Hello @Google !
Calendar is my least used Google app but this video has encouraged me to explore it more. The short-cut functions are fantastic and the summary here a perfect way to discover them. Thanks.
You are very welcome! Thanks for your comments.
Your videos have really helped me use the calendar and tasks programs to stay organized and confident, thank you. I can actually follow your instructions. One thing about the shortcuts, I needed to go into settings and enable shortcuts first.
I'm so glad that you've found these videos helpful, Christine. And yes, thanks for the reminder that some users may have to go and turn these on in Settings.
Thank you for the memory jog! 3:12 A long time ago-in an account I no longer use, I had a 3 week view. I didn’t remember how I had made it visible! Now I can get that back in my main calendar!
So glad to hear this. Thanks for sharing!
Great tips, thank you
You are so welcome!
Hi, Scott. Another excellent and useful video. Congratulations!
I'm so glad you enjoyed this one. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for teaching.
You are most welcome!
Normally I have the week view on. However It shows all days in the week even if those days has pasted. I learned that in the custom view I can set the calender up, so I see 7 days but ONLY from today and forward. That is a very usefull tip :) Thank you Scott.
Now I just need to find out how to remove "none working hours". No need to have time in the calender between 02-06 AM.
Thanks so much for sharing. I'm so glad you found this useful. As for hiding non-working hours, you may find this extensions helpful: chromewebstore.google.com/detail/hide-morning-in-calendar/oaikandahkibeihnampagmegnpfefhca
@@SimpletivityThank you.
Cool. Thank you!
You are very welcome!
Another great video. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for sharing these golden tips.
You are so welcome! Which tip did you like the best?
@@Simpletivity The tip to change the views using numbers.
I was never told about that(and I bought my first PC in '82).
I loved it very much.
And there's no way to forget it because is very simple.
Yes, this tip was new to me as well. So glad that it was helpful!
This was fun...I followed along on my calendar. Those short cuts have been here all along and had I known I would of kept up with using the calendar.
Is there a short cut key for knowing what lotto numbers will hit?
I'm so glad that you found value in this video. As for the lotto numbers, I'll keep looking!
Do you mostly use google calendar and apps or outlook and 365?? As always, I find a lot of great techniques and value in your videos. Thank you. Ever think of doing a Series geared towards real estate agents??
Personally, I use mostly Google apps for both my business and personal use. And thank you for the real estate suggestion. I realize I do have a lot of viewers within this industry.
Is there a particular topic you'd like me to address?
this is fantastic
So glad you think so!
We have all these amazing tools and Google Calendar can do so many things but yet you cannot change the font color on the Google Calendar app so you can see the words. It’s very hard to see the tiny white letters on a background unless you use super dark colors, which is overwhelming also.
Very useful tips. Thank you.
You are welcome! Which shortcut will you be using next?
@@Simpletivity All of them as I have not used shortcuts before even though I have been using Google Calendar for more that 10 years., You saved me so many clicks. Thanks again.
So glad to hear that. All the best with getting around Calendar that much faster!
woooow. i feel so retarded for not knowing this. 6 for year view, then 2 for week view is such a time saver. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
You are so very welcome!
Does this apply to mac? I tried the command key but I am doing it wrong
Yes, these should all be the same on Mac. However, you may need to enable shortcut commands within your Google Calendar settings. Here's how:
On your Mac, open Google Calendar.
In the top right corner, click on Settings (gear icon).
Look for the section titled "Enable keyboard shortcuts". Make sure it's checked.
Does this apply to app in android
No, they do not.
