I agree with the being loaded part. But, he say's "Detroit, we'll see you soon!" at the end of the show. That's not something one would say if you plan on killing yourself in an hour. I would bet he got some of the same shit that killed Prince.
volvoplz yea.. for signings. And then he went to his hotel and hung himself. probably because he realized he is one of the last greatest artists out there. Music is dead these days it seems.
Kaitlyn Lee Hagar it's hard to consider rock musicians as celebrities though. They're more grounded in the way that they live like a normal person would if the suddenly got rich wheras other types have an air of superiority.
Kaitlyn Lee Hagar same here! Celebs death usually goes in one ear and out the other. But not this guy. I always liked sound garden just fine. Certainly not my favorite band. But the amount of respect i have for Chris Cornell. He has always been at the top of my list. Amazing talent. Gone for ever. But I know that I'll never get tired of hearing what he's left for us. God bless him and his family
Ok, you can have an opinion Caroline Smith but you don't have to be rude or disrespectful. This man just died in a tragic way as well. Your attitude is crap, and so is your taste in music. Now, quit stinking up the place.
The haunting sound of the guitar fade out....I cannot imagine how the people at that concert are feeling today, but I know how I do. Soundgarden was supposed to be in my town this weekend. Will take a some time to get over this. R.I.P. Chris~

My 12 year-old-son and I saw them two weeks ago in Atlanta. I'm pretty sure Chris sang the lyrics to "In My Time of Dying", here he seems to chant them like Jim Morrison. Very eerie! RIP Chris.
He's done it for at least a couple years. He's also done The Doors, PJ, Nirvana, and the Doobie Brothers during the interlude of this song going back to the 90s

Down on the Upside was the CD I had on repeat in 1996 when I was just starting my professional career. It will forever be tied to my metamorphosis from clueless young adult to the man and husband I am today. I am going to blast that entire album tonight, hug my kids and cry.
I pray that Chris Cornell is able find the peace and happiness in the hereafter that he was unable to find on earth. Prayers for his family, friends and fans for we are left with the question of why.
them including the lyrics to "In my time of dying" is not a new Soundgarden thing whatsoever... they have been doing that for a while.... just this time... its a little different.... :(
Exactly RedRose7997, a lot of Soundgarden's songs mention suicide. I, like a lot of fans are desperately waiting to see what the toxicology says. There's a million and one reasons why he could have done this. He could have been chronically ill and hadn't told anyone, could have been upset, could have had a huge panic attack and in that moment he felt overcome. Maybe we'll never know. Gosh he was so beautiful.
just a few days ago I was wondering myself, how would he sound when he'd be in his 60s or even 70s.... :( This morning was sad and melancholic to me... I really cried
that voice will forever be missed. The crowd was blessed to hear it live for one last time. Thank you Chris, and thank you to the uploader for sharing this unforgettable moment.
How are you doin, bru? I find myself listening to Mind Riot and Searching with My Good Eye Closed from time to time..."Stop I'm trying to bruise my mind I can do it on my own, stop you're trying to kill my time it's been my death since I was born... I don't remember half the time if I'm hiding or I'm lost but I'm on my way" last I checked that is pretty BAD A$$
Man... Let the conspiracy theories flow... Unless he sang this at several shows prior, id say that its highly suss that he would sing this on the night that he dies...
Joshua Black Kara C Cheers for the heads up. friendly chode hahaha, nice name. As for the suspected suicide, I dunno. saying that kind of crap gets a lot of views/likes/what have you. I'll believe it when the proof is undeniable. For now its just sad and odd.
Music is therapy. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent. May you find your peace and comfort. My prayerful thoughts for your loved ones. Please be kind to everyone you meet...you never know what someone is dealing with. Be the good in the world and believe in the goodness in the world.
Incredible video and performance! Makes us feel like we were there together from this fantastic camera view and most importantly is now a BIG part of the rock history. Too bad this had to end like this. And so sad to see a happy Mat Cameron after throwing his stuff to the public and leaving with funny moves without knowing what was going to happen in the next hours. Big thanks to the uploader. Your video is a slice of history.
Almost 5 billion years into this planet's history and we were lucky enough to share our speck of time on it with him in it!! Truly thankful to have been entertained by him musically!! Thoughts and prayers for his family, as well as all of those who considered him part of their family!!
I think he's being pretty clear here about what's going on. I mean I've been listening to his lyrics all day over the years and there were many messages to his torment in the songs. I guess I always thought he had the gift of relating sadness while still having his shit together. But no, he was putting all his misery in his art this whole time.
Man O man....this is just killing me listening to this. I don't think I have ever seen anything quite like this given the circumstances. Just so heartbroken for him and his loved ones
I was lucky enough to be at this concert. Still in shock. Woke up the next morning with this song still ringing in my ears and finding out Chris had hung himself was disturbing in every sense of the word. Great concert too btw rip Chris Cornell
damn I was at work and found out on my instgram. I couldn't believe it. It's weird I felt like vomiting it's like losing someone that's been really close too you. I'm glad I've got to see garden a couple of times and temple of the dog last year. RIP Chris Cornell
It's been 5 months today without Chris...damn it seems like yesterday. We all miss you dearly. I was going to see Soundgarden in Houston. It makes me sad that I will never get to see Chris in concert. I'm only 14, no one my age understands this kind of music...The day he passed I was at school crying my eyes out and to everyone else it just seemed like a jolly old normal day. Gosh...it just sucks so much that Chris isn't here anymore. Rest well man.💔
My brother-in-law had tickets to the St. Louis shows this weekend and I was going to go. Would have been my 1st time seeing Soundgarden and 1 of the greatest voices in RnR history. RIP Chris Cornell
Damn Ed, I'm sorry to read this, at least you had the chance to see him at his best, playing and signing like a true legend. RIP Chris, we will miss you so much.
ed slott: this video was from my vantage point - the girl in the pink sweater standing on her seat near the end was right in front of me. I thought the same thing - it kept getting louder and louder and louder - unbelievable ending but not the most unbelievable ending of the evening. Just stunning to me that he performed that whole show then did what he did moments later. No words for it.
From now on, this very video will remain one of the creepiest live performances in the history of rock and roll. RIP Chris... Thanks for the great music!
I've seen him perform last year, although it was just him and it was an acoustic show, I can barely recognise him in this video. His motion, his voice, his look, seems like a completely different man. You never know what any of us keep inside so just remember to be there for each other and honour Chris by living right and passing the incredible torch of his music on to future generations. For there will sure be none like him ever again
Chris Cornell, my all time favorite vocalist, poet, musician, charismatic man, and was the sexiest man alive. My heart is broken. He has helped me through some of the darkest most depressive states in my life. I kept waiting and waiting for him to come to the northwest, but he didn't. I will never be able to see my favorite musician perform live in front of me. The sadness that I am experiencing is beyond words which could be expressed. I thought I was sad when Jerry n Kurt died...This is a horrific event. His children will NEVER get over the death of their father. Yesterday was one of the saddest moments I can remember. I've been his fan from the beginning to the end. So much gifted talent, wasted and gone way too early. The world will never be the same without him in it.
To be one of the lucky ones to have seen that show...I'm soo glad I caught them on there last few tours coming through Boston. "Knights of the Sound table" ride eternal!!! (From Chris' post right before Soundgarden re-united a few years ago). Man, I will miss Cornell's brilliance, talent, and good nature. One of the true greats!!
Ahhhh, my hero, my idol, Chris Cornell. Why?I was with my friends, watching funny videos in Tumblr, that's when they scroll to the left...There I see the post that brought tears to my eyes:Your death. You really made me crack a smile when I was feeling depressed. You pulled me out of that hole with your poetical lyrics that were so powerful to me, so powerful that I'd even try to decipher the meaning of the lyrics to your beautiful music. Thank you Chris.Thank you so much.I really hope this is all some twisted nightmare.Hopefully, when I go to bed in my 'room a thousand years wide', I wake up to find out you're fine.May god take care of you...You're in good hands and we're 'preaching for you till the end of the world'.I love you, man.Take care.👏😰😭😥
When he leaves stage he is holding his head he knew what he was going to do and that it was going to fuck people up the whole thing is just eerie rip man we will miss you
I took my 9 year old two weeks ago to see them in Atlanta... so glad I did... my son got so much attention being the only kid there... he cried today too.
SLAVES AND BULLDOZERS LYRICS: Every word I said is what I mean Every word I said is what I mean Everything I gave is what I need Virgin eyes and dirty looks On what I have and why I took Counting all the hands I shook
Every word I said is what I mean Every word I said is what I mean Everything I gave is what I need Virgin eyes and dirty looks On what I have and why I took Counting all the hands I shook Now I know why you've been shaking Now I know why you've been shaking So bleed your heart out There's no more rides for free Bleed your heart out I said what's in it for me Everything I've held is what I've freed Everything I've held is what I've freed Everything I've shown is what I feel Burying lies and stealing jokes And laughing every time I choke Biding all the time you took Now I know why you've been taken Now I know why you've been taken So bleed your heart out There's no more rides for free Bleed your heart out I said what's in it for me
Superunknown was the first cassette I ever bought, way back in middle school. Chris's voice will always be one of my favorites. Thank you for all these years. Music lives forever 🎶💕
Oh man. This is rough. Soundgarden was an important part of the soundtrack to my life. For all of you who were there though, who saw this last performance, this last show...and all of you who are true fans...you all must feel so shattered right now. I'm so sorry for you guys. :(
9:54 "Detroit....thank you...we'll see you soon....". Why would he then go to his hotel room and off himself? For the moment it makes no sense. I want to know what time the concert ended , phone records during that time , look at the hotel surveillance footage of him before and after the show up to him entering his room , people who spoke to him after the show; their accounts of their conversations with him , if he battled with depression , where his wife was during this time and what drove her to have band members check his room.
Yep- let's get all the facts about a man who no one here ever knew the real inner workings of so we can sit around, play junior detective dissecting the evidence and make ourselves feel better. The only solace in it possibly being "accidental" is that it spares the family the lifelong agony of dealing with a thought out suicide. I've been there and am there- it never goes away.
Finding out all of the facts isn't intended to make one "feel better". It's about having , as a fan , clarity of a tragic incident in regards to an artist that many people enjoyed. Whether it's a rock star or a family member it's only common sense to ask questions over something like this.
Zenmodo Male ourselves feel better? The facts should always be present. No stone should ever be left unturned. The truth matters or there would be no justice in this world. You don't just say yep, looks like suicide. Wrap it up. Matters for so many reasons. Weirder things have happened.
If you listen closely.. you hear CC change the lyrics earlier in this video to "laughing at all my jokes".. meaning he can just say anything and people eat it up because he's a celebrity... "we will see you soon" is the cliche thing to say when you are a celebrity.
3 options You can run with the Devil - run away from the Devil. Or stand and face the Devil but you cannot face him alone. And it is highly unlikely that you will find a church to help you right now. Look at the video for Outshined (replicates Hell) then look at the video for ELP touch and Go. Also replicates Hell. LyricAlly almost all artists talk about Jesus as if to satisfy Satan - yet Satan will give power and wealth but ultimately he wants the souls. And unless you can follow and have complete faith in the one you mocked earlier and be willing to go through the fire it will turn bad. Remember he was speaking against how the world is.. but no one can fight the Devil who is the god of this world. Lady Gaga an example of one who will go the full mile. Cornell had children. I feel for him and his family. I feel for him
whoever filmed and posted this, thank you. and thanks for keeping it real! I cant stand people who stand motionless while they film at a gig. How boring it is to watch those vids and how boring it must be to stand still whilst at a concert!!!!!! Watching ur vid I felt like I had had a 6 pack, a couple of jacks and half a cookie preshow and was really enjoying being there, gazing around in wild wonder.... so thanks again dude!!!! Shame on all those people who left before the show had ended, bet they regretted that decision the instant they heard the news!
Greece, 1991, driving my fathers car without a driving license and listening to BADMOTORFINGER. Hell Yeah....Outshined,Outshined,Outshined,Outshined.... 2017 , 44 years old now ,with a driving license and still listening .....OUTSHINED!!
I'm speechless... He was so amazingly talented, and wrote some of the most important songs in my life. And he's gone, just like that. Fuck. It's so devastating.
Everyone STOP connecting In My Time Of Dying being performed in refrain during this performance. Soundgarden has done that for years. Also to note, that song is NOT by Zeppelin. They like MANY other cover it. Its a Blind Willie Johnson song. (could even go back further from an unnamed performer)
Oh god why Chris :(( My dad said he always wanted to see Soundgarden in concert, and we had a chance at a music festival we didn't go to. Now he'll never get to see him.
A performance where epic morphed into hauntingly legendary with his death. You caught him as he faded into the black and disappared in the bright light. Thank you. This is surreal to me: Being there for this show/finale and later learning that he taken his own life less than an hour later.
Maybe he really did plan his death. I mean for him to add that part about meeting Jesus into Slaves and Bulldozers- I don't think he normally does that and he didn't even play slaves and bulldozers when we saw him 2 weeks ago. . I've seen him 3 times in the last 2 years... will be missed so much! His energy in this video seems so much lower than the other times when i've seen him. thanks for posting this piece of history
So sad, no one knew what he was going through. It seems there was foreshadowing and references with the last song. Notice he was one of the last ones to walk off stage too, he was crouching with his guitar for over a minute during 10:22-10:36 until he finally walked off towards the back. The others just walked off with a wave to the crowd. Horribly tragic
I'm soooo heartbroken over this, I still can't believe he's gone. I've loved Soundgarden from day 1. I'm just happy I got to hear all their music and see them in concert. RIP Chris. I'll miss your phenomenal voice and talent😥
chris cornell i grew up listening to your voice. i grew to love your sound and i also got older and had a family. I havent a clue what happened to make you take your life but the news has been very hard to take. i cant imagine how your wife and children are and your family. All the comments of how great you are, are 100% true.... my thoughts are with your family and i will make sure my family hear you sing. you will live on in my cd player and in also my heart. i love all of your stuff but i love it even more now that your gone... very strange feeling considering we never met. i bet many people have that same feeling. hope you are at peace. You are a legend. xxx
Chris Cornell last venue played Fox theater in Detroit. Prince last venue played Fox theater in Atlanta. Roger Ailes dead at the age of 77. built Fox news
"We'll see you soon" I have a feeling whatever depressive episode came after the high of the show when he was alone. Can't imagine what was going through his head in those final minutes. Rest In Peace.
Garden of Sound (Black Holed Son)Where you headed Chris Why do you have to make Us miss you so much so soon You were lost as much As you were found But you found your home Amongst the garden of sound Walking those fertile grounds under your Worried Moon I will always hear your voice amongst those fragile flowers Reminded everything has it's season And it can so easily change at any hourFalling down that black hole No one can catch you No one can save your soul You feel yourself tumbling You feel so alone No light at the end of this tunnel Squeezing you into this dirt funnel Making you feel like it's just Six more feet till you're home To another Black Holed SonWhere you headed Chris What clues in your songs Did we miss in those pained lyrics You were lost as much As you were found But you found your home Amongst the garden of sound No more flowers in the ground Without you here near it We will always hear your voice along with it's fragile power Reminded everything has it's season And it can so easily change at any hourFalling down that black hole No one can catch you No one can save your soul You feel yourself tumbling You feel so alone No light at the end of this tunnel Squeezing you into this dirt funnel Making you feel like it's just Six more feet till you're home To another Black Holed SonThe tortured soul In a constant fight To dig out of that hole With everything they write When they play They play for keeps To keep back the dark night When it starts to creep When the music stops They're back on the run The spotlight in the only light For a Black Holed SonFalling down that black hole No one can catch you No one can save your soul You feel yourself tumbling You feel so alone No light at the end of this tunnel Squeezing you into this dirt funnel Making you feel like it's just Six more feet till you're home To another Black Holed Son
I cried at 13 when my dad broke the news my fav band broke up. I nearly had a heart attack when they got back together and I saw em with my 2nd favorite qotsa. I have never cried over a death of someone I didn't know personally. I've had family and friends die that brought no tears. I sobbed a little when a car drove by blaring "I am the highway". No other singer has given me chills like him. No, not even Maynard surprisingly. It feels like a dream. He affected me a lot more than I ever could have realized. Rest easy Chris.
This Sucks!!! All the bands i looked up too in middle school and high school. Layne, Kurt, Brad Nowell, Scott Weiland, Dimebag, and Chris Cornell. R.I.P To the greatest music from my generation! And Thank You. All of you guys got me through alot of tuff times coming up. 😎
no one sings like you anymore .
No one ever did.
nice!
Rusty cage
How depressing must it be for Vedder that his counterparts that came up with him at the same time all are gone now...
Tyler Durden
Probably not at all, considering the millions he's got in the bank to console himself with.
I doubt anyone, especially someone like Eddie, would ever think of it like that ..
Jason M but think about like if your childhood friends all died and you were there for the ride watching them go one by one, it's gotta fuck with your head at least a little...
James Oneal real shit fuck possessions they're just things not family/people you love that's irreplaceable when gone. Deep sadness my heart goes out to those who have lost loved ones
Chris Cornell was a millionaire and he killed himself.

Soundgarden got me through rock bottom man, this really kills me
ghee4345 Same here. What a terrible loss for everyone. Very sad day....RIP, Chris❤
Here in Seattle it was on the faces of everyone I ran across and saw. W/ Kurt, I think we all saw it coming but Chris was different... in EVERY way
Even down here in Miami we weep brothers. Got me fucked up sigh
You post gave me chills. This is true for me and for so many of us.
He was the voice of an entire generation My voice was John Lennon when he died that was my generation BUT still I am angry and confused that this happened to a great talent Yea I feel the same as you all do

Isiah Carabello and probably accidentally hung himself. It's called auto erotic asphyxiation and common. It took the singer of INXS
FUCK NO!!! Dude why the fuck didit have to be him. i dont trip over celeb deaths but this ones got me by the throat and ripped my heart out
Kaitlyn Lee Hagar it's hard to consider rock musicians as celebrities though. They're more grounded in the way that they live like a normal person would if the suddenly got rich wheras other types have an air of superiority.
That was a naive comment. Don't understand it at all.

Me, too.
Yeah, I'm finding it hard to deal with also. Couple of coworkers who are into his other stuff feel the same way:(
I think he made it obvious. It's just so fucking sad. So God damn fucking sad.
Hindsight is 20/20.

Dammit. Just dammit. Layne, Kurt, Scott, now Chris, all the idols of my teen years.... 😭 😭 💔 💔
And fuckin Courtney Love is STILL out there somewhere.....
Beaukneaus Just proving there is no order to the universe.
Jaimelyn Gray: Scott Weiland too. 🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
Scott Weiland too
Lest we forget, yes.
Hauntingly eerie. RIP to one of the all time greats.

RIP Chris Cornell. Finally broke his rusty cage and ran. So long and thanks for the music and memories.

Something was off. He seems empty and done here. So sad. Thanks for posting.
I pray that Chris Cornell is able find the peace and happiness in the hereafter that he was unable to find on earth. Prayers for his family, friends and fans for we are left with the question of why.
They all say if you look hard
Youll find your way back home
Born without a friend
And bound to die alone
He knew damn well what was gonna happen after this show. Heartbreaking
James Florin Agree! Kinda crazy how he threw in Led Zeppelin lyrics on the last song. So sad though. :'(
them including the lyrics to "In my time of dying" is not a new Soundgarden thing whatsoever... they have been doing that for a while.... just this time... its a little different.... :(

just a few days ago I was wondering myself, how would he sound when he'd be in his 60s or even 70s.... :(
This morning was sad and melancholic to me... I really cried
So did I. I'm at work and this has been pretty tough to digest. I just found out this morning ....
same here, heard it when i was at work :-( was really melancholic the whole time
Me too; I've been crying on and off all day :( CC kept me company through some really dark times in my life. It's a terrible loss :(
Aaron de la Fuente
He was only 52. It's sad we will never no now.
Aaron de la Fuente Me too
its so sad. He had a lot left to give the world.
I usually don't get overly worked up about celebrity deaths, but dammit this was my childhood right here.
that voice will forever be missed. The crowd was blessed to hear it live for one last time. Thank you Chris, and thank you to the uploader for sharing this unforgettable moment.
The last performance of my all time favorite band. Can't believe it. So heartbroken
God Bless Chris & his family. He has given us so much, everyone lost something today. 😔🙏
Here in Seattle they turned off the lights on the Space Needle in tribute. Eerie.
Ian Gooldy its happened too many goddamn times man. What has happened to our era? It's so sad it makes me nauseous
How are you doin, bru? I find myself listening to Mind Riot and Searching with My Good Eye Closed from time to time..."Stop I'm trying to bruise my mind I can do it on my own, stop you're trying to kill my time it's been my death since I was born... I don't remember half the time if I'm hiding or I'm lost but I'm on my way" last I checked that is pretty BAD A$$
6:36 "In My Time Of Dying" by Led Zeppelin
Man... Let the conspiracy theories flow... Unless he sang this at several shows prior, id say that its highly suss that he would sing this on the night that he dies...
This wasn't the first time they've done that refrain with "Slaves & Bulldozers".
They did it when I saw them 2 weeks ago.
Get outta here with your bullshit
Joshua Black
Kara C
Cheers for the heads up.
friendly chode
hahaha, nice name.
Cyn Mar Great comment.
Cyn Mar All the best to you. That was a wonderful comment.
Cyn Mar, best thing I have read today. We could be great friends.
Thanks for all the great timeless music, say hello 2 heaven
Incredible video and performance! Makes us feel like we were there together from this fantastic camera view and most importantly is now a BIG part of the rock history. Too bad this had to end like this. And so sad to see a happy Mat Cameron after throwing his stuff to the public and leaving with funny moves without knowing what was going to happen in the next hours. Big thanks to the uploader. Your video is a slice of history.
They claim that he was not normal at this concert. Sucks I'm only 17 but soundgarden is my favorite band 💙
Thank you for sharing. Chris will truly be missed!
Superunknown is one of the very few albums that touches my soul. God bless you Chris.
The entire time, he knew this was his last show. This was his goodbye.
Thanks for your beautiful gift you left to the world Chris.
We promise we'll treat it with the respect and care it deserves.
R.I.P
Velcro I
Thank you for posting this. Started bawling again 2 bars in. DAMMIT
Haunting how he goes back to "every word I said, is what I mean," in Slaves and Bulldozers just after singing In My Time of Dying.
I mean, fuck.
That is a concert standard improv they have done for years with that song.
I just saw them on sunday.. wow what a shock.... RIP Chris :(
At 9:02 ....watching him stronging out his voice..in that very last lament, knowing what was coming next..
It was hard to take... 😰
Your astounding vocals added to my 1990's Los Angeles experience.
Rest In Peace, Chris. 💔
Will the last Dead Man please turn off the light.
I was lucky enough to be at this concert. Still in shock. Woke up the next morning with this song still ringing in my ears and finding out Chris had hung himself was disturbing in every sense of the word. Great concert too btw rip Chris Cornell
Cris Cornell was a genius /legend RIP
damn I was at work and found out on my instgram. I couldn't believe it. It's weird I felt like vomiting it's like losing someone that's been really close too you. I'm glad I've got to see garden a couple of times and temple of the dog last year. RIP Chris Cornell
solat90ro I was in Great Clips waiting for a bang trim. I opened Facebook and yup, I ran out the door and actually puked! 😰
The end of this vid sounds like the start to a tool song.
No kidding. wish i was there.
Damn Ed, I'm sorry to read this, at least you had the chance to see him at his best, playing and signing like a true legend. RIP Chris, we will miss you so much.
ed slott - brutal man, I feel for ya, too close. He knew and he told you, be glad you were honoured with the time. What a legend.
ed slott: this video was from my vantage point - the girl in the pink sweater standing on her seat near the end was right in front of me. I thought the same thing - it kept getting louder and louder and louder - unbelievable ending but not the most unbelievable ending of the evening. Just stunning to me that he performed that whole show then did what he did moments later. No words for it.
so sad, thank u for posting this. really wish I had been there, had no idea it would be my last chance to see such an amazing artist!!
That was his way of saying goodbye. RIP Chris, you were a Legend.
From now on, this very video will remain one of the creepiest live performances in the history of rock and roll. RIP Chris... Thanks for the great music!
So many great songs and melodies that came from this man and his band mates. RIP Chris I'll never stop listening to your great music
It does look like "In My Time Of Dying" has been included in every show I have seen from the videos of this tour
just NO!!!!! I can't deal with this. Why did he had to be taken away so soon?
R.I.P Chris
Natascha Fisher he killed himself. It was his choice.
YanksOnTop police are still investigating, they are still waiting on the autopsy report too. police deemed it as "possible suicide."
Natascha Fisher
He wasn't taken. The dumbass chose to leave.
whatever you want to call it, death took him.
YanksOnTop you wouldn't say that to a smoker dying of lung cancer would you? mental illness is not a choice.
Their never be a great singing voice like that again :(
Melissa Turner nope there won't, he had a four octave vocal range which is rare. He was very talented!
The Heroine Diaries just another chapter.......clean now for 9 yrs..Thanks to my Higher Power, God Is Good.
Its funny how talented you realize somebody really is till there gone....always had love for him as a [person
When he leaves stage he is holding his head he knew what he was going to do and that it was going to fuck people up the whole thing is just eerie rip man we will miss you
Grunge and music icon. I still remember the first time hearing Cornell's voice, I was blown away. So sad, especially for his family.
Slaves and bulldozers, the song that got me into Soundgarden at age 12. Drink up my friends in memory of a legend. I raise my can to everyone.
God damn everything. but we have to go on. I was gonna see soundgarden on may 25th Houston. now I'm just gonna get drunk.
Alias Wrong
Don't forget to get your money back.
Jason M Nice! I needed that!
I took my 9 year old two weeks ago to see them in Atlanta... so glad I did... my son got so much attention being the only kid there... he cried today too.
Alias Wrong SAVE THAT TICKET!!!
Alias Wrong pour one for me
Every word I've said is what I mean.
Dominatrix97 In the lyrics?
SLAVES AND BULLDOZERS LYRICS:
Every word I said is what I mean
Every word I said is what I mean
Everything I gave is what I need
Virgin eyes and dirty looks
On what I have and why I took
Counting all the hands I shook
Every word I said is what I mean
Every word I said is what I mean
Everything I gave is what I need
Virgin eyes and dirty looks
On what I have and why I took
Counting all the hands I shook
Now I know why you've been shaking
Now I know why you've been shaking
So bleed your heart out
There's no more rides for free
Bleed your heart out
I said what's in it for me
Everything I've held is what I've freed
Everything I've held is what I've freed
Everything I've shown is what I feel
Burying lies and stealing jokes
And laughing every time I choke
Biding all the time you took
Now I know why you've been taken
Now I know why you've been taken
So bleed your heart out
There's no more rides for free
Bleed your heart out
I said what's in it for me
Cliff Burton so your back from the dead? Told u i would be first to notice didnt i😜 glad ur back
Superunknown was the first cassette I ever bought, way back in middle school.
I feel for him
just fucking heart-breaking. so, during this performance he already knew what he was going to do.... Jesus Christ..... words fail.
whoever filmed and posted this, thank you.
and thanks for keeping it real!
Never cried over a celebrity passing. Then went down a youtube hole of his videos. And the duet with his daughter got me. Cried for 30 minutes.
In my time of dying... this was his goodbye
RIP 😢😿❤️
True master of his art! My heart will never be the same. I will always love you.
Yeah, I've seen soundagrden do little song excerpts in the middle of slaves and bulldozers since 1992. It probably has nothing to do with his death
Joseph Negra #PoetaInAnimus how do you know?
You are a legend. xxx
The last supper of grunge.
Chris Cornell last venue played Fox theater in Detroit. Prince last venue played Fox theater in Atlanta. Roger Ailes dead at the age of 77. built Fox news
Very odd.
what does the fox say?
Ring ding ding ding die
Coincidence.
"We'll see you soon" I have a feeling whatever depressive episode came after the high of the show when he was alone. Can't imagine what was going through his head in those final minutes. Rest In Peace.
Losing this idol of mine has really broken my heart. He's one of the reasons why I sing. Chris Cornell, I miss you and love you so much my brother.
In my time of dying, want nobody to mourn
All I want for you to do is take my body home
r.i.p ♡♡♡♡♡
heartbreaking ..just can't seem to come to grips with this loss
Garden of Sound (Black Holed Son)Where you headed Chris
Why do you have to make
Us miss you so much so soon
You were lost as much
As you were found
But you found your home
Amongst the garden of sound
Walking those fertile grounds
under your Worried Moon
I will always hear your voice
amongst those fragile flowers
Reminded everything has it's season
And it can so easily change at any hourFalling down that black hole
No one can catch you
No one can save your soul
You feel yourself tumbling
You feel so alone
No light at the end of this tunnel
Squeezing you into this dirt funnel
Making you feel like it's just
Six more feet till you're home
To another Black Holed SonWhere you headed Chris
What clues in your songs
Did we miss in those pained lyrics
You were lost as much
As you were found
But you found your home
Amongst the garden of sound
No more flowers in the ground
Without you here near it
We will always hear your voice
along with it's fragile power
Reminded everything has it's season
And it can so easily change at any hourFalling down that black hole
No one can catch you
No one can save your soul
You feel yourself tumbling
You feel so alone
No light at the end of this tunnel
Squeezing you into this dirt funnel
Making you feel like it's just
Six more feet till you're home
To another Black Holed SonThe tortured soul
In a constant fight
To dig out of that hole
With everything they write
When they play
They play for keeps
To keep back the dark night
When it starts to creep
When the music stops
They're back on the run
The spotlight in the only light
For a Black Holed SonFalling down that black hole
No one can catch you
No one can save your soul
You feel yourself tumbling
You feel so alone
No light at the end of this tunnel
Squeezing you into this dirt funnel
Making you feel like it's just
Six more feet till you're home
To another Black Holed Son
I cried at 13 when my dad broke the news my fav band broke up. I nearly had a heart attack when they got back together and I saw em with my 2nd favorite qotsa. I have never cried over a death of someone I didn't know personally. I've had family and friends die that brought no tears. I sobbed a little when a car drove by blaring "I am the highway". No other singer has given me chills like him. No, not even Maynard surprisingly. It feels like a dream. He affected me a lot more than I ever could have realized. Rest easy Chris.
like he knew it was time to check out.
Say hello 2 heaven, Chris.
Thank you SO much for capturing this and posting it. For those of us that loved him, this footage is priceless.
