Bali is 2 yrs old ,she's moving at her own pace however ,she's still moving ,
Her vocabulary is great ,she's very intelligent ..she's a naturally curious child as all are at her age and often said to do what they want ,when they want They gage all children on this. ..
One size fit all bases and it's insane..

You gotta ignore the people telling you that Bali not speaking full sentences is a problem. Most of these ppl are kids themselves and have never raised kids. Some kids are just later bloomers than other and is not always indicative of some disorder. She clearly understands very well. I'm willing to bet her verbal communication progresses dramatically over the next year. And like the doctor said, she could also be dealing with social anxiety. A lot of ppl don't realize how early social anxiety starts for kids.

Whenever she screams or cry when darker complexion talk to her just reassure her that everyone is the same just look different & guide her by talking to her directly with explaining just like animals , people come in all different ways and not laughing about it to confuse her. She could be a late bloomer. And yes, maybe she's more sensitive than other kids about people being around.
I don't know if she is spending a lot of her time on screens but this is very important to minimize the exposure to screens (this is an autism factor).
Also, reading her some stories before bed to boost her imagination and help her find symbolic figures to reassure herself (psychologically). The camera in her face also could increase her level of her anxiety.
It's important to multiply different types of activities : dance, gymnastic for her psychomotor development; cultural activities (read stories, painting, gardening).
I feel like your little girl needs more emotional support than your other kids. She's "a big girl" but she still very young and she needs words of affirmation like : "I'm here for you, it's gonna be okay...." (and without the camera) :)

My little sister is 16 and didn’t talk until she was 4. Now she’s totally fine and just graduated high school early. My mom and other adults kind of thought that my sister might’ve been on the spectrum, but she’s not. She’s just different.
Just incase make sure to get tests done. If there’s a big difference with how your first 3 children acted, you would want that confirmation. Especially if she has a separate dad, because neurodivergence could be passed on.
FYI I am not diagnosing anyone. As someone with an autistic cousin,it’s not the end of the world. He literally lives his life normal and it’s fine. He’s high functioning and it’s not stopping him from being normal.
God bless you & use your resources to give yourself that peace of mind and to help Bali adjust to the world.

Hey Mo! I have 2 daughters, 2.5 and 4 years old. My eldest was very fast with all milestones. She loves people and very social since day one lol! My second daughter cried and screamed and grabbed on to me for dear life if anyone looked at her or tried to touch and talk to her. I had family member joke that it must be because they are dark skinned. That couldn't be true because I saw it happen with all types of people. Eventually she grew out of it and now she is super friendly and loves meeting new people. She also didn't talk as quickly, or as much as her sister. I research and talked to her PCP. I got her tested and she passed. She mumbled words and sang in like a muffled voice. As her mom I could tell what she was saying or singing. Her doctor and Early Head Start teachers would just say wait it out and that they never heard of that. Well her dentist immediately said she has a tongue tie which restricts her tongue 's ability to lift by 50%. She referred me to a dental specialist and told me Pediatricians would try to have me wait it out because they don't have the same education as a dentist. The specialist took all of 60 seconds to show me my daughter had tongue, lip and cheek ties! This was making it hard for her to form words and chew. The procedure took 5 minutes and immediately I saw a difference. She could move her mouth and tongue more, was chewing food and suddenly was talking a lot. I would ask a dentist to check it out. Good luck!

Every kid develops differently, my son was having the same issues but now he’s mimicking a lot of words and is talking way more , he understands a lot too which I noticed Bali understands too so there’s nothing to worry about try reducing screen time and have her play with her toys more like getting her alphabet games and reading books to her every night she will be fine

Bali is still young. I would get a second opinion when she’s 5. Some kids move at their own pace. I once watched a kid with selective mutism. He spoke at 7🤷🏾‍♀️

I don’t think she should’ve said that because I take that serious cause I have a family member that have that being autism don’t have nothing to do with your talking sometimes it takes time to start talking. It’s probably just gonna take her some time they can rush her. My daughter do the same thing when she around other people she don’t know she’ll start crying. I was the same way when I was a kid and I turned out just fine. All kids are not to be the same and that’s what I don’t like

She’s normal w/a pinch of shyness. She’s just not ready to speak the way every one thinks she should. She’ll get better w/time.
And I noticed too a few videos back and now she must have a fear of dark complexion people esp w/thick long dreads. I can see the fear (no offense) but they can appear scary, hell even for me. Lol😂

Bali is as smart as any other kids I seen . & as a Momma myself , i definitely have certain thoughts . But at the end of the day no matter what , ours kids are a blessings and their here for us more than we expect

Autism has levels I get that you’re not trying to be harmful with this comment but it could come off as offensive, not all autistic ppl are mute,, it presents itself differently in everyone even with this behavior she could still have it she would just be higher functioning ,they would have to test intensively to truly diagnose her. Also “wrong” is such an icky word to use because autism is not wrong, she would just be different and that’s okay! But I agree she could very well just be a late bloomer, she just needs more social interaction, she seems shy.

Ain't shit wrong with her. I just need some discipline, that is it...... People love claiming these kids with this and that.. And these doctors put them on meds, making them sick... When all these kids need structure and discipline from the parents... Nowadays, these parents are scared to do it because they don't want they kids mad at em... Sad asf...

It’s not the wrong with her daughter she’ll grow out of it and just gonna take some time. She can’t rush her when she get older. She’ll start talking more my daughter, the same way my daughter only two years old and people be thinking she should be talking a lot because other kids be doing that and I’ll be like my daughter is not like her own person, please stop comparing other people kids not like she don’t understand her daughter because they won’t be judging her because she’s not talking like that right now

If she’s shy, that’s okay! If she has autism, that is also okay! I do notice a lot of behaviors that could indicate autism and you did have her when you were older which increases the chance for autism but honestly she could just be shy. If the doctors as of now say she doesn’t have it, then ignore internet diagnosers! Everything will be okay, every kid develops at their own pace! Also people trying to use autism as an insult should be ashamed like your ignorance is truly showing if you find that funny or have a negative association with autism, educate urself!
