The best part of these is the guy's reaction to Mike O'Malley. When he goes off, and he's on his game, it's hilarious.
Zach should be able to do a Guts style competition for the chance to get a 1st overall pick
Definitely a major malfunction on Alyson's harness for the Crag event, they coulda had a strangled kid there for a moment, that's why they radioed up and made her stop. Feel bad for her, not like she had a chance anyways but her harness seems to have come undone from the hook behind her shoulders at the very beginning which threw off her whole attempt.
Yeah, I’m not sure if the equipment broke or the person in charge of keeping the rope taut just completely failed to do their job. You can see them in the background during the podium celebration looking at the rope trying to figure out what went wrong. But yeah she missed the first actuator before anything went wrong and at that point you’ve already lost.
Not just a choke situation but also a fall all the way down/off the mountain situation lol. Nickelodeon got lucky that day.

Harness was supposed to attached on the back and looked more like a loose dog collar around her neck that she almost slipped out of at the end

I think there's a loophole in the "Zack has nothing to trade" conundrum. Zack could trade his current player -- not for a future draft pick, but for giving Jimmy or Jake the right to force Zack to trade his player to them at the deadline in a future episode. Maybe you put a cap on how many episodes that forced trade is good for before it expires, like 2 or 3.

How did you guys miss the equipment malfunction? when Allison stops at the beginning nothing hits her in the face, her bungee cord slipped up around her neck and was around her neck for the rest of the AgroCrag! Total BS, but I’m ok with it bc my husband picked her, I had purple 😉 These are amazing guys, please keep ‘em comin!

This was the 9th episode of Guts recorded and it was also the 9th episode broadcast in its original run, a rarity as the episodes generally aired out of production order.
This was my favorite show as a kid in the 90s, followed by legends of the hidden temple and then Rockos Modern Life.
I had dreams about the agrocragg and I remember it being bigger. But that might have been later they might have remade it larger. I also had dreams about getting taken by the temple guard specifically at that one wall that turns around.
I'm missing the obstacle course with whether or not the kids go high or low through the elastic jungle. Also the bike race with the Tipping Tubular Tunnel.
You know what if any competitor is winning by 200 points or more by the time they reach the crag, its impossible to loose at the end unless they come third, cause 725-550 is only 175. I think the points for that mountain shoulda bee something like 200, 500, 800, not some random 725 lol
It's done to prevent ties. However it does make the event anticlimactic since if the top person is leading by 200 or more it is pretty much over.

You mentioned the mouthguards, I was thinking about that a couple weeks ago, like... if they just pulled these kids out of the crowd, did they form mouthguards for them? Like someone had a kettle on in the back? Or did they just give them all a stock mouthguard and jam it in their mouths?
There is no way that Guts had the budget for a kettle.
I was busy when i saw that there was another episode of guts. So naturally i sat down and watched. GUTS take precedent.!!😅😂😅😂

Nickelodeon game shows were weird in that they did not edit anything out. Like Allison missing the lights and taking forever. They should've edited it out and just fast forward to the end but no. They gotta show her doing the entire climb and show the crowd's quite reaction to it waiting for her to finish.

I didn't get to watch these as kid growing up in Canada. We had "Kid street" instead, which ran from 1987 -1992.

I think you guys think that trading makes this more interesting, but honestly it would be more interesting if you just stuck with whatever you have. It makes the whole idea of you all rooting for someone and sticking with them completely moot.
