NOTES:
- Since people missed the explanations, Wind Set / Hackerspace is still useable, just messes up the high damage increase -1 SPD Bronya provides for DPS.
- Wind Set / Hackerspace can also be used just fine on Fast Bronya, no problemo.
- You can just remove one Hacker piece if you farmed a 4 piece, stats are more important anyway for Bronya.
- Wind Set also provides other benefits like clutch saves when you need the advance forward
Hi Guoba, would you be able to make a guide about E2 Bronya? There seems to be a lot of confusion in the community about how she can be fully utilised.
Petition to mihoyo to add fourth button like "normal attack", "skill" and "ult" named "hold the fuck up" that makes your character patiently sit and wait for their turn

Evertale actually have a turn skip button, it does make it easier but also very efficient to strategize moves and turns

RNG was already a pain in genshin, but at least it only affected damage, not your ability to control your team.
Here it actively hinders your ability to get the rotations you want...
The game is so easy that it doesn't even matter if this ur characters are perfectly speed tuned or not, i am a f2p Clearing moc 10 with in 2-3 cycles
@@LuckyFlanker13 The game and getting 5* is so much more generous then Genshin, the gameplay is more chill and the game isn't hard enough to care about speed tuning. Artifacts are tough but as long as you have a decent set and the right main stat lines you won't have many problems with a lot of the content.
All I need to know is The Faster the Basic attack generators are, the easier it gets to have Bursts and being SP neutral or Positive the character gets.
Fast Luocha would have better Skill CD reset, more Sp generated, and faster to have Burst ready again.
Fast Bronya is my favourite Bronya. Because that means more Bronya. More Bronya is best Bronya. Both her animations are satisfying, and the sound of her gun. Good god. The fucking cannon sound of the normal attack and the clacking as she uses her ability and slams it into the ground. The SFX masters did incredible work with that musket.
But, bronya. Bronya is bronya.
Overall, I think Fast Bronya will be the more consistent option for the long term. There WILL be future dps that can take better advantage of Bronya, and speed tuning for each and every one of them is an exercise in insanity.
Yup, even with a fast bronya, Blade and Jingliu still performs very well. If you're sacrificing bronya's compatibility to everyone else just to pull off the -1 tech on those sp-efficient dpses, then you're just playing very inefficiently in terms of roster flexibility and relic building.
It is a reliable tech for most DPS on autoplay, tho not as efficient in manual play as the setup where Bronya will surely move after DPS (it doesn't necessarily need to be a -1, just close enough so allies other than DPS cannot cut in between them). Autoplay can cause so many mistakes that the slow Bronya cannot let it slide, and fast Bronya can. Still, depends on what DPS one's using with Bronya.
Yes, it is always better to build the most self-sufficient builds. Building -1 or Slowya is just too unreliable and gimmicky, futureproofing-wise.
Slowya requires 0 effort to build. Atk% and a lot of her trace unlike speedya are literally useless.
Cdmg% is also insignificant when she deals literal 0 dmg. A literal extra frickin 100 cdmg substat equals to just 16% more cdmg from ult aka 3 stat rolls. If you have her sig + Vonwack you can do 3 turns ult with this build making her ult better overall.
And since she doesnt deal dmg you can make her super tanky with HP pr Def orb. Which again near 0 effort compared to funding wind dmg orb with 30 crit dmg or smth.
You dont need to give a f about anything except making her spd a little lower than your carry. Just slap whatever on her.
The actual shit part is MHY somehow still refusing to give player Gear loadout.
fast bronya is a meme
Nice breakdown as usual. Because of those decimals problem, I always tuned my Bronya to be 2 SPD slower than the DPS she's paired with 'usually QQ or Jingyuan). As a rule of thumb, I usually prefer the steps of 2 in SPD tuning over steps of one (that's relevant for Yukong SPD tuning too, btw).

Thanks Guoba for all the recent info about SPD and the recent SpeedSheet, it's been a great resource for helping me worry less about min-maxing and to affirm my own speed tuning setups. This video is also great, because you made me realize that I just threw a full set of Hackerspace onto my Bronya without thinking (just rolled her recently) and didn't think about the implications of the speed bump distorting speed tuning, which has affected me on multiple occasions.

when this was happening to me i chalked it up only to the 3rd scenario. it's probably the others sometimes as well but i did take off 4pc because of this beforehand. it's nice to see it confirmed lol
I've found the best way to speed tune Bronya is to test your characters in practice, expecially with characters like Seele. I've found that 147 Spd Bronya works best with my 121/124 Spd Seele and with the relics I have. At the rate at which I generally use basic attacks on Seele, Bronya is very frequently only a few action value points behind.

I actually like my 4pc wind Bronya - I get my ass saved quite often by advancing Bronya ahead of mobs' turn to pull my DPS and making that stance-breaking attack.
Its a crutch but its a nice one ^^ wind works for that if you arent minmaxing for DPS value / if youre running fast bronya
At the end of the day, if you want to break frequently, speed is your best stat and advance forward is your best strategy. In break teams (which are very underrated) however bronya isnt seen as really valuable compared to asta or sampo because her crit buffs are kind of wasted.

I have mine at 134. Works good enough for me. I usually play through with it by having her basic attack. I raised her talent, so it works out.

i actually noticed that when i finished speed tuning my bronya and JL. As you said, you need to either ult on bronyas turn before her e or after the dps uses their turn with bronyas skill.

With 161 spd and 200%crit dmg , I should no longer have to worry about adjusting the Bronya's speed. Whether my dps has boots or not, Bronya will work perfectly E-A-E-A(with her cone and e1, she will be sp positive)

I just gave her the Musketeer set because of her decent basics and attack scaling, and that has worked better than any other set on her. Personally, I think I try to make it too complicated sometimes - always using the new set or the most ideal 4-piece bonus - but I am learning that sometimes you just need to keep it simple.
After watching this I decided to check on my speed stats. My Bronya is sitting at E0 with her signature LC and 4pc messenger at 151 speed, my Jing Liu is at 150 with E0S0, and my Blade is at 103 with E0S1. My Blade team runs perfectly fine because of how much slower he is compared to Bronya but Jing Liu is always moving right behind her and I never thought to check their speed stats because they still clear content easily. Now though I’m going to try and tune either my Bronya to be a bit slower or my Jing Liu to be a bit faster. Thanks for opening my eyes Guoba.

I decided awhile ago that I wanted her to be "hassle-free" with all DPSs and ended up giving her 2+2. Messenger and Wuthering and not worry about any of it lol.

i feel good with 4 musket which bronya speed is under main dps speed, cause bronya can skill to adv forward dps to atrack again.
bronya talent can be good too, cause to save sp she can do basic attack and get advanced forward in the next turn.
4 musket works too! :) Gives the 2 pc hackerspace without the 4 pc, and is cheap to get. ideally you transition to 2 hacker 2 tank but if its working fine then all good :D
Hackerspace making Bronya much faster than the DPS can help if the DPS has been delayed or slowed, or if the enemy will attack before the DPS, fast Bronya can make the DPS attack first. But it's very situational, so yeah.
I ended up using 4 piece healer set for the extra skill point, since I was getting enough bulk from other relics and didn’t want speed to be too much a problem. The extra starting sp helps a lit for early rotations too.
that sounds like a major pain, Ill count on e2 speedtuning my dps automatically.

used to put musketeer boots with nice cdmg sub stat on her since hackerspace spd boots is a pain to farm. got decent spd boots recently, but then noticed the spd become messed up every time she ults... i think i'll just go back to the old ways lol thank god the old boots is still there

oh thank goodness im not the only one thinking that 4pc hackerspace can hurt bronya in a way. Decimal points sure can screw up a rotation, thanks Guoba!
I think the most valuable thing I learned from this is that the buffs in game are always upon the base stats; which explains why the same percentage of buff can result in different increases of the numbers. This was very confusing before realizing this idea, because seeing the same percentage being applied to all allies and ends up getting different results was always baffling.

This is nothing more than a definition of the way they built the game, rather than “basic math”; as all functionals need to be defined and given the correct operators to produce the expected results.

Base ATK x 20% = ATK 1
ATK 1 x 20% = ATK 2 = new ATK
basically,
Base ATK x 20% x 20% = new ATK
OR
Base ATK x 20% = ATK 1
Base ATK x 20% = ATK 2
ATK 1 + ATK 2 = new ATK
basically,
Base ATK x (20% + 20%) = new ATK
Both are valid, just different base number; in the game they usually word it as “increase the ATK of the character’s ATK” or “ increase the character’s SPD by” which sounds like the first case, because the character’s ATK or SPD is always changing in combat;
However, what they actually meant was increase the ATK of characters BASE ATK or BASE SPD; which then is a constant number, so it fits the latter case.

@@venexo1434 And in the first case, the more you invest in one stat, the better outcome you get from the investment (so you would want to stack up on one main stat through the ceiling; so you want ATK% everywhere)
Whereas the second case, the more you invest in only one stat, the less reward you get in return; so instead you want to distribute your investment in different categories (ATK%, DMG%, DEF Reduction, Resistance Penetration, etc.)
Don't be discouraged Hacker Space 2 pc plus long disciple is still a very good combo for Bronya she still gets speed but is tankier. They come from the same domain so you'll likelyget good pieces farming both sets.

I got her to 164 a while ago and it literally let's you go 0 speed on all your dps it's insane

Do you also have to Max Level 10 Bronya's Talent too, after achieving 160+ speed?
I don't care whether if it's not the perfect "Right behind DPS" optimized, as long as I can achieve "Basic attack and then Skill" SP neutral playstyle....in the First 2-3 MOC cycles.....if possible.
I use the wind set cuz after using bronyas ult she gets advanced and it helps a lot when pairs with Liu.
My Bronya 'optimisation' process went something along the lines of 'big speed funny' and proceeded to not manage any other character around it.
So most my chars have like 120 speed while Bronya has intense zoomies :D

as a dan-hang main, going first or second(because of passive) is still a win win for me.
Guides like this are good, since they're about going into deeper understanding of a character's kit.
Personally, I find Bronya as an extender, so as long as one can speed tune her to always follow after DPS turn, it's fine. Since if the DPS has like 0 spd, the frequency of DPS taking turns is so much lower, which lower the DPS's efficiency.
The problem is how ppl don't really understand how some concept works. For example, ppl want to build -1 spd Bronya, but the spd difference between DPS and Bronya can be a bit more, since the main point is you want Bronya to go after DPS.
The 135 and 134 is regarded as a major breakpoint due to ppl wanting to go on 0 cycle, and it proves to be most stat-effective. But if one can't 0 cycle, and this is a guide for most playerbase, that obviously can't really 0 cycle well (I mean, if you can 0 cycle, why go after a guide), then the concept is reduced to its main point: Bronya just have to go after DPS, at least don't put her on 0 speed, that's F up. They just need to have decent spd, and the spd difference isn't that high. Of course, having relics to adjust is a pain to deal with, but this is farming afterall, adjustments are to be made afterwards.
Of course, the wind set is just dumb tbh since it messes up the action bar calculation, and only fits characters not relying on spd tuning (Bronya and Yukong for example) and would love to have more action bar, such as Asta, Pela, etc.
Tbf, I feel like Bronya just need stats to just not change when in the battle (to not just cause any miscalculations), so either of mentioned set 4 really sucks, tbh. It only fits ones that really want to spam turn, like DoT teams.
Easier said than done. When I finished building Jingliu, I realised I need to slow down Bronya or Jingliu won't get buffed properly or be able to get into her Trance fast enough. The game knew what I wanted to do and decided that everything should roll into Speed only xD

Thanks for the Bronya guide. Spd tuning is a pain for me since relic farming and rolling are just terrible to work on. My e1 Bronya atm is at 134spd 4pc hacker 198%CDmg, her boots is only at 13. Most of my dps are slower anyway and sometimes 4pc hacker helps me in some situation where I need to bump my chars in the turn order to surpass the enemies. I will check my other 2 pc relics and see if it'll help her.
If your DPS are slower than her then ig youve got the hacker problem already, since you want Bronya behind for maximal potential. If it works its fine tho, but Id recommend going faster Bronya and then basic-> skill
Thanks guob, this actually happened to me with Loucha light cone LOL. The yukong, seele, sw, lou team was speed tuned so tightly that the invisible decimal messed up my team order when gettin the 6% from lou LC. So now i just run shared feelings on him 💀💀💀 such a waste of a lightcone 😂
the 12 speed from echoes should be flat tho :o if it works now tho then awesome
@@guobacertified my yukong was set one speed slower than my Lou (that way seele and sw could get the buff turn 1 and forward when seele spd boost kicks in to put her first in the order, but after the first turn for some reason she would get pushed infront of him and then it wastes a turn of her buff. Ur right when i rechecked his LC its a flat 12 spd so idk why it was happening

I placed whatever set I have with high crit damage sub stat, I ended up with exact 134 speed, 1600+ def, 40%+ effect res and 200%+ crit damage

I like windset, the action advance allows my bronya to have utility outside her turn like when the enemy has a bunch of turns in a row in swarm and i get to cut ahead
That can be a bonus but ideally you dont get in those scenarios, still nice so gj for using it to your advantage!
I definitely had this problem until I switched to fast bronya. 😂 Too tired to speed tune especially cause I use Yukong as well.
i kinda wish this guide came out sooner.. i spent most of the past week trying to get better relics for hacker and hp set for supports and blade/fu but if i had known i could have spent it elsewhere i would have 😭
Its fine, theyre amazing to farm especially with blade! You didnt waste anything, and you can stilll use 2 hacker 2 hp on bronya :)
oh my god, My rotation was always dps, bronya->dps, bronya again at some point in the cycle after a bronya ult, after this video I changed 4 piece speed set to 2 piece speed and 2 piece Max hp set and now it's always dps, bronya->dps, dps, bronya-> dps etc. This made the team way stronger with way more Jingliu extra turns ❤😮

134 Bronya with 2pc Hacker/Wuthering. She’s tanky and can support my 135 Carry forever without fretting over speed. Happy with her.
While I would love to speed tune my bronya, I use her on so many diffferent setups it feels like a hassle. Does anyone have a spreadsheet of their different DPS speeds and different sets for Bronya (for their personal use)?
Or go for the forbidden 180+ SPD build (yes you heard me right 180+) where you have to have C'thulhu level of luck to get perfect substats on almost all of your relics and have your Bronya be Seele number 2, while also making your DPS Seele number 3 and have the whopping 4 turns per cycle :^) (do not attempt if you lack E1S1 cause this build is extremely SP hungry)

I find speed tuning an exercise in madness. I just get that spd boots to keep up with high level enemies. And still slap a hacker space set on her to have allies keep up with enemies and be done with it. I am not going to bother with fine tuning to squeeze out every last value.

I didn't farm Wind set, they are by-product by farming for Jingliu. So i just slap them on both Bronya/Pela.
I think 4 piece spd is a great option still for those who don’t want to speed tune and don’t mind using a basic atk now and then. Otherwise you need to adapt her for every new carry. And realistically the speed tuning is only really relevant for those going for 0 cycle clears.
The carry is the one that adapts ideally at 135 SPD, but thats if you got the gear for the different DPS. But yeah its still useable as said ^^
DPS are basically Sitting Ducks without any skillpoints to use.....unless it's Seele who can be SP neutral depending on how flexible you are in situations.

2 Messenger + and 2 rainbow pieces with 30%ish CD each (Speed boot with 30% CV lmao) I believe that I can't really upgrade this due to my luck with relics. And anyway I prefer insane substats since if my Bronya AA, it's that the rota has a problem.
While I am on 4pc spd and I tend to run my DPS's Slow there is still room for me to Improve the Hands and Head to have more SPD and Crit DMG on them or at least more SPD and the same Crit DMG as I feel the CD Body with the 6 SPD and the SPD boots with 22.6% CD are pretty hard to Replace unless I get lucky on a Guard/Knights/Disciples Piece on a SPD boot or Crit DMG piece so that would be the Easy 2 pieces to keep for 2pc Spd. My Bronya's currently at 205% CD with 141 SPD Pretty good on the Tankiness with 4400 HP and 1300 DEF with no spd & 10%/16% CD on the Head and Hands.
I have Bronya on E2 and I would like to know: can I ignore Hackerspace altogether? Or is the 6% from its 2PC is still valuable regardless the fact? Your videos are amazing and I hope you get that 50k subscriber milestone soon!
You can ignore hacker even without ^^ its just a nice 6% spd on her. E2 Bronya has the same problem as problem 2 btw for Jingliu / Sushang specifically in case you wanna try running them ATK% Boots and make them go ahead of Bronya, but thats niche
i just use sets on my bronya to make her tankier. speed tuning problems. ive considered 4p healing just for the extra skill point lol, if it had good stats anyway.

I've essentially put all of my supports on 2 piece speed 2 piece HP or Def. Need the speed, but I'm also sick of supports getting one shot or wombo combo'd.

Hackerspace got my Bronya to 134 since the majority of the substats went into crit DMG. ended up fixing the speed turning by getting my DPS to speed 150-160 to be safe, and Tingyun to speed 170....
Your dps lose a ton of stats at 150-160 unless they are Jingliu, so Id recommend against that lol. Probably works fine for MOC rn though
For me, as long as my bronya is fast and have enough crit dmg to boost my blade up, then its fine
I use 4pc Wind on her cuz I farmed it awhile ago. Her set is great and I've gotten used to how to use it. Like ulting before I skill on her turn or right before her turn so the advance isn't used. It is helpful if a party member is weak so you can advance bronya and use her skill on a Healer to skill them or charge Ultimate. I can see why people say it's annoying but as I've been using it since like 1.1 I'm used to the rotation with my blade

@@guobacertified Yea, I can understand the issue but I'm so used to it that I get annoyed when she doesn't advance if I use a support bronya or one on my mini who doesn't have Wind set. It's just nice cuz blades a bit...Suicidal with his hp. And bronya and pela seem to LOVE dying more than him
As a person who doesn't have Jingliu, a way to fix this issue is ulting on the dps turn after i use the skill on him, but doesn't that strategy lose me alot of energy gained on Bronya since the skill gives the most energy?
Have her on 165 speed with 4 hackerspace. Using her with Blade and Jingliu. She is doing kaps and always behind one of them

Since i couldn't get any good longevous piece, i decided to get rid of one hackerspace piece and give her a random musketeer piece with speed and crit dmg substats
Good thing I'm to dumb for this. Any damage number is big damage for me.

Strange question: Can Hunter of Glacial Forest work on her as well, as it increases the crit damage for 25% while she uses her ultimate, and it gives the buff with the 25%?
Wait but for dps who are skill hungry (like jing yuan, imbibitor lunae, blade, etc) should she be faster or can she still go after to give them another turn?
i farmed the ice set way too much, i will run wind set on every support ever just to break even

Spd tuning is too theoretical and not actually feasible in the game cause it has to many variables. You can create an ideal scenario for it (which is what is done when you compare -1 spd bronya to her other playstyles) but at the end of the day, 1 mess up in rotation, 1 imprison or entanglement, bronya's own advance forward shenanigan, and self speed buffs that hunt characters usually have make the -1 speed bronya really only useful with blade when compared to her other playstyles.
Nah the rotation fixes itself after 1 Bronya skill since their AVs will be tied again. Youre right with Hunt units it wont work with -1 very well but she will still be behind which is the goal of this rotation. Its true some entanglement bosses and imprison ones ruin it but again, its okay on the next turn, and tuning is feasible and has been used for 0 cycling since 1.0 :D
I really feel like speed tuning is mostly for 0 cycling MoC 10. It's really just min maxing and I could probably get more by trying for better relics on my Dps.

Hmm I think I’ve decided I hate speed tuning because it takes the flexibility away. I’m all about adapting to the battle flow and tuning requires certain actions which is ruined if something goes wrong.
Depends on the units overall. A fast bronya with Hackerspace(is honestly a tad overkill for most comps) though still usable.
For let's say someone like DHIL, I would advice making Bronya fast than slow. Her advance forward mechanic makes it near guaranteed that she'll be available before the Cycle ends, DHIL can freely just basic and save his giga burst after Bronya Skill (it's also an effective way to gain more energy)
Thats why I explain its if you have the SP its the best. DHIL has 3 SP + Bronya 1 SP is impossible haha, so we'd run fast Bronya ye, or do the basic 3 basic strat on DHIL with an e1s1 bronya
@@guobacertifiedit's a fair take. The two difference with this fastnya playstyle and dps speed-1 is you trade an extra sp for slightly less damage
For someone like Blade and Jingliu the dps-1spd is definitely better.
But for someone like DHIL there's in no hecking way to pull off 2 consecutive 3ba. It's just way too much sp to handle.
So which one should i use?, sonic bronya or speed tuning bronya?(my bronya speed 144 with E1 with her lightcone and my acheron speed is 136) "help me im stressing rn" 😢

I use very random pieces on her, and run her on 167spd with 97spd Blade, syncs pretty damn well
