Amazing painting! ❤ Length is perfect.
Thanks for letting us know!
do you have any references, or if you paint from imagination, what do you think when you paint this work ?
This was based on our hometown, so we used a lot of pictures of the city!
@@MatteNande thanks 🙏
Your work is absolutely gorgeous, it's such a pleasure to watch the process! I have a question, I need to paint a kitchen for my short film, but always end up overwhelmed because I don't know where to begin. I'm working digitally, but I figured I would ask!
Thank you very much! When you paint a complicated set piece I would first start to block all the main colors to fill the whole canvas.
Try to find the right contrast levels en color values. Dont be discouraged by this first step. It can sometimes feel overwhelming, but if you keep finetuning you will get there. Later on you can fill in all the details.
@@MatteNande This helps a lot thank you so much, looking forward to the next video!
@@lemordicus_ Thanks! We're editing one now inbetween commitments!
I really need to know this, what is the ideal GSM of the paper that should be used for poster colours?
Not sure on the GSM, most important is that the paper can deal with a lot of water
what size is that paper and where do you find TMK paper that large? Thank you!
This is the most amazing painting you've created so far! How long did it take you?
Other questions: what pencils did you use to sketch out the background before painting and what other big pieces of paper do you reccomand using for poster color paint. I tried finding a bigger TMK size but had no luck. Thank you and amazing job!
Thank you very much! We had about 12 hours of footage, and didn't film everything, so it's safe to say it took a few days!
Usually we sketch out the layout digitally and then trace it onto paper with a mechanical pencil. We have no experience with using other paper, but have talked to some who tried hot pressed watercolor paper, with mixed results.
