RC Madness BL5 Brushless Conversion for Losi 5T #1

Video tutorial of brushless conversion installation of the RC Madness BL5 kit on a Losi 5ive-T. I take you through an short introduction and motor mount installation. The BL5 conversion is the best layout and design of any conversion available. It keeps the weight balance left to right nearly perfect, actually the servo side is 1oz heavier with stock servos! The motor mount retains the adjustability of the stock gas engine by keeping the inserts that go under the chassis to automatically set the gear mesh. The motor is as close to the chassis as possible for the lowest center of gravity, and the mount is so rigid, the conversion is capable of 12s lipo. No stress on center diff, and best of all, mechanical brakes still allow brake bias to the rear so you can drive it so hard, tap the brakes and drift through the turns.

Chris, I just finished my install it is very easy, I went with the Castle setup, I put the brake servo in the aux and used the mixing on the radio to work it out. I need to see if I can get more power to the duel servos for steering and a set of good 4s batteries. it's fun on 6s it's gonna be sick with the right power. I have a Castle 10amp BEC on hand how could I use that to power the servos the way I did before, I was using the Dark Soul connector, Just the signal goes through the radio the power came directly from the Killer RC Battery. That motor mount is the beef man, Hook me up with some real batteries.
