Legit, the other day I was looking around Google for an emulator of the Moonbase Alpha text-to-speech, found one, found the original commands for all the songs and I just went all out with them. I remembered every single one (of the OG commands, that is, such as Whalers On The Moon). Even messed around with the OG commands and made some parodies, just so I could laugh to meself. Such good memories.

This game is a huge steps backwards from what L4D was for that game had memorable and likeable characters, awesome special infected like the witch and tank, even great maps like dead carnival and no mercy I think this game was just made by a bunch of newbie devs that didn’t know what to do in making a game as amazing as the L4D series

Really needs a difficulty between Recruit and Veteran, or some kinda customizable difficulty that adjusts rewards based on how difficult you made it

Its almost as If they completely failed to balance the game. You should never feel the need to change the difficulty every level to get a remotely even difficulty curve.
Nah, the game needs a difficulty between Veteran and Nightmare, Nightmare is almost unplayable compared to Veteran.
Nah play 3 missions on recruit and veteran is easy as balls until the last mission of Act 3.
It's almost like the AI "director" in B4B doesn't do anything to make the difficulty dynamic. It got dumbed down to make room for the card system.

2 years later - dead game, no modding scene, abandoned, in no way shape or form was it ever a successor to L4D2 or the franchise, it just showed how hard Valve carried and worked on that game and how bad TRS are

From everything I’ve seen about B4B, it just doesn’t have that “thing” that L4D(2) had. One thing I noticed is the stamina bar, which I dislike, I loved being able to swing a melee weapon wildly as much as I wanted, and the horde just doesn’t seem as fun to take down. Not saying B4B is bad, but I’ll still prefer L4D

B4B is a good game on it's own. Calling it "The next L4D" is wrong. B4B and L4D are separate franchises and shouldn't be compared to each other

@@collinholmes6872 yup, so @Jacket there’s a reason why I was making the comparison, because there is a link to them, and even if it wasn’t linked by the same team, you could clearly tell it was meant to be the spiritual successor
Polar opposite for me. If you run the right cards you can basically have an infinite melee build which can heal and speed you up btw. A lot of people find this game boring because they don't want to put time and effort into it no offense. They don't really give it much of a chance and just calling "boring". Once you beat the Campaign on Recruit and then move on with the same squat to veteran that's where the fun starts. Especially when you start getting good cards. The only issue I see with this game is generally the PVP mode. It's longetivity is ass compared to Versus back in the day. Unless they pull maps out of their ass every month. It's gonna get stailer than chips
I now understand how they made it past the first mission, "friendly fire is off". They played boat mission on recruit as well.....
