Absolutely great job by Fran running around collecting all she could of what was washing off the sinking tender as the boys tried to drag it onto the beach. Fran even had the foresight to grab the boys some water as they struggled with the tender. A true team player, great work Fran.
After only recently discovering this channel, I've binged all these videos due to the shitty weather and im absolutely hooked. You are all dead set legends. Fran is a major trooper. Often catching or shooting the best fish, cooking up a storm most nights. Stricksy has monstrous nads for going after the boat, twice! Just a great bunch of people, who id love to sit around a campfire with and share a few brews. Eva and her shenanigans 🤣 Plus some of the underwater footage was insane! Its a completely different world down there. Keep it up guys. Time to attack the side channels. ✌️

just found this channel and this is some absolutely underrated content holy moly. The surf, THE FRIGGIN CAVE, the spearing, the angling, everything absolutely top tier and you all set great example for everyone to follow in almost every way in these activities and i have a VERY critical eye. no need for spotless superyacht just get out there with people that know what they are doing. you eat what you catch. tender sinking was amazing display of tolerance for adversity making for a grand start to what i imagine will be an unforgettable trip for yall. The guide driving the tender had to think quick and by the way he kept circling im guessing he would have sunk the boat rather than leave a client afloat like that unless you had been so chill and probably told him to go? Fran is a legit beast of a woman doing work on that beach with the crew! I'm jaw-dropped jealous of this experience in every aspect. BRAVO

“Banana for good luck” then it all happened. I’m not normally superstitious but bananas on a boat is a big no no.
There was a banana in the charter boat 6 hours south of the port of Valdez the day I caught a 208lb halibut. The captain and some others teased him mercilessly for bringing it, but that's ridiculous. Banana had nothing to do with it. Andy from Andy's Catch and Wild Cook" is also from Oz. On his channel, which has hundreds of videos, he eats bananas all the time just to prove that superstition wrong. 🤷♂️

Superstition is just that. There are some nautical superstitions that are so far fetched that the only way anyone came up with them, was lack of vitamin c, too much rum or whiskey or whisky and shitty food rations and months at sea, with only cabin boys and perhaps a manky prostitute for company.
That’s where nautical superstition comes from. Just like when people say ‘bless you’ after someone sneezes to stop their soul from escaping their body! Tradition and superstition. Human behaviour. 😂
