Hey guys, in this video I used the Wanwan commander. I used the wanwan skill 2. This skill makes it so that a line of units takes damage, and then also take increased damage for the rest of the round. Combined with mage belerick this can cause some instant one shot of some enemy units.
With this strategy I went for mage crystal early. I wanted to start with mage mystic bureau, one of my favorite synergy combos as it is strong in the early game. This would allow me to scale to level 7 to roll for 3* units.
At level 7 I will stay above 20 gold to maximize interest and with the rest I reroll. You will see me buy random 3 cost units while rerolling. This is because im trying to shrink the 3 cost pool so there is a very slightly better chance of belerick/estes/kagura/selena showing up.
My favorite item for this combo is enchanted talisman, the faster belerick uses his ultimate the better. For runes the 35% or 45% chance for free reroll is great. 25 gold or unlimited expansion are also great to quickly get to level 7 to reroll.
Belerick as a mage is extremely strong against melee compositions like lancer or weapon master.You’ll have to pay attention to enemy unit placement when against range compositions to make sure belerick ultimate will reach them. My favorite time to use mage belerick is against Elf warrior, the belerick ultimate hitting just half of the elfs will cause them to all instantly fall.

I have tried to use belerick as core many times in mage lineup but I can’t stop myself from using Lunox, Joy or Gord whenever I see them on re-roll. I end up using one of them.
