I have had quite a few people tell me that they wish I would’ve gone just for the content that would ensue hahaha
but i am very happy with the decision i made 😂😂
I was really excited about this event up until the time I saw the price it’s just not enough offerings to justify more than the cost of a one day studios ticket for a 4hr event. Proud to be a part of the pityXviewer crew
Especially the fact that rise of the resistance was only an operation about 15 minutes during those four hours of the first night 👀 Really just a big bummer 😢

Never been to a ticketed event, but this year we've decided to go to the Christmas party. Trying to calculate how many free cookies and cocoa will need to consume to recoup even half the cost...
Also thanks for the very informative Raising Cane's review. One is opening up by my workplace and now I'm thinking to not trust the hype 😂
That’s the thing, the free cookies and hot chocolate are not even included at the Hollywood Studios event from what I’ve seen 😆
also, make sure I get home makes excellent hot chocolate 😅 so there’s no reason to leave my couch
As a Philly person, I absolutely love Brady’s shirt. And I would choose Portillo’s over Raising Cane’s in a heartbeat even though I’ve never tried Raising Cane’s. Everyone I trust says it’s the blandest chicken ever.

To address your question.. the origins of “ pity viewer” this is self deprecating joke anyway, so I guess you should be allowed to do the same back haha 😂
Also, the fact that there are literally 10 different chain restaurants that are dedicated to “the best chicken in the world” but only one Chicago, hot dog place, really speaks volumes, I think 🤷♂️

We went to the Christmas party last year we did have fun but decided to come this year in January. I need to escape the cold winter weather! And Brady rocking Gritty!! Love it!!

Went to the Mickey Christmas party in 2014 it was under a $100 I believe but I would not go for the 180. Way to much . We have had a Raising Canes in our town for over a year and still haven’t been. Proud to be a pity party watcher😂

From what I’ve heard about Jollywood I would absolutely not spend that kind of money. The event is much too short and just overall doesn’t sound worth it! So I don’t blame ya at all!

unfortunately, there’s a massive portion of Disney’s audience that can’t afford, and will gladly pay this. 😔
I guess it’s one way to crowd, control the parks, just make it unattainably priced so that people just don’t go because of that. They make more money that way anyway 🤷♂️
I agree, the prices of these extra celebrations are crazy expensive....but yet they continually sell out. Crazy.
The real crazy part is so many people constantly complain about the price is going up and some of those are the same exact people that are causing the prices to continue to go up by selling out the events. 😂
Tbh it’s probably a decent percentage of people that are viewing this video in the first place. I just think sometimes it’s OK to skip stuff. 🤷♂️ Turn that FOMO upside down 🤣🤣
Well, after seeing the videos of the party, you clearly made the right choice by not going! I bet you were cracking up at Kristen's video when she was talking about how bad it was. 😂 Disney should be embarrassed for making people pay to attend that.
I honestly have not had a chance to watch any videos from the actual event itself outside of short clips on Instagram. But I very much know firsthand how Kristen was feeling about the night. 😂😂

Pity viewers checking in! ;p What a roller coaster vlog for us. When my husband and I saw you were focusing some content on Canes chicken, we let out audible sighs only to erupt in cheer as the focus shifted to Portillo's!! Canes, in our opinion, is super overrated. We've been to the OG Portillo's in Chicago and then also ate there twice on our last trip down to Disney. Completely agree that we will more-than-likely not attend another specialty party with Disney as we had a very similar experience with Not-So-Scary Halloween party. It was a let down, unfortunately.

@@ForTheLoveOfThemeParksVlogs We were in our AirBnB probably a day or two out from our MNSSHP event when we watched your video! 😮 Although it was a "limited" event, it was super packed. We had family with us, and honestly I think we would of had a better time if we just went to the park earlier that day before the party. Even though the day is shorter, we don't spend all day at the park and wait times are usually lower on days where there is an evening event going on. We really enjoy pity watching your content 🤪hoping it gets us through the winter before we make our next trip down.

The parties can be fun but yah it’s pretty ridiculous the amount of $$$ esp as a Florida resident AND annual pass holder… there should be at least a fixed price for this type of guest if anything. MNSSHP I think is a bit more worth it and will pay to go… the free trademarked candy at least 💯💯💯

Yeah, the Halloween parties will probably be something that I will consider each year but I don’t think the Christmas parties are going to be a regular thing for me at this point 🤷♂️
Yah exactly. Also from a disability & DAS standpoint I don’t see covered or discussed as much but it’s even more a pain some of the wait times for only few hours to utilize your DAS/ return times the best way you can. Especially just seeing jollywood nights oh my goodness I would be sooo upset!
For the price, Jollywood Nights seems a bit disappointing.
I feel the same about both parties this year tbh. especially since so much of it used to be standard park stuff before they took it away to charge people a separate ticket for it 😭

Is anyone else getting low static audio. Except the voiceovers they sound loud and clear. On my iPhone the audio is fine but on my tv it’s screwed.
I had some microphone issues in the first half of this video, but I was kind of forced to fix and post production, but figure it out for the second half. What should be normal. Sorry about that. 😬

Pitty viewer here! I was lucky enough to be at Disney during Christmas in 96 and again in 98 but I wouldn't spend $180 for a party. The parks are cool enough around the holidays imo but I understand the appeal of shorter ride lines.
Wow super jealous! I was never able to experience the parks during the holidays until after we moved here in 2020 😭
The funny part about these parties is that they advertise that has limited capacity in them. Wait times for the special attractions advertised are through the roof. I don’t really care to ride toy story mania if I’m paying $180 for all the actual advertised stuff. 😂😂
