Watched a few of your uploads and must say you have good taste in cars. Congrats on your Alpine. Although not really related to this video, I was wondering if you have knowledge on older MX5s. I'm looking at the NC3s with the retractable roof and automatic transmission (gasp!). Planning to get one in about 4-5 years as my retirement present. But because it will be more than 10 years old, are there any insurance companies that offer comprehensive coverage? Also, would it be possible to import in, since NCs are such a rare breed, at least here in Malaysia. I've seen many NDs zipping around KL/PJ but not the NCs.
Thanks for tuning in. Great choice with the NC. Yes, there will be insurance companies who can do comprehensive. Might have to shop around but it's not in that age that cannot get comprehensive. Importing will not be possible because the new rule allows only cars above 35 years to be imported.
Suzuki Swift Sport enough for me already 😂, kinda sucks that all the other RM100k+ (when new) hot hatchbacks have disappeared with no successors to take their place.
U havent factor in - planned and un-planned modification or.... the more glamours term ->> 'upgrade' expenses .. 20% of monthly installment value per month.. lol

@@malantra5730 that doesn't make sense. Join the MX-5 club drives on Sundays. Many 1.5M go up Genting. Including older NA's and NC's. Also, watch YS Khong's 1.5 Myvi Genting touge.

Quick key takeaway. Reality in Malaysia, increase your income to T20 before even thinking of nicer cars.. meanwhile myvi is always at our service
