there are so many incredible artists in the world who hide behind this desire for validation, but constantly seeking others approval to create, stifles creativity. we lose our creative voice, we rely too much on external influences and we miss out on the chance to just be ourselves. stop waiting for permission to create.

I agree and would like to add that I think the desire for validation adds to the pool of desire for creation to it adds to the “stuckness”

that's an interesting take, i can resonate with that. some of the moments when i feel stuckness is not always because of lack of inspiration or motivation, but rather because i don't know what to make that other people would find "cool" or "intriguing"... it makes it 10x harder to create from that lens.
