"Hallelujah" Police Version

- With the help of a few friends, we were able to rewrite the song “Hallelujah” written by Leonard Cohen, into something that is so close to our hearts. As LOEWs ourselves, we see what our spouses and all others go through on a day to day basis. Being a spouse of an officer is not the easiest of jobs. Some days we break down, we miss them, we eat alone, and we fear that they may never walk through the door again. But no matter how we feel, they have an even bigger worry. They get hate, they get spit on and mocked. These men and women lay their lives on the line day in and day out. They miss their families, they miss holidays, birthdays, and important moments.. but through it all, they gear up and fight a fight that not many would do. I wanted, through this song to bring a scene of exactly what they face. So close your eyes and truly listen to these heartfelt words. and most importantly, Enjoy!! :) Also, Huge credit to Leonard Cohen as the original writer of Hallelujah. #BackTheBlue #ThankAnOfficer #PoliceHallelujah

My husband, his daughter and her husband are police officers. I don't think most understand the sacrifices they and their families make each day they walk out that door to protect even those who hate them. I may only be 13 years old, but I support the thin blue line HEAVILY. This song brought tears to my eyes as my uncle was a deputy sheriff for 12 years. I not only respect them and this song, but honor them, too. o7 to those who have passed along in the line of duty, and thank you for those who are still risking their lives for us, it is tough in the world right now and ya'll are not getting the respect you need. But I am here to say I appreciate all officers in the world. Thank you all for your service. God bless you all and may he be with you.

I just want to say my dad was in the military, and yes he is alive, but I do thank you for making both a military and a police song. I have friend's that are police officers, and I hope to one day become a police officer myself. Your a great person, and I do hope you keep making videos. You do have a very lovely voice.

Very great song, and I am glad someone finally made one for the police, because the police do deserve a lot of respect for everything they do.
Cops do their best to protect and serve. And would say that exact same shit about Military? Because the military kill women and children, but they are following order's to do it. COPS follow order's as well, and if people actually treated the cops like human beings and everything unlike a lot of people do not just black's or poor people, but white's, Asians, Japanese, Chinese. Everyone disrespects cops at some point, and if they didn't disrespect cops then maybe they wouldn't of been treated like they were by the cops. So before you even say that there is EVIDENT police brutality and cops killing blacks, and poor people just because they're black and poor maybe you should get all the facts first, and not just go by what the hell the news says. Because whose to say the people that the cops SUPPOSIBLY abused, and killed that were blacks and poor maybe they shoot at someone, and got rid of the gun, but do you see that on the news no. SO get the facts first before YOU EVER and I mean EVER say stupid shit like you did man.
Yes I am talking about US cops, because in the US a lot of people kill cops for doing their jobs, and all that and yeah. It's sickening, and even when people don't kill cops they still disrespect them on so many levels.

Thank you for this beautiful and uniquely "blue" version. It struck me as I heard this that I was listening to the spouse's perspective and how closely it intertwines with a LEO's perspective.
