Jerry Seinfeld Stand-Up
/ fallontonight - Komedie
I know this is a comedy skit, but it is really making me reevaluate my whole life.
I can sum this up as "So... what's the DEEEEAL with Garbage?! I mean.... COME ON!!"
[Sitcom bass guitar Intensifies]
[bursting through doors unannounced intensely intensifies]
That joke went over your head. He’s telling two story’s.
@@kevindavis3152 Are you really belittling someone else's cognition while you use the singular possessive as if it's the plural?
@@bleepblop9556 damn, intelectual burn...nice
"Where's the wedding album" "I thought you were done with it" Laughed so hard haha!!
His material is absolute original gold, not only funny but also gives you a new perspective on life. And to everyone who criticize his act - not everyone needs racial jokes and f words in a comic act to get a good laugh.
Bad comedian. Successful, yes, but simply not funny.
+Rony Fluk well put.
Pretty sure its because his voice dont pitch up as much, and of course his rhythm is a little off because of age.
Johnson Taylor Similar style maybe, not same jokes.
Unless I'm wrong and then please give me an example.
BTW, saying that Seinfeld has similar style as Carlin is as saying he's original.
THANKYOU! The average black comedians propaganda piece makes me want to vomit!
I had everyone of those thoughts but never though to organize them. Great comedian!
I love how Jerry can take a universal truth and break it down into something utterly hilarious. Well done.
it's really sad that you find this hilarious, really really sad
I don't know if the piece is that hilarious, but I believe that his skills and talents are hilarious. That is closer to what I meant.
Yeah! How sad that you found joy in this! That makes us all angry! We want to point at you and laugh and imply that you are stupid for getting enjoyment out of something we did not enjoy! Grrrrrrrrrr! How DARE you like this? I smite thee, good sir! Fucking jackass, Stoyan Veselinov Andreev. What kind of douchebag goes around hating on people for liking something they didn't like? "You like chocolate ice cream? Well FUCK YOU!! I LIKE VANILLA!!" Oh, OK. They didn't teach us in school that we're supposed to shit on each other based on petty ass preferences. I must have missed that day. See a shrink, you sad fuck. Find out why you hate yourself so much you gotta shit on people for laughing at jokes you don't like.

u mad broyolo?
cause you sound mad
think you mad
@@BomfuckMcsYou must have the greatest life ever to be so sad over someone else's comedy taste. I hope you bounce back
Is it me or did his comedy get better? Good for him enjoying his stand up comedy.
I agree, I have NEVER seen him riff about something that happened before him...and I thought he has never been more present in the moment on stage like he is here. It's strange that people are saying this is crap, because I feel he's NEVER been more comfortable doing stand up... then he is now.
You just got older.
comedy, what comedy?
No he didn’t get better. Even if he did get better, he still wouldn’t be funny.
@@youtubemoderationtaskforce5583 Speak for yourself you melt
Excellent! This reminds me of George Carlin's routines about stuff and about leftovers.
czcams.com/video/ywhM0eq83Z8/video.html
This is extremely clever clean comedy. Jerry is one of the best
thats right, its for people with a certain amount of IQ, who are older then 30. Its not meant to be funny, only to make you see the funny side of life. Not everyone is able to get this.
Clean comedy isn't always smart comedy. Not everyone is able to understand that either.
It's thoughtful and funny.
I beg to differ
its shit
Love this guy. His bit on tone of voice is hilarious.
This reminds me of that Carlin routine about stuff.
Bro i thought i was the only one, good on you to recognize it too.
@@joshuapauls.baylon1568 it's only natural for comedians to draw inspiration from each other for new material 🙌
Agreed! I thought this was very Carlin
Say what you like about ol' Jerry, but he came up with his own style and he's stuck with it.
Agreed. And I appreciate him for it.
What is his style? I’ve never laughed at one thing he’s said.
I suppose not being funny IS a style in a sense.
Well I guess he was highly involved in one of the most popular TV shows of all time, is found to be funny & appreciated by millions of people so I would say he has done alright for himself

"Take your crap with you" 😂😂
I'm usually of the opinion that good comedy needs not be particularly insightful as long as it's funny, but the point he makes about accumulating useless items is making me rethink my life haha
everytime he talks i think of barry the bee
Ya like jazz?
HONESTLY I DONT EVEN SEE SEINFIELD TALKING I JUST SEE THE DAMN BEE WALKING AROUND HAVING INTERSEX MARRIAGE WITH A WHOLE FEMALE HUMAN
Thinking bee!
I LOVE this because honestly, it's a description of my life and that of many of my close family members! We struggle to let go of our stuff...we think we might want it/need it later. We think someone we love might want it/need it later. I know people (not naming any names here) whose closets are full, their basements are full, their attics and garages are full! They even pay rent to visit their stuff in Jerry's maligned "personal storage unit." We're "savers," "collectors," ok we're packrats and hoarders. But Jerry understands our dilemma and puts it in perspective for us! We want to become "thrower-outters." We even have loved ones who tell us "GET RID OF ALL THIS JUNK!! Who do you think will have to DEAL with all this when you DIE?! ME!!! It will be ME!!" And sooo ... I love Jerry because he puts the idea across with a little less passion, a calm and matter-of-fact demeanor, while he tells us the SAME THING! But of course HE won't have to DEAL with our junk when we die! ;-)
This is gold Jerrry, Gold!!
Roundtine
It was great seeing jerry, love this mans sense of humor today just as much i did when i read his book.
Jerry and Larry, the kings of observational comedy.
Larry is anyway
what a legend... good comedy is when it leaves you with something to think about.. not just useless laughing.
"Where's the wedding album? I threw it out, I thought you were done with it." Haha!
That was gold, Jerry, GOLD!
He would have been the perfect jester in the olden days...."so what's the deal with this plague"???? (Seinfeld music)
🤣😆😂
He has a second chance today
and maybe "Why are they calling this the 'medieval' era? Doesnt that sound too much like 'an average amount of really bad stuff'?" 🙂
When he mentioned troll dolls I immediately remembered what they smelled like.
Couldn't even smile..Loyalty is why i am watching this..
Most heartily identify with Mr. Seinfeld on this one. I had a girlfriend who saved EVERYTHING! She had (and still has) boxes and bags of books, books, books, magazines, magazines, magazines, and newspapers, newspapers, newspapers. It was like an obstacle course just going from one room to another (in a one-bedroom apartment yet)! And yes, she also had a storage unit where she wasted thousands of dollars maintaining the rest of her stuff.
We broke up a long time ago (on friendly terms). I have made it my remaining mission to reduce my own allotment of stuff. If I could, I would reduce the amount of things I own so that it all could be contained in one wheeled suitcase (besides my acoustic guitar and my insulin). The only thing that stops me from completing this mission is my own irrational and foolhardy sentimentality.
My moral is "If it takes you more than five minutes (to be generous) to locate any particular item in your possession, you have TOO MUCH STUFF."
Thegood Guy 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Love love love it!! Minimalism is awesome! couldn't stop laughing!!
OMG I LAUGHED VERY OUT LOUD TWICE THIS WAS GREAT!!!
This reminds me of Seinfeld
I never thought I could have so little fun until I watched this. Legend
That's Gold!!! Jerry. That's Gold!!!
+Andrew A LOL!!!...BANYA!
I've never not laughed so hard in my life.
I enjoyed this set. Seinfeld's common man take on entropy and the absurdity of consumerism. Most likely appreciated by someone over 40.
That was sooo funny! I’m doing a 28 day clutter clearing class & someone shared this!! Perfect 👌 I laughed my ass off 🤣🤣 ready to throw out more crap 💩
i miss some jerry seinfeld standup. glad this was uploaded
whats the deal with airplane peanuts?
Southwest don't know
Yeah, shouldn't they be called peanups?
This is why I don't watch Seinfeld lol sorry I guess im not white or mature.
@@Wechosworld or you just didnt like the show? Lol
Shut up checkmark, I bet you were crying when they tried to take it away.
He is the best stand up act in history. I've seen Seinfeld, the entire seasons back to back over ten times. And I am born in 1990. This man is a genius.
Ah! Jerry Seinfeld. Always so caustic and funny
Excellent piece on garbage, Jerry. Love it. Thanks for uploading.
This is pretty similar to George Carlin's 'Stuff' monologue..
yep
i think the same and a little influency of Louis C.K.
El Loco Dart are you saying louis c.k. influenced him? wow lol
Because they are close friends
I came here to say this, just not as funny.
I love how Jerry kills the hype at the start and then gives you a 1, 2 too the face and shows you why his so damn good..
Fantastic set from one of the greats!
Back and forth to each other 😂😂
Lol I discovered him through my mom telling me about Seinfeld the show from a long time ago and I didn't think it would be that great but it was awesome and I love it.
This performance seemed like a nod to George Carlin's bit on "Stuff".
It also seemed like a nod toward the general ridiculousness of materialism
I was thinking about that towards the end.
As a self storage provider, I found it very funny.
That was gold Jerry, just gold.
One of the most observant humorist of our lifetime.
Larry David too
This has got to be an homage to the great George Carlin. Very nicely done too
True. A retread, but well done
Fabulous stand-up!! Genius!!
Gotta love Jerry.Legend.
You slowly crapify them lol
My house has an over abundance of tvs because people I know keep sending their not needed tvs.lol
I don't like too many things, says the man who has 200+ cars.
The delivery of the wedding album bit...😂😂😂
As a fan of clean jokes, he was very good ! Very clever line deliveries as well.
Jerry was in rare form tonight, good set, I enjoyed it.
Some of my favorite type of comedy here.
Jerry is probably the smartest comic ever!! The greatest observational comic ever! Doesn’t get put in the goat debate enough
Jerry Seinfeld's hyperbole is like no other.
great cure for insomnia
still loving what you do, thank you very much....:))))) lmao
that was a great bit! like that a lot. lol The Wedding album
A very brilliant comedian, one of the best of all time.
Still got it. Jerry is hilarious
That was a nice way of calling everybody an "idiot"!
Best joke i have seen in my life!! That garbage bit is genius and true. A buddhist knows.
This was hilarious! still after more than 40 years a consummate stand-up comedian!
Genius comic.. True artist.
Perfect!
The greatest comedian of all time, hands down.
Why does this audience seem to be applauding and constantly shouting 'woooooooo, woop woop'' at his jokes, instead of laughing at them?
flashing signs and workers standing off camera
Because they're prompted when to laugh - I can't imagine anyone would find his comedy funny enough to laugh at.
I hope Jerry Seinfeld will be Reincarnated.
Ahhhhhhhh He was GREAT!!!! I saw him at the Borgata Event Center in AC In November of 2014!!! He was GREAT!!!
I love his jokes!
Sounds like George Carlin's "Stuff"
That's what I thought.
Except Carlin was funny and insightful.
Just saw Seinfeld in Sydney and the show was freakin awesome so not sure what these clowns are talking about. He's doing well for someone in his 60s.
"The things you own end up owning you" - Some Writer-Dude of Fight Club
This was GENIUS XD
Jerry cannot be copied.. He just gets it right everytime.
Why would anyone copy him, this didn't even make me smile once?
Gotta love all the kiddies who think racism and shock jokes is the one and only type of stand up.
they arent?
Amen
best comment i have ever read, so true
50Calabyte no. These days kiddies think even Jerry is racist and offensive
I'm 25 and I think Jerry is great. Sorry you don't agree.
😂this is classic. My friend, a Seinfeld fan, just forwarded this to me, as I try to get to the getting rid of things stage in my life. Yep, even considering, oops, now considered, the storage unit. My daughter is the get rid of it mother, nope, don't need that, toss it. This is up there with George Carlin's "stuff."
He never reach or do a cheap laugh! Amazing
He's actually still pretty funny :p
Well, that's 5 minutes and 48 seconds of my life I won't get back...
good. it's garbage anyway.
You don't get any minute or second of your life back.
+idcaf hahahaha i have to remember that

More, if you count the time you took to count it..
This was good! So true, most of us probably have a lot of useless crap :-)
this is gold.
I'm getting used to his timing and his segways are a bit coarse but he's still producing very good material. He's still a legendary performer as well.
He does a great job with Carlin's material.
The king of comedy has arrived!!
Few things are more TRUE than this sketch. Aside from collectible items that we simply enjoy looking at, and the dozen or so things that we actually use, our houses are filled with garbage. It will ALL BECOME garbage sooner or later (including ourselves), and most of it already IS garbage, we just haven't accepted it yet!
I've only recently started to watch some of Jerry's stand up as I felt I had to try it, seeing as he's so well respected by other Comedians. I really liked the HBO show 'Talking Funny' and with 'Comedians in Cars getting Coffee' he is in his element, but honestly I just don't find his stand-up funny. Comedy is obviously subjective, but I just find it odd that so many comedians that I love think so highly of him, yet I just don't see it.
Most people on here seem to think this was a great bit, but I can't help but feel if any other comic did this people would be saying it's mediocre. There are some clever observations, but I just don't see how it's designed to make someone laugh. Maybe it's a generational thing. I almost feel wrong for not finding him funny because he's so revered. Is the respect largely based on the fact that he's a pioneer of stand-up?
I understand that I'll be blasted as ignorant and 'not getting it' but I just don't think this guy can compete with the material of a Louis CK or Bill Burr. Opinions, eh?
+James Wills Try reading a transcript of his stand-up. It worked for me.
it's completely fine if you don't enjoy this, I myself didn't laugh hysterically for the entire bit. Not all jokes are going to be relatable for everyone. I do think Bill Burr is Much funnier, but I wish he didn't needlessly swear so much :/ I believe I saw in an interview that Jerry is an amazing person off stage and. went out of his way to help a lot of comedians. They also mention the special he did about "B***" ,tanking, every night. Every comedian has said how inspiring that was.
I also didn't find this any funny at all. I love Kevin Hart tho
The fact that you find Kevin Hart funny speaks volumes on why you wouldn't find one of the greatest comics to ever do it funny.
In my opinion, his simplicity of subject but detail of complaint is what sells it. He takes something so minor, something you'd never think to complain about, and details all the reasons WHY he thinks it is so stupid. He almost makes me feel dumb for not seeing it his way sometimes, but then always makes his reasons completely reasonable yet simultaneously ridiculous.
My favorite line from this has to be "All things on earth only exist in different stages of becoming garbage."
So ridiculous to quantify literally everything on earth under this statement, but is it not a valid point?
Just my opinion, I'll always love Jerry.
" I'm rich and find minor inconveniences to be as important as WW2, I'm funny still right? " - Jerry Seinfeld(implied)
Hilarious! I'm watching this video for months over and over again and never get tired of it!
new material, baby!
Jerry Seinfeld is absolutely one hundred percent hilarious
Very similar to Stuff by George Carlin
Not really honesty, I know both routines very well, they arent even remotely identical. One is about taking stuff on a trip, which is brilliant. This one is about a larger cycle of buying things among other things. You probably dont know much about either of these comedians.
omg - i had a family member that collected those troll dolls. lol
The only comedian that does clean jokes..and still makes people laugh
Which part made you laugh
