The perfect video! I’ve had procreate for a while now but I’m having trouble completing the switch from physical to digital work, mostly due to brushes. Thank you!
Art/drawing has become so much more complicated, when you can spend this much time just learning the different pencils and brushes. We used to just pick up an actual pencil and start drawing! This looks like I need to go back to college just to learn the tools! Can you imagine the space it would eat up on your desk if you actually had this many brushes physically available to you! 😳 Impressive!
@@sorackee2512 I’d like that. I have a couple ancient Wacom tablets that you could plug into computers. But it was odd drawing on a blank pad and watching the computer screen to see the results. I’m not that coordinated. Now I’d need to buy a computer again and all that expensive software etc. Pencils and paper are much cheaper. I can at least afford that.
@@Bodhi1satva yes, it is a bit jarring when you first start with a tablet. But traditional works just as well, and I feel like traditional artists are better at drawing through in the sense that they don’t rely on the undo button to get a perfect result . There are benefits to either medium
The second (reference) monitor above your primary screen is genius! I've had mine to the side for ages but this changes everything. Probably not the point of the video but seriously thank you for this haha 👍
nice!! i tend to get overwhelmed when choosing brushes for a piece and end up just using 1 per drawing... this was really informative! (my fav procreate default is nikko rull!)
I watch your videos so many times that my daughter she's only 7 months old she's always smiling every time she sees you I think she loves you a lot it's so funny
Fav procreate base brushes: Storm bay 1, turned off color dynamic on it Grid Chalk, made a 2nd one to go bigger in size, Mono line, made a second with taper Shale brush 6B pencil, 2nd made to have for textured fill Watercolor, Script, Soft blend airbrush Concrete block Cotton Wet sponge, And Wash
Thank you so much for this video. I’ve been trying to work more on photoshop, adding more texture so now I have more options when digital drawing. If you could, would you please create a video about what kind of courses you have taken, that would be super helpful. Thank you, I love your videos so much. Your videos provide a lot of information of digital drawing and the animation industry.
My fav procreate default is the 6b pencil, I used to use the hb and technical now I just use the 6b lol. Also the gouache and wet acrylic brushes from the painting folder
Hi Laura I just wanted say you look great! I saw an IG comment you reposted on someone criticizing your look (they’re crazy btw) so just to compliment how great you look overall! Specially the hair 👏🏼
OMGGG YESSSSS JXJZMDMZKD SO COOOOOOOOLLL ..doesn't help me cuz I don't have an ipad nor Ps 😭 but yes omg sooooo COOOOOOOL to see em aaaaaaa .... PLSSSS do a vid on checking out Autodesk Sketchbook aaaa
I'd love an additional video showing sample uses for these brushes. For example, I never know which brushes are for textures, nor do I know how to use them. And I am totally lost when it comes to rake brushes.
Please can you do a video explaining how to calibrate the Wacom screen colors to be the same as the computer screen colors. I’m having problems with getting it fixed.
I struggle with this myself! I don't think you can calibrate to be perfectly the same unfortunately :( I just eyeball it. As I paint I will drag my painting to the computer screen to make sure the colors are looking okay.
I keep buying procreate brush packs and never use almost all of them. I really need to organise it better, somehow it got cluttered and I keep going back to CSP ( ._.)
Hello, I need someone to draw me some bubbles by hand and also the rest of the elements that are present on the map, using various Photoshop brushes. I pay good money for it. Thank you.
I love that you show brushes for both programs!
These brushes look fun to work with. Great thing that clip studio paint now supports abr brushes and displays the brush tip just like photoshop

Fun fact if you use Clip Studio Paint you can actually import Photoshop brushes into CSP.
And tomorrow (hopefully) they are updating it so that you can see the brush tips just like photoshop
@@cupicakeswars Yeah I just updated it last night and I am so happy!!
this is very helpful, thanks so much!
I really love the Tinderbox brush for lineart-I have a few drawing videos on my channel if you want to see how I use it.

Thanks for your insights!
My go-to Procreate sketch brush is the 6B pencil, but I modified it to give it more of a taper and have it be not quite as chunky

i just discovered your channel and i absolutely love it! my dream job is working at animation studio like you. im 16 and im still learning ^^
Have you ever thought of making a LinkedIn learning background painting tutorial I would really love that.
I'd love an additional video showing sample uses for these brushes. For example, I never know which brushes are for textures, nor do I know how to use them. And I am totally lost when it comes to rake brushes.
hey! I would check out my speed paints to see how I use these brushes!

Is it even a lulu sketch if it doesn't have a subtle rake?
Your hair is looking amazing! Where do you get it done at?

How do I get the steven universe brush??
Hi! Sorry I don’t know! It’s not mine to give away :(
Hiii is it possible you could help me find a tool ? For photoshop I edit photos currently 😭I just really need help finding this special tool
Where is Mabel
H0W TO DOWNLOAD IT ?
What drawing tablet you use
this is a Cintiq 22HD
Also I feel like my hb pencil looks nothing like that? Is it customized or part of a new update?
it's just the default! it should react the same way as you tilt your apple pencil while drawing.
@@lulusketches Okay, thanks! I'll experiment with it more :)
Does someone have this O’Keefe’s brushes?
How is Huxley ?
He’s great!!
hi
Nice video! Can I sell my art/illustrations that have been created with any of your brushes?
Kyle's brushes are great - I just wish he hadn't sold out to Adobe :(
