I was just watching an early movie of Christoph's called "Kopfstand" from 1981. As I was watching it, I realized I'd seen it before. Sure enough, we watched the film in my high school German language class ten years ago (I'm in the USA). I can't believe I was introduced to his work but didn't know it. He's so wonderful in that movie :)

However, I was simply stating that in your comment there should have been a comma after the word "Basterds" to symbolize that there were two distinct thoughts going on in your sentence.
