    Hey Frank.
You should go with octoprint. It works really well. And there are no wifi issues, because you hook the raspberry pi into the mini USB port on your printer, so it only uses wifi when you transfer the file to the pi.
You can even slice your file and send it directly from cura.
    Great video

Hey frank I have an idea for the permanent print farm. You could take a corner and hang some plastic sheeting and make a painting booth with shelves for paint and other materials that way you don’t have to go outside in the winter, and the room won’t be messy. You could go all out and add other things too just an idea I wanted to share.

So question about power: you said you might be able to run maybe 8 printers max at a time. Am I overestimating the power draw of printers, or do you have an unusually strong circuit? I understand some printers are smaller, but for example with the jig printers, Wouldn’t just one Ender 5 Plus draw like 5-8 amps while running? How much more could you push the breaker?

Thanks for making this! I'm in the process of setting up my own wearable art business and was gonna be having multiple resin & filament printers running in my bedroom. Will help until I'm able to expand out of my room. :) Also I saw another commenter mention that even splitting the printers up across multiple wall outlets isn't the safest option. Do you know a workaround for this? Anything I should look out for when running multiple printers? What is too many for my home, is there a way to check the maximum amount? Tbh I'm not fully clued up on the electrical side of things & fuse boxes so any links to learn about all that stuff would be super helpful 😂 I guess most homes are limited to only using a certain number of appliances? Edit: looking into house wiring and circuit breakers - thanks for making me more aware! The only workaround really is to have an electrician come and upgrade the electrical panel to allow for more current? I think my 5 printers should be safe until I move out and expand (currently living with parents)
