I was a little sceptical of the DLC at first, but having tried it and having heard about some of the thoughts behind it, I actually really like it. I think the ambience really adds to the game, and together with the patch that came at the same time, I have started playing again and have had an absolute fantastic time! Thanks for the lovely work and I will look forward to any future ambience additions.
I think we all can find a balance between the interests of the company and the playerbase. Ofc taking into note companies need the customers more....
So many are grumbling.
Yeah, I wouldn't say that graphic updates are the most important thing for the game, on the other hand it's one of the prettiest games.
So the art team should be commended for doing a great job.
After the mechanics in Voice of the People were immature, this DLC at least delivers what it promises.
Is there any way to remove the objects at the corners of the map? I find them distracting.

Have you ever occurred to you that the day/night cycle tied to game time could still have a multiplier, making it one cycle per in-game week or month? And then it will be actually helpful to get a feel of in-game time progressing, instead of breaking your feeling of the game being paused or accelerated as the sun keeps moving with the same speed.
I hope the story of No man sky can be emulated for Vic3
how ? Vic3 did very well they made huge sales with Vic3
@@jgalvan09he’s not referring to sales lmao, he’s saying that hopefully they make the game better by continuing to update and support it. so maybe one day it’ll have the content it should’ve had on launch.
@jgalvan09 it's mixed on steam and it's got less than 5k active players, decreasing steadily every month, be real
@@gr_egg yeah I’m being real they sold over 500k copies what does player count matter when they have spikes on the weekends stop acting like a waste basket. If it’s not your type of game don’t cry and buy it then.
✌✌
#Yikes
Sometimes i feel like Paradox just strings us along with no end state for the game in mind. I tend to version freeze when I'm satisfied with the core features. Its exhausting to keep up with the patch notes.
I’m a massive paradox fan. I’ve probably spent 500 + on eu4, stellaris, and ck2 DLC.
Victoria 3 launched in a completely unacceptable state. This game was rushed out and lacked core features that were already in Victoria 2. I have no interest in paying extra to add spheres of influence, a feature that already existed in the previous game.
This game will not be in a playable state for me until 2024 at the earliest. Paradox burns the good will of its consumers by charging full price for a game in early alpha.
It's crazy to live in a time where a perfectly playable and quite polished game is accused of being in "early alpha". I don't suppose you know what an actual early alpha build of a game looks like.
By no means is Vic 3 perfect, and it still has a long way to go to really shine, but to call it "not in a playable state" is completely laughable.
That's funny.
@@DjImpossibility On launch, the game was laughably broken. Naval invasion cheese making all wars trivial? Completely unbalanced and broken political system? How about the complete triviality of abolishing complex social structures such as serfdom in Russia? The complete lack of flavor for almost every nation? This game was about as polished and finished as Fallout 76.
sounds like you need to go outside often work on your career than a job, it's just video game
@@jgalvan09 “you have a different opinion than me about a video game, therefore you are a loser.” is a pretty ironic argument.
I had huge hopes for this game but was so disappointed at launch. You clearly misunderstood what this game should be about.
What should it be about in your opinion and how does the current game not meet this?
@@BlueHawkPictures17 There was so much said and written about what this game could have been. The original was a market and politics simulation in the Victorian age with colonization and war on top. We all expected the same and more of this but better combat and simulation. What we got was the same thing but much worse. There was no free market economy or any real serious market simulation. The politics is - more progressive always better. The countries are mostly the same. You can get both Chile and Japan to the western levels more or less the same way! No westernization. It good for one try. I've played maybe 2 games to completion and quit.
Ignore the whining , this game is dope
"Ignore the reasonable complaints from your consumer base" yeah good motto for any game studio to live by and thrive
Not touching this game until the war system update. Cautiously optimistic.
@@lewis123417 YOLO
@@firebird4491 Same. I don't see any point in investing hours and hours in this game until that system works properly.
@@firebird4491 tbh I haven’t played in maybe 2 months…waiting for the war update
Ignore the bootlicking from @NB-yu4lj this game needs improvement.
Sorry I called you a whiner😭
