I loved playing all the Power of Chaos games back in the day. My favorite YGO game over the years was Spirit Caller. I also Played YGO Online until they shut the server down. I was so disappointed. I put a lot money in that game back in the day and loved being able to trade online cards with other players.

I remember one of the gameboy color games let you "fusion summon" by essentially overlaying a monster from your hand onto a monster on the field.
Joey the Passion is in my opinion the best of these but oh boy the hours i put in yugi the destiny to farm all the cards! The nostalgia, the animations, the slow format and the modding done to this game to have things like Marik the Darkness is one mod remember well because they put in the Gods and everything

Game works almost nothing like the actual game, and is wonky wonky.
I beated the game without a guide. It taked hours to do it but I did it. It's possible tho.

I use to have a couple for Gameboy, one was a 05 tournament one and the other was the battle city tournament. The main reason I bought them was the free exclusive cards you got.

what are the most interesting things about the games was that it was 1 of the rare times where NA and EU had two different sets of promos for each game. Power of Chaos Yugi's EU version was the first printing of Dark Magician with the stone tablet in the background in english as 1 of the promos. Just some fun facts for you all.

It was a very nice experience. And the nostalgia...sweeet.
But my ultimate yugioh jam from the 2000s will always be the sacred cards. I love that game. So good. Sure, it wasn't great as a representation of the real tcg, but man was it awesome to relive the battle city arc with your own avatar.
This game was rough. I recommend either sacred cards on the gba or any of the ps2 games. Personally I really love Capsule Monsters Coliseum and Duelist of the Roses. The GX one is pretty good as well.

Actually there are tons of modes with other cards and characters xD its kinda weird when u got some xyz/synchro cuz the game takes them as fusion summon but it's pretty fun

Falsebound Kingdoms was my favorite as a kid.
You couldn't trap hole summoned skull because you were spamming the "no" prompt to activate an effect.
