This is the true example that proves highest technology, highest products, and money can not create a nice scape. first you need a vision.
I am not an expert, infact just a beginner...but I feel the potentials of a 5m tank was spoiled with the initial set up. There is no essence or perspective. Looked like a meager tank with rocks and plants slotted in randomly. For such a huge set up, there were no proper differentiation of height.. could have easily created some caves, "hills", and so on to have a better perspective. And the pebbles being arranged like tiles on the foreground is so poorly thought... nature is never well arranged. Beauty in imperfection. And the tank after a year I suppose grew some wood and such? 😆
Great effort but please do not claim to have done the biggest and best in India when you don't have your claims verified
Agreed
absolutely correct. this scale of a project should deliver better end results. As you can see they have used way too many lights for this slow-growing / low-light required dominated setup. Also, the lack of fast-growing stem plants will not help balance the system's nutrients. the amount of soil used in this tank is a total waste. no carpet plants but a huge layer of soil in the foreground? No white sand to contrast the overall dark feeling of the scape? the tank has been maintained badly as well. I think it's a bit waste of money, to be honest.
yes doesnt look good even after a year. maybe the tank did not have much width so they were limited. i dont like it though.
Please note: the following is not intended as hate. It is purely my opinion on what I think was lacking in hopes that the next project can be even better.
The initial hardscape and planting to be honest was underwhelming. It was initially a weak iwagumi layout (lacking depth and a story). I don't understand how it took 5 days to create a scape so lacking in depth and a story. post initial build it looks as if someone decided to throw some driftwood in the tank and fashion epiphytes to create some depth and perspective.
This is not ADA quality 😑
I understand this is a huge step forward for Indian aquascaping however in my opinion whoever was tasked with this scape, was not technically prepared for a tank and scape this big.
Yes I too felt same ! Anyway a good try.
when you have the resouces but not the brains or vision this happened. No offence but just saying, far from the kind of nature aquarium we expect from the team.
Let's hope they do better next time🙂
I was about to share the same comment, this is not ADA quality its very armature, it's very artificial
Well said
I have to agree with RT Gaming. The stone arrangement is weak. I would have expected better fish for something this large. All in all, underwhelming.
All is well!
However, no information on the type of tank-build, all materials/products used to set it up, including the base / table / cabinet structure.
For example :
*How the entire 5 mtr structure was conceptualised? What efforts and planning went behind it?
*The strength of the base to hold the tank dimensions and its weight.
*Types of rocks and the base used to support them.
* Types of Substrate and quantity used.
*Total no. of plant species used and it’s quantity, and the uniqueness and importance of them.
* Types and amount of driftwood used.
*Details about the filtration system used; any new innovative methods developed or retained existing systems? Other than Anubias covered pvc pipes.
*Types of fertilisers used.
*Ph levels and temperature of local water and it’s moderation throughout the year, in comparison with citywide corporation water.
*All species of animals considered along with some idea behind having such a combination of animals, like micro and macro bacteria, fish, shrimps, snails, etc.
*More details of the lights used and it’s importance.
*And an introduction of all the team members and their contributions from a hobbyist / enthusiast perspective.
*An approximate cost which went into making such a grand setup happen.
There are some more points one could think of, but just wanted to share that everything matters.
This production could reach professional level if such details are openly shared on social media.
Only adds to the credibility of ADA, and all it’s proud customers who use their products in this hobby.
🙏
Don't expect anything from these idiots... They just want it do anything and call it masterpiece. The art and planning don't seems to the their cup of tea... It is really irritating to watch video without information...
Half of the commenters here didn’t watch the video till the end, watch the last 2 minutes. This aquarium looks amazing!
You have the duty to think for yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beautiful end result. Initially the setup looked so basic but over 1year it has just transformed so well. Would have loved to see some hardscape too in this setup. But great effort.
Intresting that the haven't used any driftwood in aquarium
I think it would benefit from a showcase fish. Maybe a school of angel fish or something along those lines.
Beauty 😍..i think driftwood have also should be added
Great work 🎉🎉🎉🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This is awesome, there should be another 4K version of it!
If you're an artist, you cannot be a successful business man selling people glass boxes with plants and fish. If you're a wise businessman, you lack the creative mind of an artist, but you make enough money to buy a fancy SUV. That's just how most businesses in India work. Kudos to them for making money in such an offbeat business.
Looks like the foreground plants have given up. 16:51 Neon tetra is dying as well🤭
Maintenance of this tank would be dam too difficult. I think a person need to get a divers kit for maintenance. I wish success for this project 👍
Great work Adip and team. I can only imagine all the maintenance efforts that have through in this past 1 year to make to look like what it is now
Ohhh so beautiful. The way the scape has come out is really beautiful, and can imagine the difficulty faced in installation of the beautiful tank.
In addition not to forget the maintenance effort if not wrong that too would have been provided by ADA India. All the best and wish you to break your own records
This work from still water aquatics is indeed a splendid job. The entire hardscape and plant scape is unique and giving a elegant amazon look. The variety of plants and fishes are just a jewel in the tank. Kudos to mr adip and sanjay urs conceptualising this beauty...
Beautiful creation ! and what a gigantic accomplishment ! Thanks for sharing such a well orchestrated event. A couple thoughts....Just from the sheer size and difficulty to access the bottom, i would have picked slow growing plants like Anubias nana petite and small leafed Bucephalandra varieties as the front ground covers, Something that is commonly overlooked in smaller set ups, but here, with this huge scale, they would be perfect !. Also, i feel the ball was dropped on this project, especially being in India. Here was a great opportunity to showcase Asia's LARGER sized varieties of aquatic species that can't be shown to their full mature size in smaller, more common tank sizes. Like the colorful Cryptocoryne family or the Aponogeton species that are low maintenance, yet are also perfect for thriving in a static design aquarium. One good thing about aqua-scaping, is the fact, there is always a "redo" in the future, so i hope you can achieve just some this vision of mine. Thanks again for posting ❣
What a tank . I just absolutely loved it. Kudos to team still water aquatics
How do you clean the foreground?? It's so deep
Is this sand blasted glass on the back and glass in the front or acrylic.
Looks like acrylic though?
Amazing work , Really makes me happy seeing that there are people who are willing to have such huge tanks in their homes from my country too.
Nice work...Takashi amano would have put a long slanting drift wood with plenty of needle java fern bunches...
Amazing Adip, Congrats to you and your team. Lot of effort and hardwork. It has come out so beautifully.
Sir how was the tank build? Glass or acrylic?
some discus or altum angels cud have reflected more of an amazon rainforest
Recreating nature at its best. Great work Adip and team.
Does this aquarium have undergravel filter plate?
A very bad copy of Florestas submersas...The foreground is so bad!
Can very well imagine the effort put in to create this. Great job done by the team. Though I couldn’t gather from the video the theme behind the aquarium. For me it looks massive where there are 3 sections with lot of plants. If we compare this with Amano San’s gallery with an aquarium of similar magnitude you clearly see a theme coming out of his creations. Would have loved to see the hard scape coming out in this scape and a carpet of Monte Carlo, Cuba etc.
Overall great effort and loved it.
Can anyone please let me know what is the name of the music playing in the background at the end last few minutes of this video please
Its a great project, But i dont think its on par with ADA standards.Poor plant choices i will say. Atleast a good maintenance needed before shooting the last scene.... MOSS in a huge tank...not the best choice...just a personal opinion.
what is the water temperature maintained?
What are those white striped fish . Some kind of danio? It's gorgeous
It is really a slice of Amazon river, No words to explain the beauty when it is matured, hats off to Still Water Aquatics for the great effort in making this beauty Keep it Up
Such beautiful craftsmanship and videography as well. Will look forward to a video on technical details especially tank specs, filtration, photo period, etc.
Thanks for sharing :)
Absolutely Amazing...😍
What is the tank size, length x depth x height?. How much mm glass is used and which glass?. How about bracing thickness?. Please guide. Tnq
overall cost and postcare expenditure?
Absolutely magnificent
How much does it cost to build one like this? what is maintenance cost per month?
Amazing... All the best👍
How can u supply co2 ..
Great work but not happy with lay out m fan off ADA nature equarium could have done fore ground much better by adding white sand nd some small stones along with big rocks tat will have creat some depth also hope u do beter in future...
Wat will be the cost to setup same size and design
Great work Adip and team still water aquatics. Would be helpful if you include the items used in the description. Could you kindly let me know the name of the silver shoaling fishes? It looks like a native species of Danio maybe? Kindly do let me know. Are you using sump filtration and also are you using any external heating cause it does tend to get cold there? Thanks and have a great 2022
The level of quality aquascaping Amano Sir and ADA japan is doing is lacking here. The hardscape was build as an Iwagumi but seems to have lost the original ideas. These are just plants growing in the wild with no theme or story behind it. Didn't expect this work from ADA india. I think you need to replant and redesign this scape.
Nice piece of work Adip. 👏
You are great as usual
Great work by ADA Team!!
Wow... Amazing 👌👌
Appreciate the hard work of all in achieving this beautiful result. Hoping to see many more such scapes in the country. Good job!
After watching this I am speechless 😶👏😱
Could Anyone tell that the total cost of this Beautiful Planted Aquarium ?
Just beautiful. An amazing feat.
How many gallons / liters?
Nice setup … looks like Amanos Sumida tank 🤪
how come hardscape changed from iwagumi to driftwoods ?
How much crore for this set up????
man that aquarium looks freaking awesome.
Amazing..
Need more such good regular videos if possible weekly 👍
I am enchanted by the magic of aquascaping. thanks for this movie! incredibly beautiful!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi, can anyone tell me the name of white color fish 16:05 and 17:07 time
Amazing 😍
The camera quality was not very good so the clip looks a bit dimm. Also the initial setup was not clear in the concept, resulting in somewhat chaostic layout. That’ s my opinion!
Great work, well done.
Many thanks!
Truly impressive guys, job well done.
Commendable
How can I get that sweet ADA jacket
this is awesome 👍👍👍
Wow this is like a dream tank for any aquarium lover.
Nice hard work, can latest pics or video of the complete tank be please uploaded. Thanks
This is absolutely stunning!
Lovely creation!! Regards from South Africa
Amazing work 🤙🤙
holy mama, Thats awesome!!!!!!
REALLY GOOD JOB 👍👌
Mind blowing
Simply WOW
I wish I could work with a team like this as a profession
Jabardast 👍
Amazing😍😍😍😍😍
Awesome as always
Really enjoyed
Glad you enjoyed
Not the same Level as the Japanese Aquascapes
A lot of good , hard work and skill gone into this. Unfortunately the end result was underwhelming and left me quite disappointed.
Cost
Impresionante….
some big driftwood trunks wud have been better too...
what is happening on the fore ground ??
absolutely nothing. it looks unalive
Great work sir! Must have had an amazing experience 😎
Thank you. :)
How much does it cost to build such an aquarium?
Excellent scape. Only a light screen would have made it better
Sir can I talk to you ...
I'm just over here thinking that the amount of ADA soil in that tank is probably worth more than my car
Its beautiful. I think it would be good to add a sheet of BLACK ABS plastic to the back of the tank (on the outside up against the wall so that all the fish and plants really pop).
masterpiece
This big scale.isnactually far easier than a nano scape .
Can anyone blow me with the cost of this project?
Congratulations
