If you could only hire one bounty hunter, who would it be? And what would you pay them to do?
The Lore Master Cad Bane.
Kill Kathleen Kennedy, Johnson and the Story group.
The Lore Master
Boba Fett and I would have him hunt down any Imperial Officers in the Empire
Tim Bartsch I was just about to say that
I would have Jango to kill Rian
Cold Flame
Sorry
I figured it was due to money. I mean, imagine your a bounty hunter:
Rebels: we'll pay you 1 million credits to kill (insert Imperial officer name)
Once they get there.
Officer: The Empire has cleared me to offer you ten million credits in exchange for the location of whoever contracted you.
It's just business at that point.
SabreXio Its always more than just money a lot of the time. Part of it was reputation and reliability. Betraying less contracts always meant more future potential contract offerings as you could be trusted as a bounty hunter. More of the smaller time bounty hunter likely just went for who paid more but they didn’t have much to lose to begin with
So they went with the next best thing: Mercenaries
Cold Flame: We should have heird the Dimond Dogs. 😅
Real mercenaries such as Academi(formerly known as Blackwater) should be hired!!!!
The Expendables
Reiter Todes tell u what, Academi mercs are real and Expendables are made up.
Reiter Todes ok, and second no Star Wars Puns!!! >:-(
This is a very interesting topic to cover. In elementary school we always thought the bounty hunters were the bad guys but one Star Wars fan in my class stated their true allegiance is to money so they are actually neutral and will side with whoever pays them whether they are the bad or good guys.
At least Vader prohibited only disintegrations. The rebels probably would have restricted a lot more than that.
Ollanius Pius Good to see you here
Well yeah. They wouldn’t want to look exactly like the empire in how they fight.
Pretty sure he only said that so he could get Luke alive.
*No fun allowed*
Buba Fatt: "Aw man!"
my lord...is that _L E G A L?_
Roses Ske And the Jedi?
its only illigal if you get caught
"No but who cares"
-Palpatine probably.
I will make it legal
Rule #1: No Disintegrations
Rule #2: disintegrations are only allowed in self defense or against Jar Jar Binks
As you wish
I’m guessing the empire could have paid them to betray the rebels.
And the Rebels couldn’t have afforded them.
Lockjaw Wrong kiddo
3:01 when mark zuckerberg became bounty hunter
Because they were dirt poor.
Erndem Sterff Prederctions, and the empire had way too much money.
Not exactly. They had some wealthy backers. They could have reached out to certain wealthy people and say "We need 25K credits to hire someone to do a job we can't", and if the person asking was Princess Leia, the backer would probably make it happen.
I always thought that the biggest reason was because bounty hunters were too expensive. The rebels needed all the funds they could have in order to sustain themselves, so I always thought the rebellion just decided not to spend the money.
Nobody could out bid the Empire, simple as that.
Well if they did then a *bounty* would be put on the *hunter*
Fire Hazzard bountyception
The hunter becomes the hunted.
*badumtss*
Huh, I never knew Zuckuss helped the rebels in Legends, that's very fascinating. I recently did a video on Star Wars Adventures #11 where Zuckuss is in the issue. I hope the Canon expands Zuckuss' character in the future.
one of the stories involved him rescuing a band of rebels that had escaped Hoth but had run into trouble in the nearby asteroid field. Zuckuss and 4-Lom were originally going to sell them to the Empire but changed their mind
Great video bounty hunters are so cool. This is interesting and I wonder if this could be put into canon?
The Imperial peace keeping license is also a thing in Canon, so it's very likely the same rules applied as they did in Legends.
You might like, Star Wars - Legends: Tales of the Bounty Hunters
Nice video mate, but I never knew this. Never thought of it.
See? The Legend teacn you more of the Star Wars Universe. Canon was never be like this
+Alex Animation Ya Legends had forty to build itself up, where as canon has only had like three or four.
I read Legends.
Well theres alot of legend novels and this video was about in Legend. Maybe you didnt read all of them
Finally, one of my biggest Star Wars questions answered, thank you
Thank lore master I was always ask myself Why the rebels didn't hire to help them out. But thank to you NOW I KNOW.
Good guy Zuckuss
It's said he became a Rebel mercenary in exchange for medical treatment.
@@paulsteinhauser434
It's true.
Good informative video, this was a question that I've always wondered about.
👍👑 They were just afraid to go up against Vader
I am groot
yeah
You are groot
C Groot I am Christian
They didnt want to make him feel their lack of loyalty as disturbing
i am loot
Lest we forget one of the most prominent Bounty Hunters: Kyle Katarn [Dark Forces]- the original OG who stole the Death Star Plans and defeated the Dark Trooper project.
he was a merc not a member of the Bounty Hunters guild.
I feel like bounty hunters reputation are kind of slandered in this, most bounty hunters are pretty honorable, and hold standards for themselves, the ones that we saw in the movies like bossk, IG-88 and such, we're for the most part hired due to their efficiency
Now that you've said it i love the idea of there being a galactic version of the irs trying to audit giant slugs and dog men
Can you make a Star Wars Story like you discussing the story of Revan, Han, Kylo Ren, Chewie.
Pls do it.
Plz make a video of what rebels did with people who wanted to join them before they let them join?
Because if the bounty hunter is hired by the rebels and maybe they can Help the empire locate the Rebel base and would paid the boynty hunter double
Great one!
I always toughts was because their services (more if is a very veteran bounty hunter) are very expensive and the alliance being poor probably preferred to send their own troops to those missions instead of sending a ruthless mercenary that could reveal information of his contractor if is captured or the empire offer him a better deal.
I recalled correctly, some bounty hunters were rebels themselves and the money they earned goes to the Rebel Alliance.
So using the same logic why did some many bounty hunters work for the CIS instead of the republic during the clone wars???
Matt Howe Jedi would most likely disagree with the use of bounty hunters
Because cis was far more powerful than the rebels and owned planets
The Rebels were very lucky to have Zuchus be sympathetic to them.
I am a big fan of your channel
Damn learned something about Zuckess never get to hear too much on him interesting
Tbh I thought the only answer was that they couldn't afford it 😂😂😂 But at the same time i feel that the empire would've been too overwhelming for those bounty hunters so they would eventually become imperial criminals like u said. Also, didn't Dengar and others help the rebellion in the battle of Jakku?
Keep making these videos
So it’s kinda like John Wick, you broke a rule you die
Star Wars.
Even making Bureaucracy a fun thing to think about.
Cuzz Sheev and Vader got that Bank flow aka outbid ed every time
Good video 👍
This really explain why we never seen bounty hunters with rebels.
Can someone give me the link to download this image of darth vader and the bh's? It would be awesome as my wallpaper
Nice video
But why would they?
Nos imagine Bobba Fett, Cade Bane, IG-88, Embo, Bossk, and some other dudes waiting in line at the Imperial Galactic DMV for their bounty hunting licenses
Who to think
Video on who Zuckuss is?
Money
I got a Question. How did the star wars universe conduct the trade of welding? We see all types of Dura Steel structures being constructed, but not how they make the metalic glass(plastic metal) become one piece. Please let us know how it is done and thanks
If I was a bounty hunter, I’ll definatly be like Zuckus.
This makes me wonder; what happened to the bounty hunter profession after the civil war?
Bounty Hunting was and always will be present.
Dash Rendar is like the Red Hood of Star Wars. 🙄
They didn't hire them because they were cruel???Man these people were killing Imperials that were unarmed or offduty without second thinking. They blew up entire Battlestations and Star Destroyers full of people that were innocent workers
Templar S those are military targets and are perfectly acceptable
Templar S Exactly.
they were still people doesn't matter which side you're on YOURE STILL A PERSON
Rainbow DashEXE they knew the risk of working in a military facility
@@jasonskeans3327 So what difference does it make if a bounty hunter did that?
Can you explain what rebal's did to bounty hunters
What if circus was hired by the rebels and why was he on Vader s Star destroyer? In empire strikes back
i just thought they where scared that they would tell the secrets of the rebelion to te empire for some money
Any idea how much the new heros in Battlefront 2 will cost? (Btw wonderful video as always)
4 if you are talking about the clone wars season
+Gamer King, my question was phrased all wrong. I meant how much will they cost? I hope at least 20k.
probably like the previous ones
I see.
Are these pictures from comics? And it should still be easy for a bounty hunter to spend credits without their bount I’d right? because unless someone knows them personally they can still blend in public right? Or did all citizens need identification to spend credits? Then it would be known them being bounty hunters
Zuckuss is badass
Because it's too easy. What if General Grievous was a sith lord and took over the galaxy?
You forgot to mention that after Boba Fett was hire to tear apart the Bounty Hunting Guild and by the time of TESB, and Shadows of the Empire comic, novel, and video game. Nearly 30% of all bounty hunters and Mercs were working for or with the Rebellion.
Hunter, " This bounty is worth 50,000 credits."
Imperial Officer, " Be grateful you are given 5,000 credits, trooper remove the hunter from my office now please."
Boba would honestly destroy the empire by himself. He took down his first star destroyer at 10, killed cad bane at about 15, knocked down vader and chose to spare him and killed shittons of jedi.
Zucus is the god dam best! Well boba fett is but zucus is my fav
I was thinking they didn't because the rebels couldn't pay them enough but the empire could
I would hire Jango Fett, to deal with two of my traitorous friends, and those close to them.
Is the twei lek girl Oola or someone before her
Throwing in with bounty hunters now?
Oh how the mighty Sith have fallen..
When’s the next top 10??????
Why wasn't Cad Bane cloned for the Grand Army of the Republic? (Fourth time)
I wonder if that’s at all close to why they didn’t do it in canon...
I like the moral ambiguity of legends
Wait weren’t most of the bounties put up by Cartels technically illegal? Because I know for a fact that the Hutts Pykes and Blacksun had fuckloads of them
Wai they hired ZUCC?!
Bobba Fett, i don't know if 300,000 is enough to pay him for smuggling my cargo in Tatooine...
Putting laws on outlaws
Interesting 🤔
I LOVE YOU SINCE 2014🔥❤
cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good Guy Zuckuss
Neat
legends are canon for me. i love legends. i love your channel.
Didn't the Rebel Alliance Fleet rely on Privateers significantly? Privateers as in civilians who operated in a paramilitary role who were given authority to harass, attack, destroy, and seize shipping and operations being used by the enemy force, essentially legitimized pirates. In the case of the Alliance, the privateers were allowed to operate against the Galactic Empire.
"There are no bounty hunters here, the Geonosians don't trust them"
Because the rebellion was so good they didn’t need them to beat the evil empire
Is it just me pr is it ironic that you and lore guy real the same video on the same day?
I would hire Bossk and pay him to kill Luke Skywalker
J Garrett I would hire someone to kill bossk
Obi-Wan Kenobi why would go against you? Beside bounty hunters creep me out. Also toxic grenades are illegal that's why I'd get rid of bossk and trandoshans are slavers.
My first assumption was that Bounty Hunters were too expensive to afford for a job
Sho basically the reason was money?
I hope the Resistance does
The Resistance was dirt poor so they had no chance.
An Anonymous Guy Who Comments Leia is rich, remaining Senators are rich, and there's a leak that the Resistance forms an alliance with criminals such as the Hutt Clan, they will be the ones to pay the bounty hunters, they are low in number of soldiers but have a lot of resources
Darth Troller The Resistance is as dead as Luke Skywalker and Supreme Leader Useless.
Now Emperor Emo won't let anyone do anything.
King Edward "Longshanks" I, Hammer of the Scots, Lord of Wales and King of England Luke inspired hope and Mary Sue is here, and Snoke is the only one who can harm Rey, and he's dead
I hope the Resistance is utterly decimated by Starkiller Base II
So the rebels didn’t hire many bounty hunters in legends, but is the same said in canon?
My favourite lightsaber is Anakins
This isn't The Stupendous Wave's channel where there's an eternal giveaway.
King Edward "Longshanks" I, Hammer of the Scots, Lord of Wales and King of England oops my apologises
Inka.
Because if they couldnt get boba fett then what would be the point imagne if they got boba fett on thier side they would have turned in solo in a instant if they could have boba fett for hire
If Zuckuss worked with the rebellion then how come the empire hired him to hunt down the Millennium Falcon? Did he work for both the rebellion and empire?
It was during his hunt for the Falcon that he first got involved with the Rebellion. He was suffering from lung problems, IIRC, and the Rebels saved him. This convinced him to finally change sides after a long time sympathizing with them
Coral_Bluesquall it took 2 years to get a reply. Thanks lol. What’s the source of this if you know?
I thought that the rebels didn't hire bounty hunters because they were too expensive.
Kto z polski?
domtom 7 ja
You can speak polish that's cool.
Fear the Imperial IRS! They could have gotten around this by opening an Imperial Nail Salon on some Imperial backwater world as a money laundering front and pay their taxes on time.
Very restrictive but hey, a bounty is a bounty
MONEY!!!
