Hi, how did they get to have this big fur baby ?...
If I remember correctly he was part of a roadside or petting zoo. He wasn't well cared for, malnourished, etc, and it stunted his growth quite a bit. Because he was raised around constant interaction with people he was tame as a puma can get. He can't live in the wild because he's too small to survive, and he's much too tame to survive in the wild as well. They rescued him and this is the life he has now. If you look at him next to his humans you can see he's half the sixe of a healthy puma. Beautiful kitty has the best home he could have with these good people.
It's all in how you raise them!

Having owned cats for many decades I can vouch for the occasional times when a bath is probably the best solution to whatever problem puss has created. I've been watching the behavior of large cats lately and find that their behavior seems to incorporate all the best aspects of the domestic cat and dog,. Especially if they were hand-reared from cubs. I'm glad that this owner seems well versed in how to care for the animal because it isn't full-grown yet. However, comparing the lives of wild cats and shelter/reserve cats is that the sheltered cats (those with proper keepers) live a much better life than they would as wild animals. But they must be given lots of cat-based enrichment, love and, autonomy.

There really is no need to bathe a domestic cat, unless it's completely flea ridden or plays around in the mud all day. Just combing it pretty much covers it. The cat will take care of their own hygiene.
