    SIR, We know that
    'To every action there is equal and opposite reaction'
    If it is so then if we consider a collision in which a object is stationary.
    Let us consider a object in motion as O¹ and stationary object as O² where both have same mass then
    In this collision O¹ will exert a force on O² which will cause a displacement i.e work is done on O² by O¹
    But according to 3rd law O² will also give some reaction which will cause a displacement in O¹.
    But we observe all the energy which was given by O¹ -> O² was again given to O¹ in form of reaction.
    So how does O² move if all energy was taken and again given away by O² to O¹

    • @gojoMaths
      @gojoMaths Před 2 lety

      O¹ has momentum as it is in motion so the force applied by O² by N3 law is used up in making the O¹ stop and thus they both show bit motion and stop after collision- mass of both is noted in it

    • @aashb6637
      @aashb6637 Před 2 lety

      O2 does not give energy to O1, it applies a reaction force. If O1 doesn't move at all after the collision, this reaction force hasnt performed work (no displacement), and hence there is no energy transferred back to O1.

    • @mathematicsbackground.6377
      @mathematicsbackground.6377 Před rokem

      Action reaction force doesn't cancel each other...
      So both of the object have experienced same force but as O1 had also some velocity so effect on it observed by us is 0...
      But before displacing o2, O1 overcomes that reaction force..

    • @suprithAnCom
      @suprithAnCom Před měsícem +1

      @@joydeepsingh9113 bro he told logic in video.
      Postive means we move to right on number line.
      Negative means reverse, so reverse of right is left.
      But 2 times negative is reverse of reverse, ie straight, that is right side on number line.
      Like what happens if you take U turns 2 times? You end up in your first direction.
      Think of negative sign as a u turn

    Sir in some said that pressure in fluid is due to their random motion and some said that it is due to gravity but while deriving formula we only consider gravity

    • @TheJawlaLab
      @TheJawlaLab Před 16 dny

      Hi ma'am,
      I found this comment after 2 years, and it is a really Interesting question. I am leaving my answer for everyone going through this comment.
      yes, the pressure exert by the fluid is due to the motion of their particles, and when fluid act in the influence of the gravity then the particles don't have random motion, the resultant vector of all the particles point towards the downward direction.
      That means in the influence of the gravity particles of any fluid tends to move more toward the downward direction.
      so, That is the main reason why we consider gravity if deriving the formulas.
      Thankyou
