Proa Jzerro Sept. 2011

www.ptwatercraft.com Jzerro is the 4th Proa designed and built by Russell Brown who currently owns the boat for personal use. This is a recent sailing video made by his wife. Russell Brown is also the designer of the PT Eleven, 11ft nesting dinghy designed with serious cruisers in mind.

comitting to a proa for cruising seems like such a dramatic leap. much respect for your ambition but i think im willing to sacrifice speed for a little more elbow room and comfort. seriously considering building a proa for the beach now

Niiiiice! Just one concern--the companionway hatch always faces the spray, doesn't it? How do you go below in a storm without getting water inside?

no motor, that is the rudder. The pitch changes with speed.
