unorganized AF) animations is a nightmare, so I just mocap’d it with Rokoko.
Making good progress with my assets bed, so expect cool stuff soon! No better way to start ME content than with my salarian homie, Kirrahe.

I have zero confidence in Notbioware's attempt of creating a new Mass Effect entry.
But your video surely gives me some hope how awesome the remaster/remake of the original trilogy in the 2040s will look like!

Quite the opposite, actually. It took a lot of experimenting with body mocap and setting up/tweaking facial blendshapes for face mocap.
Setting up the scene only took a few minutes.
Its just like AAA
