Excellent performance ! I am surprised at my own ignorance about this great artiste ! She lived till 1996 and I never heard live performance ! Missed a lot of! It’s sad that for the music lovers of my generation vocalists from Maharashtra began from Kishori Amonkar and ended with Ashwini Deshpande !

I am listening this raag since 45 years .Then it was radio. Vidhushi Manik Varma top most achievement is she has given her best in clasical,semi clasical,Natya Geet,Bhakti Geet ,Film son and Bhav geet. She has left this mortal world 25 years ago. She is immortal in music which is ever enriching.
