- Mother-of-four Beverley Doran (right), 37, today abandoned her three-bedroom council home in Shipley, West Yorkshire, for good and later said a new family home would be her first priority. Her former partner, Sean Priestly (left), also spoke of the win today, telling friends that she has already been in touch to tell him he will see none of the money (bottom inset), but later commented that he was ‘chuffed’ for her. Neighbours on the estate were seen helping themselves to the discarded goods (top inset) - including furniture - left outside as she moved away to enjoy her new-found wealth. And today Miss Doran, who has four children aged 17, 10, 9 and 5, cancelled her benefit payments of £320 per week which she has relied on for the past two years.

I love to listen to these "real life" stories, as you yourself can only imagine what it may be like to win the lottery, the thoughts that would go through your head, what you'd feel, how you'd behave...and here it is, someone telling you as it is. A real nice woman who loves her kids and has had to work hard, I wish her and her children all the best, may they all have a very happy and comfortable life, couldn't have gone to someone more worthy.

I'd 100% not tell anyone the true amount including family, they'd find out one day! I'd want to remain in control, have a quiet life etc but they'd all be taken care of. My lifestyle would never make anyone wonder if I'd won the lottery and I'd start a little business as a decoy.

Why am I torturing and depressing myself watching people who's won the lottery.
The one thing that annoys me about big lottery winners is when they keep there jobs. There’s so many people desperate to work just to survive feed there kids etc, winners can afford to give there jobs to someone in need
