Nothing beats the sound tho, will always make me smile
I’m daily driving a 2015 6.7 F250. Back I’m 2020 it was amazing when diesel in Texas was $1.50 a gallon, but when it hit damn near $6 a gallon when Russia kicked off their war I had a moment of weakness where I thought about selling it lol. Life is short. If you can afford to drive something you love, do what makes you happy. I love my truck and I wouldn’t trade it for any luxury vehicle or sports car.
yeah man felt that love my 7.3 but sometimes it sucks to have to spend $125 filling it up vs $25
@@powerstrokecentral Oh absolutely! It does hurt the wallet and the feelings having to fill up, especially with the current economy. I have considered buying a 3.0 Powerstroke F150 as a daily driver and saving my F250 for a future tow rig.
I got a 97 7.3. I daily drive mines and i love driving it. The smell of diesel. Taking good care of it. It just makes me appreciate this great life I’m living & love
i love dailying mine i just would rather drive something with better fuel economy
Cool video! Very informative. New sub here and soon to be new owner of a diesel. Getting a 2018 gmc sierra slt with 94k miles on it
This dude deserves 2 mil subs new to the channel, i love it already! imma subscribe.
I got a 07 dodge 2500 hemi with a 6 speed manual and a 99 7.3 powerstroke. I’ll take the powerstroke over the dodge everyday. My dodge can’t even get out of its way and if I got a trailer with 2 snowmobiles on it the dodge is lucky to pull 60 mph
i am thinking of getting a 2003 - 1995 disel truck, are they worth it? thinking of a hilux or an isuzu ippon, are they good trucks?
I clicked on the video to see your opinion and your definitely right but I’m still gonna do it anyways🤣 idk I just love diesels. I’m buying a 7.3 idi I’ve heard a couple of guys that get 20 mps’s in there idi’s so hopefully I can get that
Idk man, I had a 7.3 IDI, loved that thing to death, but the fuel mileage was awful on that thing, but it was a crew cab dually manual too. On the plus side though, my mileage wasn't much worse when I hauled a literal ton of paver stones with it, and that squatted the truck going down the highway.
I’m spending 100$ a week on mine which sucks but I’m also on 37s ! About to hit my next oil change soon !
I’m paying a fuck ton for insurance!
i bet your mpg is like 9 lol
@@powerstrokecentral nahhhhh surprisingly it’s between 11/13 ! On 37s ! The worst I’ve had is 10 but that was once because I didn’t fill up all the way. But overall need to change out my fuel filter and do my oil change!
The insurance for my ‘99 F-350 single rear wheel is a good amount cheaper than my wife’s 2019 versa. My truck is $340 for 6 months and her car is $450 for 6 months. Main reason is because her car is much newer. But i’ve been daily driving diesels for the last 14 years so i’d prefer the diesel over the gas engine. Plus i do a decent amount of hauling stuff around so i need the diesel truck anyways. I’m actually upgrading my alternator tomorrow to a high output powermaster one. The only reason i’m swapping the old one out is because the bearings are making noise so time for a new one.
nice bro id like to see your truck if you wanna send it to me on instagram?
@@powerstrokecentral, i don’t have any social media unfortunately. Don’t need it, don’t want it. I can email you some pictures and videos if you’d want to do that instead. I’d just need your email address.
@@powerstrokecentral Are you planning to sell your truck? I am very glad you're not a tree hugger. We need this democrat out of office and get diesel back down to $1.89.
Diesels are really efficient things are done to a ride but you start jacking them up making bigger injectors and all that take the reliability out and they're really efficient especially if you have a small diesel engine in a car I got I know people I get over 50 60 miles of a gallon and then I daily drive my 60 everyday I get 16 miles of the gallon and it's a dually but I have a recent and that's just factory I'm sure if I put stuff on too I can probably get more fuel light in it
Yeeeeeee I got a 02 f250 7.3 on 6” lift on 35x12.50r17 i daily it in California
dang man hats off to you.
@@powerstrokecentral 7🌲gang I got some short on my page if u like to see her
@@fuelup7504 what’s your gram?
@@powerstrokecentral just got CZcams bro
Btw the hydra chip link isn’t working
fixing it now
I would still drive a 7.3 daily….just wish I could get my hands on one for a good price that doesn’t have a million miles on it
I'm confused on some of this.
#1- you're putting 3000-5000 miles on your truck every month?
#2- 3 hour oil change? Lol
I pay $40 for my 7.3 insurance
thats super cheap
I'll take the 125 a week and half on fuel than 80 every week on a gas 6.0
Dude im gonna tell u right now alot of what u said is actually dead wrong one if ur changing ur oil every month than u an hpop problem of a really nad oil leak u shouldnt have to till at least every 4-5 months to twice a year two insurance on pick ups is always much cheaper than on cars regardless of wether its diesel or gas insurance companies dont care whats under the hood i asked and if u should be getting at least 18 to 20 miles to the gallon ik this because iv known people who are diesel mechanics and have been driving diesels there own for years l
So you're saying you can daily one and be fine? Cause I been looking at some heavy lately. I seen a '12 F250 for $26k with 160k miles and a '13 F250 for $26k with 248k miles. Then I seen a '15 Sierra 1500 for $25k with 99k miles. The way I see it.. it would make sense to just get a diesel at those prices.
I'm 7.3 to the bone a
yessir same here just not the biggest an of daily driving it.
I’ll give you 5 grand cash
I pay 66 for insurance
thats. crazy
Show me a Prius with 500k miles 😂 i will stick with my diesel
And he parks it in an apartment complex
Prius? Wear and tear is the same for a daily driver , gas or diesel. Take away motor and trans…NO difference dude….everything you mentioned has nothing to do with diesel.
Did you say change oil and filter every single month ? You sound like your exaggerating to much son …
I was just thinking the same thing….
