- Hey !! I recently went to the 2019 Sussex Presidents Day ATV Rally, they put on an amazing event, had a great turnout of 244 Registered bikes with many more not registered. They had some great sponsors who donated really nice prizes. I also ran into the same trail police as last year and thats in the video also, I hope you guys like it, if you do give it a THUMBS UP ! and leave me a comment, I love to hear where everyone is from. I Wish I had more time haha Im away for work all week then on the weekend I have a bunch of house stuff to do, but Im going to plan a camping trip I think, I need to get away for a weekend for sure. Hey Pat ! We'll i'll have to get it looked at then, better to be safe than sorry. I know with the clutch noise almost all Grizzlies make that sound, I don't have enough miles yet for it to be too dirty.... but I could always open it up and check. Thanks for the heads up !

@@Maritimer any of our local dealerships would have some information on it, but our main club house is on the upper quaco road we have a website for the club and all, you should be able to gather some information there

Hey Sean ! thanks for watching man ! yeah to be honest I'm not a fan of the big group rides either, I'd much rather go by myself or with my brothers, father. but a rally from time to time can be fun.
His he or does he have Jack Russell Terrier in him , he is always so well behaved
Hey !! yes Wendell is a pure breed Parson Russell Terrier. which is a lot like a Jack Russell but the Parson has longer legs, and a more square snout.
it took a lot of training but he's a pretty good pup ! were still training him today... terriers are hard headed haha
Glad to hear you speak about the issue of playing in the rivers and brooks. When I see that on a video, it gets an automatic Thumbs Down from me (same with drinking while riding). What people don't realize is that, aside from the issues that you mentioned, riding tears up the stream bed and causes all of that silt to drift downstream. This destroys the streams for fish like trout, who can only spawn in clear water. Thanks for keeping the great videos coming. I always enjoy your content.

Yeah man I actually had video of the guys driving in the river but decided to edit it out.... it really bothers me when people do that. if you need to cross a river b/c the trail crosses it, it much more different than playing in the river... I love trout fishing and you are totally right, these guys give all ATV'ers a bad name....

Authority ! I fought the law and the law won,lol. Sure would have been cool if the trail police would have just let you put your trail permit sticker on the cargo box lid like the other stickers.
haha law almost always wins lol and yeah I know but its the law it needs to be visible and on the left side of your bike.... oh well haha

Hey buddy, I just used some old 2X4's and have them sticking out about 8" from the wall stud, I have another 2X4 block under it to brace/support it too. My plan was to put a small lip on the end to hold it a but extra but it seems to be holding great. I'll show it in another video I do.

Thanx for the sticker shout-out! Great spot for it too! If you're not one for plastering your machine with everyone else's stickers, it'll get shown off when you open the lid to the cargo box.
You need to tilt your camera up just a bit so we can see down the trail better (just an observation from the last few videos of yours. you can tell me to take a hike if you want - lol)

Hey buddy ! I saw some pics that Taco posted on IG, looked like a good trip ! and yeah I know that camera needs to be tilted better, it was sort of annoying.... oh well I'll try better next time haha might start using my motorcycle helmet for ATV'ing too.
Yeah I hate having stickers on my bike so i usually keep them in my storage box, saver in there anyway, plus I always have it open in videos so everyone can see the sticker too.

Hey Maritimer I hear you about taking the bridge I mean if its there use it right. But no matter what all that stuff you talk about falling off your bike still falls off only on the trail. 1ST rain and it all washes down and into the creek anyway. just saying great video thx
Hey man ! I agree, but some of those new SXS are too wide and cant fit on the bridges, but what bugs me are the people who can fit on the bridge but choose to drive through the river... But yeah I agree with you. thanks for the comment !
Something that he forgot to mention is that the biggest problem with people driving through rivers is the degradation of the stream bed and all of the sediment that it kicks up. All of that sediment washes downstream and clouds the water as it does so. This disrupts the habitat for the river-dwelling creatures. In the case of a trout stream, trout need clear running water for spawning and if the river is full of sediment, they can't spawn and the trout population declines.
you're 100% right ! and Trout is my favourite fish, especially brookies, I love the spots, such a beautiful fish.

When did you go on this trip? Didn’t see any leaves on the trees and looked a bit chilly. How awesome to have places close by to ride. I went out today, just a local place with a some puddles and a 2’ deep puddle that looks like a small pond to cool off in. Came home with a flat but, that’s riding.

Hey Dave, yes I mount it on the chin, no external mic, but im looking to get one, I usually just drill some holes in the back of the GoPro case to its easier to hear my voice. but I think I could use an external mic.
the maritimer stickers are pretty sweet ! i wouldn't have a problem with paying for the trial passes , but they are dam ugly to stick on the bike lol. i saw mainville atv did a clutch kit on his wife yamaha .....would you ever do something like that ? great video as always ......i don't have a preference to what you make...the camping and trail ones are pretty enjoyable for my self.
Hey man, I agree, I HATED sticking that sticker on my bike.... I don't get how they can force you to put something on there that you don't want.... (that isn't a safety or public concern)

Maybe you need to make a tag to put the stickers on, I saw that some motorcycle have a little tag that attach to the bike to put inspection stickers on etc so that it doesn’t have to on the forks or body it’s self. You could possibly add it to the front rack.

Hey Dave, these are in Sussex, New Brunswick, Canada, Beautiful spot ! and Adair's Wilderness lodge has cabins, gas and a restaurant and direct access to the ATV trails.

yeah for sure I like my Hero3 seems to do everything I need it to do. I know another good CZcams'r TDubsKid he has a Hero 4 with a mic and his videos come out really good too.

Hey buddy, I hear what your saying, I go out for the same reasons, just to relax but I don't have too much of an issue with them on the trails, just checking trail passes/insurance, they really don't bother people much unless your completely wasted haha but i'd say 90% of the people on this rally were drinking, and the only guy that was pulled over had no insurance card on him.
@@Maritimer I don't have anything against the police, my son is a police officer. I just get weary of the constant long arm of government. But, at least they were cool.

@@Maritimer Yamaha TTR230. I sold my ATV to get one. Now, I want an ATV again. I don't want to get rid of the bike though. Can see some of our videos on Tennessee Valley Offroaders YT channel. Some with a Jeep and some ATV. No dirtbike vids yet.
