JUNE 13, 2019: People from all walks of life turned out in their numbers for the 'nine night' of former Prime Minister Edward Philip George Seaga in Tivoli Gardens, Kingston.
Mr Seaga's photo was in my home and i grew up as a child in the eighties seeing it. I recall my mom telling me that one sunday when a motorcade was to pass through st elizabeth as a child in my own way cooked play play soup for him and stood infront of the garage looking out to see when he passed. Its not a political thing for me its just something about him. Wish i was there to celebrate his life he contributed much to Jamaica's culture amongst other things and will be missed. Beg unu one a the tshirt nuh? Small me wear. RIP
Freedom deliverance is here. I will never forget those words. What mr seaga has done back in the late 70's and early 80's was a dream come through. I never knew what it meant to be hungry under his leadership in comparison to when Manley was in power May his soul rest in peace
