on problem i have with it now is that the screw closes the D switch seems to mess up the circuit somehow so i left it out when i reassembled it
You mean the hexagon nut of the SWITCH BTN? Maybe the SWITCH needs to be mounted higher and not that deep into the hole of the lid?

@@LehleSwitcher Does it matter which of the blue wires contacts to which solder point?
@@drewdemaio4162 As long as they are connected to the 2 right solder points on the pcb, it does not matter.

So I did just like the video showed. Only my switches don’t work. It powers on (light blink). But the switches do nothing… I don’t even know how to troubleshoot… it is such a simple process … help!
Sorry that it didn't work out immediately. A mistake often done is the wrong connection. Did you exactly solder them shown with the glasses at 2:12 ?
