My son has been suffering for mental illness for years. In a hospital again now. He’s given up hope. My hope is waning. I’m worn. And I know he’s experiencing this 1000x greater. Thank you for this song. It’s ok to be broken and worn before God. He is loving and understanding.

I needed this tonight, I honestly was just going through CZcams and something told me to search for Tenth ave North and I found this. I've been struggling with depression lately amongst other things and this song is my favourite by them. Brought a tear to my eye as I've been wanting a slowed down acoustic version of this song, it has more meaning to me when a song is slow especially one like this. It made my night better so thank you Tenth Avenue North for making my night better.

Eight years ago I went through two surgeries that left me in so much pain for two years that i wanted to die. I listened to this song one day while in physical therapy (3 hours per day) and it changed what I saw in my pain. Today I live in constant pain. But it’s a gift from God. When I’m worn I have a savior who knows pain. I have a savior that died in agony. For me.

Mike Donehey, this song and Control have helped me through my spinal nerve tear and 12 surgeries in getting my life back together and surrendering to God’s sufficiency. It is so beautiful acoustical but is extra special with your wife on the piano this way. Hmmmm, can't say that I know how you feel, or what you are experiencing, though I have experienced loss myself howbeit not the loss of an adult child. However, He sent His son to die for us. So He understands what the lose of a child is like. So I pray for strength and courage to open the door, to see the outside, to see light again, to live life yet again, until He calls you home. @@jacobjones221 Jesus is my only Hope and grief is grief and everyone goes through it differently and I don't appreciate saying my son's death was in vain because I long for Jesus appearing and maybe I was having a harder day that day than others. I am experiencing a season of grief and depression. I have had my ups and downs over the years….nothing compares to this. The pandemic is wearing me down. I am alone 98% of the time. I am considering very high risk via Covid or vaccine….so my social distancing is a bit extreme. It has been a bit unsettling since the start….to add on top of that….in June my Mom died of Covid. In the past, before Covid I had a few close calls with death myself. I had surrendered to God’s will (whether I lived or died) , especially during those times. Why is this Covid situation different. It has me scared of and to death. I want to avoid it. Why am I thinking I can outrun my appointed time……I am not ready. 😥
I remember in years ago, during my first close call….as I exited the hospital parking lot on my way home, the first song on the radio when I turned it on…Worn. Oh how I could relate.

I been worn very worn out since I was 14 to 15. I wanna die. I wish o could get out of this world as easy as going to sleep and suddenly desapearing. I am trying once again, I am giving another try to life and to me. But if I fail again, then I don't know. I wish it could be simple. I wish I didn't wish so much. I wish things could get better, but they don't and maybe they never will.
I have a bottle of vodka in my wardrobe just in case. I wish I was never born. Life is such a burden. I gave my best to get better to be a winner, and yet life pulled my rug. It is like I am metal and there is a magnet on the ground pulling me down
