The deployment unit is really coming along well! Making me jealous as I’m riding out of the trunk of my Mazda 3 sedan. Getting really tired of taking the front wheel off and on and off and on…. Maybe I’ll invest in a bike rack. Hard to beat in the trunk for safety and security tho. Plus bike racks are expensive!
As you know all the things are give and take. We all love the hitch mount rack for transport. We never really leave them on the back for any length of time. its all about transport for us.

I have a friend who bought a 2021 Nissan NV200, but has yet to build it out as a camper like yours.....he's waiting on lumber prices to drop. I have the carpentry skills and tools, so I will be helping out with the build....practice for when and if I buy my own micro-van

i’m so glad someone mentioned the lift kit for the pmc! was it a diy project dustin or did it need to go to a body shop?
I took this to a shop, it was tricky to find places that were open to doing it as well.
Sweet build, I also have a PMC for gravel adventure around Seattle! I would love to find those covers. The link to Amazon sends me to a back seat cover that says it doesn’t fit. All the ones I’ve searched for otherwise don’t seem to have the snug fit yours does, any more specifics on brand? Thanks and keep rollin!

In europe it is sold as Fiat Doblo, they are very popular
I generally think of america as a crime ridden shithole compared to the wonderland of Scotland where I live but in fairness there's no way I would put my bike on a rack on the outside of my van. Chained to the sub-frame on the inside is the only way to go! Happy trails

Dustin, are you sure about that MPG figures - it should be mid 50's for that van? I have something very similar here in Scotland.

No way mid 50s. No non-electric small car gets that in the states. sure you aren't thinking km/gal or something? 26 sounds about right. You may have a different diesel engine option in Scotland, but I still would be shocked by 50s.
