I think the blonde would look good as a darker shade of blonde with darker makeup and the black hair with the makeup looks AMAZING on you. The black hair really does suit you.

Definitely. It just needs darker makeup because the light makeup with the blonde wig under this lighting makes everything look bleached out.
I agree a dark ash blonde would have been ideal on her olive skin. The blonde she was putting her head is mean more for Korean skin tones or really pale white women.
The blonde doesn’t look bad necessarily but the darker colors do look better on you and give you that wow factor. I think a honey brown would look good on you too.

The things ppl get wrong with color analysis is that the opposite colors look objectively good but they wear you, making you a little lost or waxy looking while the colors for you, you wear them so your face looks stronger and healthier. So your colors = main character, opposite palette = NPC.
Honestly, you look beautiful no matter what. Plus, you glow in your natural aura. 😊

Darker colors def bring out your features more, the warm look washes you out, but you can still live your blonde dreams! Platinum blonde, ash blonde, etc, it's just a matter of getting the yellow out so it becomes cool enough! Ashy browns are still around if that interests you, and you can always find blue-black, purple-black and red-black hair dyes if you want some color to come through in the sunlight :) At the end of the day, as long as you love it, that's all that matters

I learned about what colors to use and what kind of clothes to wear for my body shape, from a French youtuber many years ago. It's crazy how now is such a big thing in Korea. This is really good. Now they will more likely match their foundation to their actual skin color and not use two shades lighter.

People often say, "Where what _you_ like," & while I agree with the general sentiment, what _I_ like is what will enhance my looks as much as possible; especially since I prefer a light hand with the make-up anyway!
Doing the two looks one right after the other was *smart.* While the first look didn't look terrible, as soon as the first eyeshadow color for the second look was applied, the difference was obvious. It was much more flattering; even to the point that, if you need a look, but have to get out the door in 10 minutes, you could brush that on, throw on some light mascara, a little blush, a little lip, & be set for the day.

I think it's great for picking foundation (and blush maybe)...as for the rest, I think you can have some vibes or some themes for make up, different for summer etc...some might not be the "most fitted" but looks great and make you pop in a different way...especially if they are wigs, I would go with the mood. I know in my country we often think that the natural colour of your hair is the one matching perfectly your skin tone etc and that's what looks best on you...but it makes people less adventurous and not playful enough with makeup, clothes and hair in my opinion. but I understand people who might want their most fitted colours and look 'at their best'. Glad you like it at least! ❤

Tbh, when I first started watching your channel I was a young teenager and didn't know about makeup at all. I think you look good no matter what you wear. As I get older I understand how you look BETTER in cooler tones but you're so pretty I never really thought about it 😅 You've always reminded me of Beyonce in a way where you look good in whatever lol.
Amazing video to show the difference in colours! Winter all the way. Man I feel this....as someone who thought they were cool toned for a decade, only to find out I'm very warm toned upon getting colours done. Looking at my wardrobe and going how could I have been so wrong?! lol. It's such an adjustment to slowly change makeup/ clothes to the opposite undertone. I'm Team Spring. But at least now it makes sense why I loved dewy Korean foundation for years....as that works for my season over matte looks.

As a woman of color, I've never had my colors done. In my teen years, I looked at the few magazines that had POC and if their skin tone was similar to mine I'd try those colors. I rarely wore makeup. Years later, I discover mineral makeup (not Bare Minerals or Sheer Cover, too expensive). I loved it. It was inexpensive, they samples, product lasted a long time and looked great on me! Now that I'm older, I don't bother with makeup anymore, especially since I was a mask whenever I got out.
Megan, you might want to research using BAQ henna for your hair instead of a chemical dye. Since you have dark hair, you'd get reddish highlights. In my younger days I used it to dye my grey hair. Now I'm just letting it all go grey naturally.

I want to try the skincare. Your skin is flawless. I wore blonde that was the same color as my skin tone. NOPE! You definitely can wear blonde, but have to get the right color or it will wash you out. Key is a blonde darker or lighter than your complexion. And tbh both warm and cool tones look good on you, but I agree the cool tone was more natural. She's a great makeup artist.

I heard purple blushes are great. I use Maybelline Nude Nuance 657 lipstick as a blush and it gives my cheeks the cutest pink hue. 💞So yeah, knowing how colors mix with your skin tone is valuable if you like makeup.

I am not a big makeup user so this may be biased... but I think this whole warm and cold tone thing is a trend. And trends come and go. Do what you like to suit your mood, outfit, or time of year. I think warmer tones do suit you. I think the preference in which group some may say you fit it depends highly on cultural conditionings. Warm tones melt with your appearance, cold colours stand out.

You can always go with a dark brown if you want to lighten it up, but still keep it cool toned.
I feel she needs to consult with an American stylist that has hair experience with all ethnicities and hair colors and tones cause Korea can be a bit biased in terms of colors and fair skin they tend to box stereotype but Meagan is still a black woman who is still slightly melanated who needs some warm tones but not too overly cool tones to where she's going to look washed out.
@@Anonymous4212I think the hair was a bit stark, but the cool toned makeup was on point. She appears to have a cool or neutral undertone. With a cool undertone warm tones are not complementary regardless of your race or complexion, IMO.
@@mzprince4139I hear what you're saying but I personally do think that depending on your complexion certain colors compliment the skin tone like depending if you have Fair Olive medium tan Brown or a darker skin tone but that's just my opinion I personally have noticed that hair colors and makeup tones seem to work better depending on the undertones in your skin but I meant nothing biased in what I saying I'm not saying race has anything to do with it I'm just talking about complexion specifically or skin tones

As an artist that enjoys painting and drawing, I always choose the right colors for me :o I never thought of that as an issue but indeed it does help people to have someone help them out with that. The cool tones look great on you, whereas on me the warmer tones bring me to life, I always run from other tones bc the colors don't look right on me. 😂

To be honest, that first makeup with the blonde wig made you look white - and I mean white as the Wayan Brothers on the White Chicks film.
To me, you seem like a natural beauty who don’t have to wear makeup, but if you do, please stick with this dark winter purple palette.
