How Mapping Relationships can Save the World (UX Sofia 2022 Talk)

With the theme of "Sustainability in Design" at UX Sofia's 2022 conference, I answer the question: "How can Object-Oriented UX contribute to solving the climate crisis…or saving endangered species…or cleaning our oceans and air? Or…all of the above?" It all comes down to exposing the truth about the inner workings of the world by mapping connections and relationships.
In this video, I'll demo the Nested-Object Matrix through the lens of understanding energy production and mapping the relationships between objects in this domain. And I'll even follow through on some low-fi screen design to make these concepts come to life.

The sticky note is generally a contextual representation for the concept of the encoding of a subjective expression of a "thing" or "idea" and then appending or affixing that encoded thought artifact to a greater "thing" (corkboard, database, side of a fridge)
