I dont frequently compliment game devs but will say 'bravo' here. Quick turnaround for an issue that would have dramatically set back much of the player base. Janky or not it works and that makes a big difference.
It's appreciated and good to see they listened to the community and made them account wide. I could see it get confusing and someone makes the mistake of refining a Mythic that was already traded in for a celestial. Hopefully the devs will be able to provide some type of simple warning in that scenario to prevent it from happening.
It's not bad, most of my old enchants are already bound so I guess these will be safe to upgrade now, I wish they will add the possibility to upgrade unbound too soon enough though, because I share a few unbound enchants with someone else and that would be nice if we could keep it going with celestials
I'm fine with this. All my mythic enchantments are already bound so that's not an issue. I was only ever concerned with not being able to reclaim the celestial enchants with my alts, and now I can.

On that note, can you make a vid or doc on the best enchant setups to make account wide, for those of us who want to play all roles and multiple dps. I like the newer split stat ones cuz they're pretty and have a bit more stat Thanks again.
Basically they did it right way: there are a lot of already claimed account bound mythic. For those it is easy just to go and claim celestial rank after they are upgraded on 1 main char. If not doing that way - there would be a bug with duplicated claimed items on mythic and celestial

I hadn't brought any of the new enchants that have recently came out due to how high the cost was since the ones I had were already mythic. Now will save up and buy the newer ones instead of keeping my Garnets and Such
This would not hurt the trade house and would more likely increase value of mythics. Since the supply would go down. Its not like farming to level enchantments is a viable single AD source. If anything its just another thing for the super rich players to spend more ad on. I get the "feeling" that its an economy move in attempt to fix the mess of a zen exchange.
Gold would highly depend on whether they made it look like the gold statue in Aquisitions or not. Purple is definitely not it. I think people like shiny glossy looking colors instead of the hideous blue for mythics which is worse. The biggest issue being that we got devs who are clearly sticking to trans flag or gay colors. We don't need that shoved down our throat.

I never traded in my mythic enchants to account wide, ever since when they first released and the tooltip said you can’t upgrade past mythic. Looking back I feel like that tooltip was put In place in anticipation of the celestial tier.
Once you unlock account celestial and if you want multiple copies of that enchantment, do you still have to sack that many celestial enchantments or can you just chain claim celestials with mythics?
This is gonna cause people to either lose the Mythic Enchantment or resources. We're (sorta) lucky as we we've just watched you're how to, but not everyone will know how to in day 1 of the new mod ☹️
Just upgrade one at a time and then make it protected so you don’t accidentally do it again. Will that work? If not they need to make it so we can tell which have been upgraded

Yes, already bound ones can be upgraded to celestial and made account wide. Just not if you copied them from the live server to the preview server, cause you didn't actually upgrade them on the preview server
I mean tbh you can't blame them they're employing ways to strip some ad out of the game without you logging in one day to less money 🤷 my enchants are already bound so no horse in this race, but I do think this is a better way than some of the other ways in the past they've taken ad out of the game.

If you want to lose 90% of the players this is how you do it. Very few will ever understand how this is done. Being able to get only 1 celestial garnet upgrade is ridiculous when I am now using 8 of them on each of my alts. Hopefully they either fix this issue or revert it back.

Most of AD is made on new module releases, when theres new content and new stuff dropping from the new dungeon. Idk your item level but work on improving it so you can enjoy the full game. Aragon has a video on that, search on his channel

@Aragon but if you upgrade an acount wide myth enchantment, that already on your charachter, to celestial, you can't make it account wide. It works only with "freshly" claimed enchantments from the tab, BUT you can't claim it coz you already wearing it (obviously) so you need to delete it from your charachter right? BUT when you delete an enchantment it can not be claimed again from the tab. Sooo...

They should get rid of bound to account enchantments. It's creating too many problems. People switch collars between alts, enchantments can take even less slots. It should also incentivize zen purchase for bank shared slots.
Elderscrolls gives you a free gift every day. They didn't screw the players over by taking our level 80 away like Neverwinter did. I am not bothering with this any more. It's is so boring. Also, playing Diablo 4 free on xbox and having a blast! You need to move on from this. There are just a few thousand players here versus 4 million on Elderscolls. That is where the action and fun is.
I say that and then I'm back the very next day. Still do pvp too, on PC that is.its people that make it fun. Idk what they throw at me. I be having fun. xD

It seems they made that extra step of claiming ur mythic in order to get the celestials. just so that they avoid this situation currently the game checks if u have x number of y enchantment in ur inventory or in ur personal bank, if u accidentally discard one that means u are missing one from the total x enchants so u can reclaim it... what happens when u upgrade ur reclaimed mythic to celestial, the game will find that u have x-1 enchants in ur inventory & personal bank, making u able to reclaim it again ... THUS making u really need to bind account wide only one enchantement mythic and u can make infinite celestials with only the cost of 1 upgrade,.... rather than 1mythic=1Celestial.... at the current state this means instead of the game checking if u have x of mythic garnet ... it will check if u have x of mythic or celestial garnet in ur inventory or personal bank
What does Bret meant with that? * You can't have more Celestial Account Unlocks (of a given enchantment type) than you have Mythic Account Unlocks (of that type).
@azurastar00 when you upgrade a claimed mythic to celestial you still have registered a mythic acc bound, and you have to trade in the mythic on other characters to get the celestial back. Basically stops you from claiming the mythic, upgrading to celestial then claiming the celestial acc so you have two celestials and only had to upgrade from myth for the second one.
Pretty easy process but alot of players gonna mess up and blow millions of AD but that might be apart of Cryptic plan😂. For those players complaining about the bound celestial enchantments "NO 1 IS FORCING YOU & and it's NOT REQUIRED TO UPGRADE TO COMPLETE END GAME plus the extra item lvl is not gonna make you a OP player. I love that we get another lvl, now if only they would Increase some damage magnitude on the pally so it's easier to do quest when soloing but that's a dream😂. Thank you for the info M8
If other players are having problems, then it could be a bug. There's too many people coming on here saying it doesn't work. I don't doubt these people figured out the original mythic upgrade process, but telling people that nobody is forcing them is just rude. Why wouldn't they want to? If you were having problems you'd be coming on here having the same grievance.

On my main account my enchants are all bound because 12 toons share them, on my other accounts they are not bound so im good either way lol.

You can just do all on one character and then claim them on all alt characters

Yes, you will do each garnet seperatly, one after the other with the same steps
