I lost my Dad suddenly at 20 years old from a sudden massive heart attack, now almost 20 years later, I can't help but to think about her and that heart-wrenching pain you go through when something so sudden, so unexpected happens. Losing a loved one is the worst pain anybody can ever go through.

My name is Jimmy. I'm a U.S Air Force Staff Sergeant. I know you and your family are going through a lot of pain and loss right now, and I want to first extend my deepest sympathy and condolences for your loss.
Second, I want to tell you how I found your channel. I never saw you on TV and I know very little about you at all and I consider myself more spiritual than religious. However, as you can probably imagine, I see some pretty difficult things in my line of work and when some days are especially dark I'll seek out music to keep the monsters at bay, some nights I just can't fall asleep and I stay up and let calming music play on CZcams, specifically this song has always resonated with me for some reason... well... In January a few nights after you posted this video was one of those nights, I just couldn't sleep so I sat in my living room and searched through CZcams a bit. CZcams matched this video with similar music that I had listened to in the past and as a result I spent probably the next day with your channel on repeat and probably went through most of your videos at some point or another. I appreciate you being there for me.
I'm so incredibly sorry that your sister is no longer with us, you both helped me through a hard time and I know she's somewhere smiling right now knowing that.
Please don't stop singing. You have an incredible talent you need to share with everyone around you, regardless the song. Your whole family is just incredible and you all need to share what you have.

I have just come across Genavieveâs channel in the last couple of months. I knew her sister had been in a bad accident but I didnât know sheâd passed until yesterday when the âI lost my sisterâ video showed in my feed. Then strangely enough someone I know thru my church suggested the tribute video to me. It was very emotional but uplifting. I also consider myself to be more spiritual than religious, after all anybody can be religious but you must have a relationship with the Lord to be spiritual. My family and I have had more let downs, disappointments, losses, financial problems, health issues, etc in the last couple of years than we can handle. Hearing both these sisters talk about their faith and trust in God has helped me to open my eyes and my heart to see the true and most gracious God. Corinnâs life and legacy will live on for years to come in those she helped draw closer to the cross. I want to be like that. Your family is in my deepest prayers!
Jimmy Brown ~~ I realize this may not be the best place for this comment but I didnât know any other way to contact you. This is totally off the topic of Corinn so please forgive me. My 18 year old son, Isaac, just joined boot camp at Parris Island last Monday March 18th. Of my two children he is the first to leave our little nest. The absolute one thing that has bothered me the most by far over him being in the military and possibly being in actual combat at some point in his career is that he will not give God a chance to work through him. Isaac has been through some things in his young that have traumatized him to the point where he had nightmares so he was afraid to sleep. I want to be able to show him how to rely on our Lord, how to trust that whatever happens God will never leave or forsake him. I need him to have the faith he needs to know that God is with him through this journey we call life. The military life can be hard on some soldiers as Iâm sure you well know this already. Being in the military now for so long do you have any suggestions for me that will help me help my son become more faithful, trusting and just loving the Lord so much that he would feel free to witness to others? He may sense a longing for home, a non-millitary affiliated community, etc. The military has Chaplains available, and finding a church on/near base shouldn't be difficult. Let God do his work... pray for your boy, but let him walk in his own 2 feet (as he is capable)- watch and observe.

Been a Pastor for years and somehow I just felt like nothing made sense, I watched this video (without knowing about your sister) and wept listening to your combined voices... THEN I saw your video about you losing Corinn and what did me in was your willingness to let God's will to be done... NO MATTER WHAT. I then listened to your other videos while in the car and I wept all afternoon knowing that I was at a dark place but now there was light!!
THAT was inspirational to me and I rededicated my life to the Lord today!! So, in case you read this, you know that Corinn helped to save at least ONE life today...somehow though, I doubt that I'm the only one. Your spirit is amazing and wonderful and inspirational. The loss of a loved one is a hard pill to take, and some people need a way of finding a reason for that to happen. Some people would be destroyed if they lost their religion, and it's not their fault they learned to cope with life in this particular way.

The beauty of a song like this, is that they can be interpreted in so many different ways. Depending on who is listening and what they're going through. Whether religion was intended or not. As long as it can help get one through their struggles, there is nothing better than that.
The fact that the two of you sang this with God's voice spewing from your lips and to the world...I can see that even though this song was not originally intended to be interpreted this way, you made it so.
Knowing that Christ gave his life for us, to bear the burden of our sins - past, present and future - I believe Corinn's last song before departing was praising the gift God had given us. That Christ had given us.

I also want to thank your family for being so generous and kind during a time of immense grief. I have a friend who's son went on the transplant list for a heart at just a few months old. He was so sick and given 90 days max to live. His little body was completely blue and shutting down when they received the gift of a heart at 89 days. He actually coded on the table and they were able to save him. He brings joy to everyone he meets. Thank you so much for sharing your sister's honor walk.
