Your HOTDOG stand looks great! To promote sales you can put up a sign that says, HAPPY HOURS BETWEEN 3 AND 4PM. PRICES WON'T LAST LONG. BUY one, get the second HOTDOG half off. IF SALES DON'T DO WELL CHANGE YOUR LOCATION. I am sure they will sell at a county fair, church, park or college campus. April 22, 2024 MONDAY
Thank you for the suggestions. We have a permanent location during the week and we bounce around on the weekends doing various events. Thanks for watching.

Respect, here's to years of success. I started with the same type of cart, now I'm in a food trailer. Tons of hard work but it definitely pays off.
That’s our goal is a food trailer. We are getting older now and the wear and tear on your body starts to catch up to you. Thanks for commenting and giving us a confirmation to keep going!

That's so awesome! I have the same goal, also in Nor Cal. Just getting all the paperwork done now. You have a killer little Trailer. New or Used? Just seeing your 1st Day vid is so encouraging!
So Happy for you guys, I know you worked really hard to get to that 1st day! All the best wishes and good thoughts your way!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you and we appreciate your kind words! We sold our Popup trailer and bought our hot dog cart. We converted the trailer, which someone else was using as a BBQ trailer previously. We miss our little project, but we will be in another trailer in the near future! Good luck with your journey! And thanks for watching 😊
Bought our hot dog cart brand new from someone off of FB Marketplace.
The world needs more hot dog carts. Keep up the good work
Thank you 🙏🏾
@@Kool45llc Who doesn't have a good memory of a hot dog stand? Keep spreading the love.
I imagine the first setup is perplexing. It's ok. It means you want it right. I'll begin in a couple months here in Missouri with a converted small transit bus. Shaved ice, fresh lemonade, dogs, and nachos for now. I have a buddy with multiple food trucks. His advice to me was... it you want it, you'll make it. Pretty sure he's right. Good luck.
Thank you! And good luck to you as well!
respect
Great setup. I hope you do well
Thanks
Looks good guys u got this that's my dream someday to own a cart
Make it a reality!!!
good job

Love your content! You should come down to Texas on 6th street in Austin tx every weekends you guys will make good money around $2000 a day. No lie ! For real ❤❤
Thank you! That’s sounds like a blast. Maybe if the wind blows us that way 😊 thanks for watching!
damn I wish I lived near where y'all are set up. I love me some homemade hotdogs. also, I think a good idea area would probably be close to a park or something where kids are. kids love hotdogs! my niece and nephews always wanna eat them!
👍
Good for you guys, live your dream and try to remember you’ll fail a 1000 times before you succeed… never give up ❤️🤟✌🏻🌭
Thank you 🙏🏾 😊
yes! What other flavored hot dogs will be on the menu? Will definitely stop by!
We are still working on our menu. We currently sell hot dogs, hot links, bacon wrapped hot dogs and links, and We also sell shaved ice and lemonade. We are looking to add some more hot dog creations to our menu as we get out there a little more. Thanks for watching!
goodluck!
Thank you
You can also do Mexican corn on the cob ...elote xo it's cheap so the profit is high xo
It’s definitely on the list of things to do 😊
That's what up
KEEP GOING.... PEOPLE HAVE TO GET USE TO SEEING YOU
Thank you 🙏🏾

Just moved from Stockton, looks like a sick setup tho.
Thank you!
Nice
Thanks
I am just starting to build my mobile hotdog stand!😎
Congrats! Come back and let us know how it’s going
If it was that easy everyone wld be doing it including me
We say this all the time.
Congratulations guys! And, of course, mistakes are gonna happen. We learn as we go. You will succeed and grow bigger watch! Where are you guys from? Oh and how did you guys get that spot in the parking lot? I’ve been wanting to try that.
Thanks so much!
We are located in Stockton, CA. Here in Stockton you can pretty much setup wherever as long as you are permitted. In big shopping areas like that, most parking lots are not owned by any one stores, so you can setup anywhere as long as it’s not disturbing the other businesses. There is another big taco truck in this same parking lot. We recently secured a permanent spot at a small mom and pop store that gets steady traffic all day and is also near the hospital and other doctors offices.
How are you guys doing? Any updates? I wish you both a lot of prosperity!
We will post an update on Sunday 😊 We have an Event this weekend at a Military type academy and then the Flea Market on Sunday
Good luck with the business. I'm looking into getting a cart in a few months. In Long Beach California, Any tips
Research, Research, Research. Contact your local county health department and ask them what they require on your cart. That way you don’t waste your time or money. Take your time, and spend wisely. We will do more videos discussing this soon.
Please do a video discussing it soon ! I want to know how to do it properly and need help to set up here in the 209.
Not sure what hotdogs u are using but get some Nathan's too and have a more expensive option too. Raise your sales!!
We did a video on the brand we use. It’s a popular brand here where we live.
Looks good! You'll go through a lot of changes. Every time you go out, youll try to find some way to reduce the amount of stuff you have to carry, minimize the amount of prep work, etc... Its an ever-evolving game. The more you go out, the better and more efficient youll get. Just Keep It Simple! Good luck!
You are so right about that! We are always going back to the drawing board and figuring out new ways to be more efficient. Thanks for the encouragement 😊🙏🏾
Thinking about doing this in vegas 🤔
What did you take in on your first day? Good luck to you guys.
First day out we made $300. Spot we are at now, we’ve been averaging around $100 to $200 per day. We just got there, so we are building up the spot and clientele
Good that you offer grilled and water. What brand of frank?
We just posted a new video! We now sell a home town favorite which is Alpine Meats
Congrats. Unfortunately this is not something we can easily do here in Auckland, 🇳🇿 New Zealand due to city laws and restrictions on food vendors.
Aww I’m Sorry to hear that
I am doing the same thing in a few weeks.
Nice! Come back and let us know how it’s going!
@@Kool45llc I will. Thank you. Good luck in your ventures.
Damn, I want a chilli dog with mustard and onions
Comin right up! Thanks for watching!
You can make a lot of money in L.A. doing that, looks great too. They have thousands of illegal street vendors and some have their permit
We are permitted, love LA but wouldn’t live there.
@@Kool45llc oh that's great! I don't blame you for not wanting to live in L.A. I'm from here, and I don't even want to live here
@@Kool45llcI only suggested because I can see your set up is much better and cleaner than any street vendor I've seen in L.A. but yeah I spent some time in the Bay area Berkeley Oakland and most of y'all up north have no desire to live down in LA and usually pity us, but no offense taken I totally understand why. Well thanks for the content keep up the good work God bless you and your family
Thank you! You can actually find us from time to time in Oakland at Lake Merritt. We will be there for an event this Saturday. Thanks for watching!
that's awesome!!! How did you do that day?
We made about $300 that day. Our average day is about $150 to $200
@@Kool45llc that's awesome!!! I wish you much success in your venture.
Thanks! And thank you for watching.
So how was your first day. I wanted to do this but Dallas food permits seem to High for now.
We did about $300 that day. Average a day is about $150 to $200. It’s starting to warm up here, so that amount will go up plus our weekends are booked with events. Thanks for watching!
@@Kool45llc I looked into it, and Snow Cones, let the Grandkids play with running a business for summer. Cities make it to hard and pricey $$$
We sell shaved ice as well. We will be show casing our machine hopefully soon. We started out with shaved ice and hot dogs.
Congrats! What state are you in?
We are located in Northern California near Sacramento
How do you get a spot? You ask somebody or just roll with it?
We actually got lucky and a family member hooked us up with the corner store around the corner from his house. We know the owners as well. A food truck used to be in the spot and they moved on, so he let us have the space. We pay monthly but it’s not much and it’s worth it.
Most time you should be able to set up anywhere. In California we have to be a football field length away from any restaurants. Or you can ask stores or gas stations. It’s kind of a free for all where we live.
I don't know what state you're in but where we are we have to have a wash station I'm not sure if you guys had one or not
We have a hand wash sink on the backside of our cart. 👍🏾
Do you guys have the 12 inch hot dogs 🌭
Not at this time we don’t. We will be going up a size in our hot dogs, but not that size. Thanks for watching 😊
I’m a recovering alcoholic- I have enough to buy a cart after saving- can you please tell me how much you average a day in sales? I want to make the move but it’s so scary and no one shares real numbers
First congrats on your recovery. Keep going. As far as average sales we are just starting out, barely a month in. Our first day out we made $300 in 4 hours. We recently secured a permanent spot and we average around $200 a day from 11 to 3pm. Now mind you we are new to the spot and we are building our customer base by being consistent on the days we agreed to be there, which is Monday - Thursday. We expect to double that amount as the weather begins to warm up. We will be adding a Flea Market gig on Sundays, starting in March.
@@Kool45llc thanks buddy- I appreciate your reply. It means a lot to me- in regards to numbers- are you talking 200 gross or net? Like is that your take home a day? I’m so eager to start man- I love ur set up too
$200 to $300 take home a day. That’s cash. Not including the small card sales we get which I’ve been using the card sales to reup on food when needed.
Stockton, ca huh
Yes indeed.
