For your reach. If you made slightly shorter bands you'd get much more powerful launches of your ammunition. Just a thought brother. Keep doing your thing this is awesome.

Excellent idea with that heavy handle it can also be used as a club, wrap that rubber on your wrist hold the rubber close to that heavy handle swing it like a chako, walla! a hard hit haha

Nice project but for added comfort I would wrap the handle with para cord either 550 or 1100 grade both can be found at Wal-Mart in the camping sports section to help against cold.

take an old bicycle tube and cut it into thin straps. use that instead of thread but cool video

you might have some trouble with the rubber bending over that hard edge on the screws. easily fixed with a file if you have any issues though. nice build, never would have thought of that.
The edges of these are rounded over as standard mate or I would have done myself

Make it so it will except flat bands and baby you got a stew goin.
The flat bands made of exercise bsnds or therabands can be made to shoot full butterfly and they actually deliver more of the stored energy since they dont pile up the way tubes do. Outstanding idea tho. I love it.

You could've made two small flat plates like a vise gruo to attached a flat band from the top or the side, anyway you did a great job of repurposing the Piston.
I made another since this and I just attached the flat bands to the screws it worked nicely, I didn’t realise when making this that the flat ones were better.
